I dont get to play many games because of pricing, and for the latter I probably will not have a ps5 any time soon. But if could get it, you bet your ass I am playing the shit out of that Plus collection...

The new PS+ offer is a good start, but they really have to beef it up quickly if they wanna compete with the GamePass. I do agree that Sony is killing the Series X already with what they showed yesterday, though. Their (timed) exclusives are just much better than anything Microsoft has shown.

I've been an Xbox guy for as much of my life as I can remember. All of these crazy ass exclusives on the PS5 are making me switch consoles this time around. I just don't see xbox competing with these titles
It actually does make sense that 2 is coming out so quickly relative to 1. They really struggled with getting a satisfying combat system going for the remake, which was why it took so long to come together. Now that they have a solid, enjoyable foundation to build off of, they can avoid that this time around.
God...The music used in the FFXVI trailer felt like they knew this was a coming back to form for them. The Crystal Prelude, the main Final Fantasy theme, the lower fantasy art style. It feels familiar, it feels new.

399 for the digital edition literally just killed the Series X since it combines the full power of the ps5 and a lower price tag close to what the Series S offers. Series X consoles be dusting in shelves this holiday season.

They showed off a fantastic looking DMC game, a fantastic looking Souls game, and a Final Fantasy game that looks like an immaculate hybrid of the two.

This new direction of RE is very...odd, but RE has been shown to be a very dynamic series, almost in the same vein as like, Sonic or Mario in some cases (probably leaning towards Sonic in terms of execution, lol) But I'm glad that at least 1 they're keeping to old lore and characters, like with Chris, so it's not like it's retconned. And 2 it looks like people (like Max) are really excited about 8 because they are optimistic about how it could improve on the themes and style of 7, despite that game having its own weirdness and issues, there was some good concepts and could really lay the foundation for future games. Which is what I believe everyone is optimistic about.

I didn't understand that either. As if the vast majority of players first check how the creator's Twitter feed is holding up or are part of the lynch mobs over there. Most people just want to play a game to relax, not make their lives even more negative.
I think even out of the people who do care, the gaming community is a bit different. There's more of an understanding that, unlike with a book series, JKR's politics aren't the fault of the devs and people who just wanted to make a great game. WB also said she had 0 to do with it.

I personally have never owned an Xbox but many of my friends have, and most of them have had at least one big problem with costumer service in the 360 times. I've always been a bigger fan of PS because of their exclusives and I honestly believe that sony as a videogame company has always been more consistent and has made overall better decisions regarding games than Microsoft.

Xbox do have exclusives, but they hardly stand out and the ones that do are mostly from the mass purchase of indie studios. Not to say that those are bad, not in the least. Sony just has an amazing track record regarsing exclusives.

They showed off a fantastic looking DMC game, a fantastic looking Souls game, and a Final Fantasy game that looks like an immaculate hybrid of the two.
When I heard “you must prepare yourself” THATS when I lost my shit, it’s a shame I lost it at the end, but I was pretty much excited for everything and I’m glad they finally showed WB instead of it just being a leaked video, when they never announced ANYTHING, I just chucked it up to it being something someone put a LOT of work into it.. also, resident evil looks like resident evil 4 lmao

This new direction of RE is very...odd, but RE has been shown to be a very dynamic series, almost in the same vein as like, Sonic or Mario in some cases (probably leaning towards Sonic in terms of execution, lol)
But I'm glad that at least 1 they're keeping to old lore and characters, like with Chris, so it's not like it's retconned.
And 2 it looks like people (like Max) are really excited about 8 because they are optimistic about how it could improve on the themes and style of 7, despite that game having its own weirdness and issues, there was some good concepts and could really lay the foundation for future games.
Which is what I believe everyone is optimistic about.
