Lee child created my favourite character in jack reacher and his books are amazing. Seems like a genuine down to earth man. Hope he never kills reacher off one day. I think they got it wrong in casting tom cruise in the movies but if you watch them as if thats how reacher is built size wise then the movies are fab. But hands down on the casting for the new amazon series reacher as this role was made for alan Richardson. He kills that role as reacher. Keep up the great pods guys.
Q. “How much do you value legacy?” A. “Not at all…” And then he eloquently, ruthlessly, unpretentiously undercuts the whole idea while not making the interviewer look too silly. So well done.
I cringe when he asks the questions. They’re all so contrived towards the “high performance“ grift. But Child graciously takes them seriously and gives such unpretentious, down-to-earth advice. The interviewer was right at the end. It was without any ego.
What a sleeper great GET. Amazing. Thanks so much.
Absolutely! Job suitcase grunt.
This is probably one of the most down to earth interviews I've watched so far. What a great guy, so humble
