I get a lot of comments about ymfah discovering this exploit. It is a well-known exploit discovered way before he was even posting any Skyrim content. Ikr lmao. I got the greybeards to attack me near the edge of the cliff. One froze me while the other shouted me off (well, ig they all shouted) but i got my character stretched and flung to the side of whiterun. Fun
This is actually what happens when you fast travel. The dragonborns main skill is being able to precisely launch themselves for miles to an exact point of their choosing.

No. What happens is, I’m not allowed to tell you, but the NPC’s are at least partially self aware, when you express the desire to fast travel, they knock you unconscious and move you to the location. As the player, this appears as a black loading screen, as time in the real world doesn’t matter to the game world too much, your characters perspective directly translates to time taken, so they are out cold, and when they awaken, it appears only a moment has passed for you, the player,but the character spent a long time out.

@@KynMites yes actually its fitting that you mentioned that because the reason why they survive was actually attributed to them being paralyzed. well not paralyzed but unconscious due to fainting, because their bodies were completely relaxed which allowed them to more safely absorb the impact

Paralysis just makes you rock solid.
If you want to use this as a strategy for jumping from high places, you can paralyze yourself using netch jelly from Solstheim. Keep some in your inventory and eat it right before you hit the ground to negate all the fall damage.
This is basically just Spartan armor lock
Until you get the fear effect and explode on impact
Or you can use "Become Ethereal" shout and jump

@@nervsouly My old dog that died a few years ago was actually called Stump we named him years before skyrim came out and he was a lakeland terrier similar kind of dog to stump in the game, so to me Stump is immortalized in skyrim, and its also why i remember the dogs name.

Dovah Kiin gear up, we’re taking this fight to the surface.
I love the way it looked like Paarthurnax knew what was coming & took off to go get the Dragonborn wherever he landed & bring him back.
Also it would've been perfect if a guard or other npc just casually talked to the Dragonborn when he landed.
There's a mod that allows you to pick people/dragons up with telekenisis and throw them like that, it's super fun. Bandits come at you to take you're loot, just toss them into space.

@@D71219ONE You should try the fortify restoration loops with paralyze poisons or enchantments. I made a dagger with a paralysis enchant that lasts 15.6 actual years lol. It's dangerous not just to the enemy but the player, because even essential NPC's can be basically put into a coma.

I have been playing the game on my son’s Switch and have to remember when I finish to remove save data files. Playing another round again for the umpteenth time and one of the orcs on the side of the road in Falkreath asked for a glorious death of which I was willing to oblige. He then proceeded to raise up to the skies like he was being raptured by Talos himself . Became great target practice. 😂
That fight was so intense, he send himself to the beginning of his journey.

Tumbling down mountains while paralyzed or paralyzing other to make them tumble is always hilarious. It’s always interesting how there’s no fall damage either.
If I had to fathom a guess, I think Skyrim has built-in fall damage based on speed but certain actions like Whirlwind Sprint give i-frames to negate it.
