- Welcome back to the Dream Automotive channel! This week we've got this awesome Rallye Red FK8 Type R in with us for a brake refresh. The owner of this car decided that rather than replacing with OEM parts, he would upgrade to EBC 2 piece front discs, EBC slotted rear discs and EBC BlueStuff pads, which are all great alternatives. To finish the upgrades off, he also picked up a set of Dream Automotive Braided Brake Lines to provide a consistent and improved pedal feel.
If you think it's time to upgrade your Type R's brakes, you can pick up the EBC Brakes kit featured in todays video here: bit.ly/3O9gcxc

Looks awesome maybe on the shopping list when I need them on my fk2
Perfect timing
Thinking about it, i wish i'd have gone for the two piece disks on my FK8 rather than the EBC one piece set.
Love the videos!!
Thanks Jake! Glad you're enjoying them 🙌
Great video but I'm really curious why if this was a performance brake upgrade you would bother with Honda brake fluid as opposed to say Motul RBF600 which is much better not expensive assume Honda fluid costs more anyway?
They offer both options.
Perhaps but that doesn't answer my question why anyone would bother putting Honda fluid in 😂 if this was a performance upgrade it's not as if Motul or alike is going to cost more either
@aidie666 honda stuff is more then sufficient and doesn't require the shorter intervals like race fluid. Clearly you know a lot less than you think between the properties of brake fluid.
Hi sir... may i know the part no for fk8 ebc blue stuff front brake pad? Thanks...
