The good old days of Nickelodeon. Nick Arcade, Weinerville, Welcome Freshman, Fifteen, Clarissa Explains It All, Salute Your Shorts, Double Dare and GUTS. I miss the 90’s.
Rocko, Ren & Stimpy it was good times.
Only shows I've never heard of (or at least don't remember) are Fifteen & Welcome Freshman, but the rest, oh man, talk about throwback...
Right! Take me back to my ERA
Legends of the Hidden Temple with all the episodes in Season 1 from the very beginning on Olmec's Temple.
I don't remember Fifteen! That is the only one on your list I don't know. Nickelodeon had so many good shows back in the day! Don't forget these other shows. You got Clarissa already but I also remember Pete and Pete, Roundhouse, Are You Afraid of The Dark, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Kablam, Wild & Crazy Kids, What Would You Do? You Can't Do That On Television are a few more that come to mind. Those are not in order by date so you may not have heard of all of them but they were all excellent shows!
I used to watch this show every morning. I randomly remembered this show as an adult and no one knew what I was talking about, so I started to think it was all in my head. No one believed me. Then I find it and all the nostalgia comes back and now I know I'm not crazy and it really does exist 🤣🤣🤣
everytime i bring this up no one knows what im talking about haha
You and me both. I just recently learned what the name was. Brings back so many memories.
This happened with another 90s show Emmet Freedy
I just saw a TikTok of this girl using these tiny hands and it triggered a memory of this show…and here I am 😂
My parents didn’t like this show (the name) they also strangely didn’t love rugrats, and Ren and Stimpy was forbidden (which was fine, as I personally am not a fan of that animation or comedy style) my dad LOVED Doug though, and I myself liked Real Monsters. My brother and I both watched Avatar when it aired ❤️
I love seeing the old commercials
AutomaticArtist I know those are great, it’s such a different time now right lol
There’s something about watching old school shows with the commercials that really add to the experience. The nostalgia is REAL... and it’s off the charts right now! Some commercials are classics and easily remembered, it’s the ones that aren’t really remembered that really helps add to the 90’s feel and helps unlock memories. Seeing what was new back then and how it was advertised is awesome! Seeing the commercials really gives you a sense of just how much things have changed. I’d give just about anything to go back to those days.
Random question but does anyone remember Stick Stickly? Lol I even remember the little jingle with his address. I’ve gotten into conversations about 90’s nostalgia with people but no one ever remembers him, I can’t figure out why... especially since that jingle was super catchy 🤣🤣
@@SmoresySmores Omg yes I loved Stick Stickly lol all I can remember of that jingle was "New York City, New York State 10108" lol and Stick Stickly's You Pick I can't remember much of that little jingle.
I don't know why this makes me feel like a kid all over again and I don't care. Thank you for this.
Kyle Smith you are welcome! Special thanks to Meredith on archive :) I love spreading the word of Weinerville!
OMG this straight up makes me miss the 90s... playing Sega and watching Nickelodeon with not a care in the world...
Does anyone.. Someone... Remember the show "The Tomorrow People"... Ahh so good... Was all about teleporting and telepathy. How I loved these Nick shows❤️❤️🤗 Pete and Pete... Welcome Freshman, ... And of course, You can't do that on television!!! Snick was everything @8pm... Ugh...!! Makes me smile☺️🥰
Yes, I remember the Tomorrow People. I used to enjoy it. It didn't stay on long from what I remember. I think they were in the UK or Australia. I remember others like Roundhouse, Hey Dude, Guts, Wild & Crazy Kids, What Would You Do, my fav was Alex Mack
We remember the Tomorrow People. It initially caught my attention because the redhead kid named Megabyte was one of the teleporters, and I had recognized him from both Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark. It's a criminally underrated show (all 5 miniseries that make up the 90s revival of it). Hopefully the topics we cover help others remember too. We even got to talk to Kristian Schmid about The Origin Story arc, which was a lot of fun.
My childhood! I really love that you left the commercials in. 10/10!
I referenced this show today while on a date. A first date, I might add. I thought she wasn’t going to get the reference, but she burst out laughing and told me she got it.
You lucked out. lol
She’s cool then
What reference did ya make? Lol
80s and 90s were so funky. Different world these days.
There was a paradigm shift after 2001
How I for one miss the good old days.
Yes. Less funky.
14:25 That kid's reaction to getting soaked with a bucket of water was just awesome. :D
I love that you left the commercials in. Such a blast from the past
Indeed.
I had forgotten so much about this show. I used to watch it all the time.
I'm still waiting if Paramount+ picks up the show to stream, i know without the cartoon segments it'll be 12 to 13 minutes, but you'll be able to zip by all 68 episodes!
