100% agree with your take on sounds in games. I love the sounds of Sea of Thieves, it's so immersive and so relaxing ! Sometimes I just want to play the game to hear the relaxing sounds. Well of course it also helps that the game is beautiful 🤣 !

First person definitely gives me mirrors edge vibes. I agree with what you said about sound and audio. They differently immerse you in the world.

I'll take good sound over good graphics any time, but good graphics make it easy easier to sell a game

New here, but love the immersivity of the sounds. The breath is a bit loud, but other than that I love this :)

Nice work, man. Even if, as you said, you still have a lot of fixing to do, I'm very impressed with what you achieved in one weeks time. And, as a software developer myself, I know that dedication is one of the keys to success. Keep up the good work!

That's awesome, maybe some footstep shuffles, like feet scraping on the ground every once in a while could give more depth? Just a thought. Awesome work dude

You should add some random variation to the footstep sounds, keep the volume in a range instead of a single float and add some multipliers based on the characters speed. It sounds much more natural that way 👍

Very interesting, I would like to do a game like that too ^^

It's definitely fun but the parkour system is very complicated and finicky, I'm having a lot of trouble polishing out the feel, the bugs and all the IK issues 😅

@@AlsoFloky Did you had a look at the parkour pack on the Unreal Engine Marketplace ? Maybe they could be interesting to complete your own parkour system ?
