I decided not to factory reset my 2 pedals. I went into the BB and RC5 settings just to midi synch OUT on BB, and midi synch IN on RC-5. Maybe the settings weren't necessary, but I did so, nonetheless. I bought the 2 cables you suggested from Sweetwater (the Singular Sound proprietary cable, and the BOSS midi cable). Worked first time through.

Hi, can anyone help, I've got an RC5 to play my own original guitar backing tracks, so guitar, bass and drums live with an added guitar track. With this set up how can I use a click track for the drummer to keep in time with the RC5 bits? Anyone know what's best to do?

So when you say locked it is synched? Meaning that the tempo is synched. So you can loop rhythms to the beat on the beat buddy? Great subject but wish you would have shown more about actually playing with them together.

Yes, I tried it. It doesn't work alone. The midi end is 5 pin and the Beatbuddy out is a smaller diameter 6 pin. You need the Beatbuddy cable to pair with the Boss Bmidi 535.

Not real clear on connecting beatbuddy cable to RC5 cable....does the RC5 cable connect to the IN or OUT BeatBuddy cable?

It goes from the OUT of the BeatBuddy to the IN on the RC-5

@@clintlucas7604 I'm not quite understanding the question. The BeatBuddy connects to the midi breakout cable. The out of the midi breakout cable is connected to the cable that goes to the 1/8" RC-5 midi in.