@@HumblyArtsy We don't have Paramount+
“Camp idontwanna we hold you in our heart. And when we think about you, it makes me wanna fart.”
“ITS I HOPE WE NEVER PART NOW GET IT RIGHT OR PAY THE PRICE!”
retroflashbackdude Lol great stuff
I loved that show! Salute your shorts ❤❤❤
God Bless Camp Anawana and the maniacs dwelling there.
@@HumblyArtsy which cartoons did ratville bring ya?
The thing came apart...
The days of live studio audiences, improv and dedicated kids shows, man what the hell happened 😢
Dan Schneider
@@tapset Well, Dan's gone now because of controversies. Maybe Paramount+ might take a crack at it instead?
Corporate greed hoarding money instead of investing it.
Fun as a kid.... Nightmare fuel as an adult.
Holy shit! I remember this se how as a kid. Nickelodeon back in the 90's rocked 👍🏼
Thank you for sharing this. It brings me back to 1993 , just like it was yesterday
I remember the show, but very little about it.
I forgot how they showed old school reruns when they went to cartoon time. That was such a great idea: Introduce the new generation and entertain mom n pop, as lots of households were 1 TV back then.
Just an overall unique and engaging show that was really entertaining for all demographics.
and to note: thanks so much for posting this, commercials and all.
(funny how we WANT to see the commercials now :D )
I enjoyed my show when I was younger! All I got to say is that Nickelodeon is not the same anymore
I absolutely loved this show as a kid & love it to this day . A damn shame it never cought on with The audience
B_side 86 the problem was it just premiered at the wrong time :( it WAS very popular, more so that Weinerville pretty much was all over the Nickelodeon network when it was around. The problem was according to Marc the show was in talks for a third season, but Nickelodeon just ghosted the show and fazed it out. Nickelodeon at the time in the 80s til 1993 was targeting 3 - 6 year olds and in 1994 to present they started targeting 6 to 10 year olds and Marc Weiner’s show just didn’t fit in the new direction Nickelodeon was moving in so they just cancelled the show instead of letting Marc and his crew retool the show. It’s sad really. However at that time I think live action shows at Nick Studios didn’t last that long. “Legends” got cancelled the same way, without the crew knowing they weren’t coming back. If Weinerville would’ve premiered maybe in the late 80s or early 90s it probably would’ve had more of a chance to continue before Nickelodeon started to become for older. At least that’s what I think
@@HumblyArtsy I loved it, and I was 10 when it came out. lol
I am about to turn 33, and here I am laughing out loud at this silly show from my childhood..
IDK if the show is good, or I've finally lost it
It was good, creative
I completely forgot about this show until today... its so freaking weird lol but I love it! And nothing beats watching old commercials!
When cable was worth having 😩 man I miss those days 😭
This is when Nickelodeon was at it rise of becoming popular along with MTV even the commercials 😱 tells you the time of what was going on
Wow what a flashback. This was like 26 years ago.
This is even better because it has old classic cartoons. I love Mr. Magoo, he's funny
Weinerville was so awesome!!!!
And funny.
I almost can't watch this stuff. The memories, feelings, nostalgia, it's all too much.
Simpler better times
I remember all of this. The show, the commercials, the hair styles. I had a couple of those Hot Wheels and McDonald’s Batman toys.
This is the earliest Nick show I remember seeing as a little kid until I stopped seeing it air around the time I started first grade.
I have been trying to figure out the name of this show for years.. slightly remembered it but know I loved watching it! Thank you for the nostalgia trip!!
This explains so much about why people my age and I are the way that we are and why we hate the way things are now.
I completely forgot about this show...Thank you
I was just a wee little kid...but oh, the wonderful memories...
Who only watches this for the classic cartoons?
I miss commercials like these. Really made highlighted my day.
Christopher Hager so glad to do it for you :) totally makes my day too to make people happy :)
i am so happy for the commercials in this
Wasn't expecting to see a Robocop Vs Terminator commercial!
Man I wish I got that Nintendo deal! I can't believe this show actually holds up better than my memory of it
So exciting to see more of the episodes found!! Thank you for uploading!!
I remember watching this before school when I was in elementary school..lol
OmG THANKS FOR UPLOADING! 90s Nickelodeon 4Ever! 90s kids 4Ever!
I'll never get tired of the beginning. Weiner! Weiner! Weiner!
I'm a cop ... The lady " What do you want " , the cop " A man " , the lady " me too " 😂😂😂 oh no she didn't
This definitely brings me back..... damn
this is the kind of show i am going to make someday a puppet tv shows that also shows cartoons in the same half hour.
Its been ages since I was watching this as a wee tot
This brings back some memories
This show was so inexplicable
It’s not for everyone but i love it, it is Nickelodeon’s experimental time and shows great creativity
Good lord, I don't remember that many toy and cereal commercials when I was a kid in the 90s.
