This is not a triggered ability; it is a static ability. Therefore, there is no trigger to be missed when these attacking tokens are created. The tokens are attacking? The tokens have double strike. It doesn't matter how or when they were attacking, just that they *are* attacking.

Big same. Card advantage is so important and this one does such a better job because the impulsive draw is not limited the to same turn.

For sure. At least nowadays it's not that uphill to cast with all of the colorless land-based ramp effects in the format now.
