No lie, I wonder if they allow autotune
@@monkeyyt6800 I did a bit of research last night and I discovered that autotune is used by some shows for some people, BUT it has negative effects as well - a) it creates a metallic or robotic effect at times and b) where the note changes unpredictably it can get the desired note wrong and make it out of tune, perversely - so they would not want to apply it to someone already in tune enough to be acceptable.
@@greatbriton8425 that would explain why Norway is so much better in auditions than other countries.
@@monkeyyt6800 Unfortunately, nice as the idea sounds, I don't buy it. There are no telltale effects.

That’s a lot of auto tune… you can hear it. Probably just some mild pitch correction but they didn’t hide it very well