....😢😢 the 90's...how I miss theeee!!!
Fun fact the giant pink monster puppet costume in McDonald's commercial is now at the Marie Hitchcock puppet theater
FIVE MARIO GAMES?! Not a bad deal.
I miss this show like all the time
I don’t know why but this show gave me so much nightmares when I was a kid. Now that I’m seeing it again since the 90s, it’s still pretty disturbing lol.
I'm glad I'm a 90s kid great memories.
What happened to our America when we had great shows.
I love this show so awesome
RIGHT IN THE NOSTALGIA
I used to imitate the wienerwienerwiener alarm by spinning an overturned glass cup on a spoon. Once it flew off, and broke on the floor and my mother had to clean it up.
She was not happy.
The golden age of Nick 80s-early 90s
The 90’s were thee best!!!
So were the 80's, where I was born in.
@@dreamguardian8320 of course! I’m an 80’s baby!
Man this show seems cringe now, but I loved it so much as a kid!!!
my parents actually let me watch this
Meghann Robinson I watched this I must’ve been in 1st grade.... now I’m like 31 watching and thinking “if this came out now I would not be letting my son watch” 😂😂
Captain Bob and his props 😂😂😂 Carrot Top was somewhere in the Audiance taking notes 😂 ....
I know right lol
I remember this episode when I was a kid
Am I the only one who Loves that Nickelodeon Logo Spinning Top?❤️
Nick Sullivan nope! I love it too
It's so cool! You're not alone!
omg i remember gettin that snes deal and the game took like 14 weeks to arrive Lol i had a sega by the time it came lol
I have been trying to find somewhere to watch this from the very first episode and haven't had any success yet. Anyone know where I can find them? I was surprised to find out this show only ran one season. My brother and I loved this show when we were kids!
Nick and disney channel back n dynamic was the best
Nick and Disney were truly great channels to watch back in the good old days, unlike now.
This show used to creep me the hell out
Omg this wasn't a fever dream!
Super wild wacky action bike ass commercials
Back when TV was good
Agreed.
So that’s the voice of map
A crossover between this show and SALUTE YOUR SHORTS?
That's what it sounded like. Why didn't they show us that?
Anybody got the season 2 episodes "Broken Weinerizer" and "Variety Show or Sitcom"?
tpirman1982 there was an eBay auction in March I tried to win that had the Variety Show episode, but lost. Now the person that won it hasn’t uploaded it ... but we will just wait til it surfaces I guess
@@HumblyArtsy I think the winner of that episode should do so. I swear, if there was a DVD boxset of the full series, I'd definitely buy a copy.
tpirman1982 I’ve been sending messages and tweets to NickRewind. But no word, however thanks to archive we have all the episodes for the first season!
@@HumblyArtsy All that's left is season 2.
I remember this episode since I was a Little Trav
Travis Bost haha year sir
Yes sir lol
It was the old 90’s
Tim "Timmy" Borquez wear Brobee Shirt is Yellow from Yo Gabba Gabba S02E20 Clean as Marc Weiner
This show was so Disturbing! I had nightmares about that big ole head!😂
My childhood
I’m 25. I thought the memories I had of this shit were figments of my imagination. What the hell
It aired the year you were born dude
Yeah but the final episode aired in 1996 so it’s possible
You and me bro, I was 8 when this was on the telly.
Nope they're real
Do the final weinerville episode including the victcom musical and season 2 and more
Hey man! Thanks for the comment, sorry I don’t have the episodes:( I upload them as soon as someone has it available, sadly we are waiting for more season 2 episodes to surface. However there is no news about them :( sorry maybe soon I hope
that 2nd cartoon; something tells me Cousin Maggie can rival Witch Hazel for craziest cartoon witch, at least in that episode
Also does anyone else remember stick stickly from Nickelodeon? Lol
shellyedmb117
write to me, stick stickley, P. O. BOX 963, New York City, New York State, 1-0-1-0-8
I do
Before Anthony Weiner, there was Mark Weiner lol
27:29 Made up my own CBS v/o:
Roy Rowan: Sunday on the CBS Sunday Night Movies, the IMF is going rogue after they get implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin. Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner star in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol at 8/7 central and mountain. Now stay tuned as the babies take a look at their ancestors to learn more about who they are on Jim Henson's Muppet Babies, next.
Epic
I remember that big head lol
Huffy!!!!
When Nick was good.
Zap wap? Lololol
The orginal wap
I suspended a LOT of disbelief while watching this as a young kid. I feel like I imagined people really got weinerized
Robocop vs Terminator was epic even though we all know Robocop is no match for Terminator
The game sucked
A simpler time.
