I'm not a religious person, but the church took my breath away. I think I spent 45 minutes just going in a circle! I'm enjoying your enthusiasm and I am so happy you seemed to enjoy your time at the convent.

Thank you for the amazing video about Convento de Cristo in Tomar. I've been there past thursday and it was very pleasant to remember my visit to the convent. You were lucky because you had the chance to visit the Castle since it's closed to the fire alert that was declared 2 weeks ago. And I look forward to wathc the Netflix show, Damsel (I didn't knew that it was filmed there). Cheers.
Hi Luis. It really is a beautiful place and we are so pleased we got to see most of it. I saw on the news that a lot of places have been closed lately due to fire alerts. The palaces in Sintra also. I also saw a news report recently that they are planning a big renovation project at the Convento do Cristo. They are spending a lot of money and working to preserve the building which is great. I imagine it could be covered in scaffolding while that is happening. We can't wait to see Damsel on Netflix also. What a great way to showcase one of Portugal's most impressive monuments. 👍 ~ Lee
You gave an absolute top tip! Always go to popular attractions early. We had the monastery in Alcobaça to ourselves because we arrived when it opened. When we got out, there were three or four tour groups going in. This one and shoulder seasons are what makes all the difference.
Yes, I totally agree, Todd. It's so good to beat the crowds. Tour groups tend to come in waves as well. The place can be swarming one minute and empty the next. I noticed that in the chapel of bones in Evora. Sometimes you just have to be patient and wait for the wave to pass. 😁👍 ~ Lee

Excellent camera work!! Let me add a bit of truth to this! Portugal means--Port of the Grail! Burgundy knights started this place (thanks to St,. Bernard of Clairvaux--the Templar Saint--read his 82 sermons from the Song of Songs)) to get away from the Church!--how ironic! And really Tomar is Tamar--offspring of the Black Virgin--the Widow's daughter--Jesus and Magdalene is Notre Dame--and the Mona Lisa--notice the streams behind her shoulders and the way the wound scarf across her heart is a continuation of stream and her look is one of Rosicrucian-Regenerated-Philosopher always of God's divine center! Da Vinci Code got it wrong--the offspring must also be regenerated within one's midst or depth's in God's Image (the Grail within), His Word. (Only that which comes down goes back up . . . ) And so, those 2 circular wells you shot--one with stairs going down--is symbolic of going within your depths at X marks the spot (heart center) and there one gives his will to the Spirit (the crooked serpent that wraps around you when you become one with your other self(Know thyself) to regenerate one by balancing the wet and the dry. And the head amidst the roots happens to us all when we get on the straight and narrow and are rooted to the tree of life and Wisdom (in our midst--read Genesis in a new way--they messed up by going in their MIDST to early to those rooted trees--headsup: those trees were not in that spiritual garden BUT IN THE MIDST OF THE EARTH!) when we are initiated and regenerated - which was and is the ancient mystery--in other words as St Augustine said. 'there has only been one religion since the beginning which is combining our consciousness with the Almighty's in His?Her Image the Word which was Sophia or Mary Magdalene to the Templars. Since they knew that we reincarnate to try the wheel of divine fortune many times--have to be one to know one - in this case a Templar Teutonic Knight Well that's enough for now! Hey, want to know the truth about the American Revolutionary War? How did my country America beat the SUPER POWER England. I almost have Russell Crowe interested in playing your General Howe. taking command . us is the story of how a few questing and engrailed Templar Master Masons RC operating in America gave the world the gift of Spiritual freedom! Thank you very much for asking and thinking of us. 🙏👍
Thank you so much for your very kind gift on BMAC. That is very generous of you and we really appreciate it. So glad you are enjoying our videos. 🙏😊🙏 Lee & Mandy
Since they knew that we reincarnate to try the wheel of divine fortune many times--have to be one to know one - in this case a Templar Teutonic Knight
Well that's enough for now! To find use the title above - all one word , no spaces or caps then dot us.
Very interesting! ~ Mandy
Hi Mandy and Lee. Thanks for your videos, we really enjoy them, saves our marriage. It would be greatly appreciated if you would recommend a long term rental rural accommodations in Northern/Central Portugal for 1 or 2 months, 2 adults. I know there's plenty on VRBO and AirBnB but we would like to get your take and recommendation. Thank you. Stay safe and keep well.

Thank you so much, Mike. Glad you enjoy our videos. We can't really help with information about long term rentals as we have had no experience with them. We've only been house sitting and staying in short term holiday type accommodation. I would suggest either approaching some of the local real estate agents for the places you are interested in or looking for Facebook groups for those regions also. They can be a really good source of information and an opportunity to make contacts. Best of luck with your search. 👍 ~ Lee
