Since you purchased one, could you answer a couple of questions? In terms of the heated front seats.....do they heat up quickly and how is the heat intensity. I guess there are 3 heat levels. I ask because my wife has a bad back and the heat really helps. Thanks

Hey Chris I picked up my 2025 Honda CRV EX-L yesterday I must say I love it and I’ve been watching your videos they’ve been great and very helpful I appreciate you doing that but I was wondering about the side mirrors do they fold in manually only?
My wife and I just traded in our 2018 Touring for this one. There have been some nice improvements in comparison such as more sensors but also some features taken away. Time will tell if we will miss them. I think we might. Fog lights are no longer there. The rear seat release levers in the cargo area are now tie downs. The hands free cargo door open feature is gone. The integrated garage door opener overhead is gone. These were features we used regularly. It makes no sense to us that they were eliminated. The engine bay looks stripped down. Most notable is the missing Earth Dreams center cover. No big deal. I like the cosmetic upgrades on the outside and inside. Price point was a couple grand higher in our case. We had to really haggle to get a deal we thought was fair. The market is slowly correcting but Honda is definitely trying to phase into a Hybrid and EV only product. I appreciate the hybrids but my wife is convinced the battery route is actually worse for the environment. The mpg gain with the hybrid vs our gas vehicle did not seem that much different. In our case, we live in a rural area. Maybe hybrids are best for city driving. I really hope Honda isn’t trying to fix what isn’t broken.
Thank you! We do love it. It is a great vehicle. Overall, the improvements help to lessen the impact of the missing items. The cabin is more quiet than previous generations. The sound system sounds a little better. The Sensing is smarter and not as sensitive as before. And I think the engine and CVT might just be slightly more in harmony with each other. We are very pleased with it.
very helpful ... but i recommend this is played back at 0.75 speed because this guy talks too fast and lets words flow into each other too much. just got the 2025 exl and these tips pretty much the same as for the '24.

Good Intro video - however, you talked sooo fast it was difficult to follow your narrative. We oldies got lost some of the time. Hope you slow down a bit on your other videos? Thanks for covering so much in this video. I may just get another CR-V EX-L instead of the MDX which I've been currently testing and researching. Love my 2010 CR-V E-L, has all of 64K miles on it. Where is the compass direction that used to be on the dash near the temperature, which would show N, S, E, W. Now you have to go into a compass page that takes up the whole screen

Purchased 2024 crv Ex-L last month. One thing I have noticed is the windshield wipers drag on the windshield and I’m not sure if it’s only on my car. I also dislike that I have to turn off the Idle stop button cause I hate the sound it makes when I’m at a stop.

I used an 8gb thumb drive, formatted to Fat32 and added a couple of jpg photos (with a long side of only 1800px. Any chance you could do a short video about. I have tried and tried but no success. The manual isn't helpful or I'm not looking at the correct page.

@jenniferyork9364 The "blind spot delete" was due to the chip shortage, and for some reason, American Honda decided that we the features to cut or reduce the availability of.

@jdagreek i remember helping a couple in my first year at Randy Kuehl Honda. Trading in a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid at 315K miles on the original Hybrid battery. Thats was just their experience with it.
Can you please let know Honda that the puny horn sound and basic rims are making some of us to stay with the previous gen. Were can we leave feedback? The design is great but not everything was an upgrade from previous gen.
Hi! I just bought a 2024 EX-L and got weather tech mats for everywhere but the cargo area doesn’t seem to fit. We got the “Lower fit” version which doesn’t fit underneath that lip behind the seats. Wondering if weather tech sized it wrong or we are doing it wrong, but it’s frustrating that it sags in the middle because we have to lay the back end on the top of that lip in order for it to actually be in the car and not hanging out. Any idea on how it is supposed to fit? The other mats all fit perfectly!
I can definitely understand the frustration there with the aftermarket options because the may not always fit as tight as you would like. Hi, do you have a tutorial on how to auto fold the side mirror when you lock the vehicle using the remote? I can’t seem to find that set up in the settings.
They got rid of the cargo area handles to flip the seats down. My wife has the 2018 in this trim and we use them often. Who wants to walk around when you are in parking lot sandwiched between two cars? 6 years newer and going with less features but it’s still a good vehicle just disappointing. Would trade the wireless charger for flip down seats from the back corded is more reliable and doesn’t matter much when you have apple CarPlay interface. We have a 2018 CRV touring and love it. It has everything! Loved this detailed information about this vehicle. Noticed the sunglasses holder didn’t have the mirror to see the kids in the back seat…why would they do away with that? Love the automatic windshield wipers and headlights on our CRV touring but this model must not have those features. Wouldn’t miss the kick feature to open & close the tailgate. We’re 75 and 76 and try to keep both our feet on the ground.
Honda should make 2.5 litre non turbo, which was reliable instead of 1.5 litre turbo , I drive some suv 1.5 turbo the response are not good beside it's little noisy, I think we need to pay more for maintenance in future
If they left the 2.4 engine, they would sale lot more as the 1.6 engine turbo is always run full power and turbo do not last. Both friends needs a new turbo within 10 months.
American Honda does NOT have any parking assisted feature. This trim does have low-speed braking control, parking sensors, blindspot, cross traffic system, traffic sign recognition, and plus all the standard Honda sensing features, which I mentioned in the video. The only difference that I have seen so far between the 23 and 24 is two USB-C ports in the rear seats.

