That walnut is a great color but I think the new Houston green looks good too.

Numzaam is one of the hardest boots to break in. Mink oil will help.

It’s a lot of leather to break in, they look great and get comfortable over time .

Re your comments right around the four minute mark - those strips of leather you're tucking the tongue into _are_ the integrated kilties.
The general point of a kiltie is to place a layer between the back of the eyelet and the tongue to prevent the eyelet from abrading the tongue. There are other reasons to use em but that's the traditional justification.
Those extra flaps of leather achieve the same thing while being integrated to the boot. People have also achieved the same thing by gluing leather to the back of the facings.
So, by tucking your tongue into the kilties you're defeating their purpose (because you're putting the tongue up against the rear of the eyelets again); but imo kilties are largely superfluous anyway so do whatever you prefer. Happy trails!

I got into a pair of Numzaans in early January when they did the early release. Absolutely love them. Wear them at least 3 days of the week. The veg tan leather holds up extremely well. They're definitely on the heavy side, but don't really notice it on your feet.
The new green ones on pre-order are beautiful. And the bronco leather on the AR's...wow!
Good to see someone else in SD wearing the Jim Greens.
