Got mine yesterday. I really like it but the lack of crawler reverse and the super slow reverse speed is a bummer. You did not even mention those two things which for a crawler are big problems in my book. Given the great modulation of it, it is a shame that we will have to change electronics to get crawler reverse and a proper reverse speed.
I found that whem you select high speed mode, that reverse is also quicker. When low speed mode is selected, there's almost no reverse. Did you watch my mods video?
Yes, high speed is 'faster' but should be the same speed as forward but it is significantly slower. I've watched your mods, I had already done the steering mod and I am cutting my foams in the 'star' cut instead of removing them completely and have a couple sets of Injora tires I plan to try. Some more weight low and we'll see how it does.
Hi Hof, great review, your videos are very useful. I bought an Austarhobby AX-8560. Please, where can I buy a front and rear axle upgrade kit with metal gears? I want to have those spare parts in case the plastic gears break since the motor is powerful. If there are no complete spare axles, is it possible to buy just the metal gears? Do you have any links or specifications please? Thank you