I didn't have too much time to compare them, but you are correct. It now seems that the EX and higher trims now have two USB-C in the rear seats. That was a common shared concern/feedback about the 23 models didn't.

I watched this clip to see anything different, but I saw nothing new except 2 USB - C ports for the rear seat passengers like you mentioned above. I checked Honda dealership, 2 USB-C ports only around $150. So you can buy 2023 version and install that ports so the price cheaper than buying 2024 version
@bnguyen8339 correct, the 2023 year models the USB-C weren't standard but could be installed at your local Honda dealer. I haven't noticed any other changes yet. I'm just waiting for more inventory to see 👀

I'm assuming because American Honda doesn't want to. They used to have their 2.4L i4 on the CRVs and many other models but have been replaced. Guessing for their more fuel efficiency 1.5L turbo. Honda does tons of engines from yard mowers to jet planes.
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 no. She had a civic before and I have owned several Hondas. She does like this one a lot though and coming from a Jeep Grand Cherokee that says a lot. It drives nice and gets great gas milage.
Honda deleted so many previous standard features on the new CRV and is intentionally limiting availability to create scarcity.and raise prices. Good riddance Honda.
This is my 3rd CR-V. Why did Honda change the horn on the '24 model? It's such a weak sounding horn. And since I'm leasing, I'm not gonna put on after market products. It's a toot, not a horn loud enough to warn other cars or pedestrians.

Chris, how can I switch the left gauge on my brand new 2025 CRV EX-L to stay in something other than "maintenance mode" ?
It should be out of maintenance mode once the Honda Dealership PDI it. If not, contact them to take it out, which should be a quick process

Wondering if weather tech sized it wrong or we are doing it wrong, but it’s frustrating that it sags in the middle because we have to lay the back end on the top of that lip in order for it to actually be in the car and not hanging out. Any idea on how it is supposed to fit? The other mats all fit perfectly!
I can definitely understand the frustration there with the aftermarket options because the may not always fit as tight as you would like. You can see if your local dealership has one from Honda that you can purchase and maybe see how it would fit before buying it.

Is there a control/button to turn off the Auto Start/Stop feature?
Yes, you can disable the Idle-stop feature every time you get in the vehicle. I actually have a video showing how.

Hi, do you have a tutorial on how to auto fold the side mirror when you lock the vehicle using the remote? I can’t seem to find that set up in the settings.

They got rid of the cargo area handles to flip the seats down. My wife has the 2018 in this trim and we use them often. Who wants to walk around when you are in parking lot sandwiched between two cars? 6 years newer and going with less features but it’s still a good vehicle just disappointing. Would trade the wireless charger for flip down seats from the back corded is more reliable and doesn’t matter much when you have apple CarPlay interface. We have a 2018 CRV touring and love it. It has everything! Loved this detailed information about this vehicle. Noticed the sunglasses holder didn’t have the mirror to see the kids in the back seat…why would they do away with that? Love the automatic windshield wipers and headlights on our CRV touring but this model must not have those features. Wouldn’t miss the kick feature to open & close the tailgate. We’re 75 and 76 and try to keep both our feet on the ground.

Honda should make 2.5 litre non turbo, which was reliable instead of 1.5 litre turbo , I drive some suv 1.5 turbo the response are not good beside it's little noisy, I think we need to pay more for maintenance in future

If they left the 2.4 engine, they would sale lot more as the 1.6 engine turbo is always run full power and turbo do not last. Both friends needs a new turbo within 10 months.

Does the 2023 CR-V EX L have a low-speed automatic reverse braking system?
American Honda does NOT have any parking assisted feature. This trim does have low-speed braking control, parking sensors, blindspot, cross traffic system, traffic sign recognition, and plus all the standard Honda sensing features, which I mentioned in the video. The only difference that I have seen so far between the 23 and 24 is two USB-C ports in the rear seats.

I didn't have too much time to compare them, but you are correct. It now seems that the EX and higher trims now have two USB-C in the rear seats. That was a common shared concern/feedback about the 23 models didn't.

I watched this clip to see anything different, but I saw nothing new except 2 USB - C ports for the rear seat passengers like you mentioned above. I checked Honda dealership, 2 USB-C ports only around $150. So you can buy 2023 version and install that ports so the price cheaper than buying 2024 version
@bnguyen8339 correct, the 2023 year models the USB-C weren't standard but could be installed at your local Honda dealer. I haven't noticed any other changes yet. I'm just waiting for more inventory to see 👀

If kia can put a 2.5l i4 in a Sportage why can't Honda put one in crv?
I'm assuming because American Honda doesn't want to. They used to have their 2.4L i4 on the CRVs and many other models but have been replaced. Guessing for their more fuel efficiency 1.5L turbo. Honda does tons of engines from yard mowers to jet planes.

Correct, it doesn't fold down flat like the previous generation because now the rear seats can recline much further now

No 360 camera, just multiview cameras. You get the built-in Satellite-Linked Navigation System only on the Sport Touring Hybrid

Nope. The LX is your entry level, then to EX, which bumps up to the EXL.

This is my 3rd CR-V. Why did Honda change the horn on the '24 model? It's such a weak sounding horn. And since I'm leasing, I'm not gonna put on after market products. It's a toot, not a horn loud enough to warn other cars or pedestrians.
American Honda doesn't have a setting for the horn.
Yep, no height adjustment on the passenger seat - Honda loses thousands of sales from this stupid move. We would have bought at least two Hondas in the last 5 years....IF the seat adjusted up
