Nice and entertaining as always. Is the Ooty hairpin bend route open for cars also? Last I heard, it was allowed only 1 way, not sure which way...
It is open to cars....but just for ascent towards Ooty. Return journey is different road. We did not take that route since we can via Coimbatore

On Highways 90 to 100 kmph = ~45 kmpl,110 to 120 kmph = ~40 kmpl
