Thank you so much for teaching these. This is the level I need as a beginner.
You're very welcome! ☺️
I'm turning 70 and just starting. Keeps my mind and body moving. Thank you, you are a great teacher.

You are the best I've tried so far. I really feel like I'm dancing! Thank you.
Thank you so much! Feeling like a dancer is the ultimate goal!!! 🤗💜🥰
Just learning tap in my “senior” years. Love these tutorials, good repetition and working from slow to faster. Thank you.
Thank you, Ruth! I teach a few weekly adult tap classes, and there are quite a few “seniors” who attend. I love getting to share tap dancing with adults. ☺️ Thank you for reaching out, and keep on dancing! 💜💜
Me also. I'm 57 and always wanted to tap luke Ginger and Fred.
Thank you so much for making this, I'm a vocalist auditioning for advanced entry in a musical theatre degree but I've never taken tap before and with Covid it's really difficult to find good online lessons. You're a brilliant teacher ♥️
I just wanted to thank you so much for these videos! I'm 41 and am going through an extremely tough time personally and doing these tap dances is one of the few things I enjoy right now and that make me feel joy.
I’m glad the videos are helpful. Hope things are looking up for you. 💜💜
This was a fun tutorial. I'll be practicing this one until I can memorize the steps. I think you're a great teacher. 😊
Thank you, Denise!! 🥰
Fantastic! I’ve just finished watching your tutorial and can’t wait to start learning this one. Loved learning the Adams Family. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🙌🤩

@@BeginnerDanceTutorials I'm 52. Its been 34 years since I did tap. I've been trying to remember the tap basics from primary exams up, I am currently trying to come up with a basic dance class plan for absolute beginners. Wish me luck:)
Just found this and it’s a brilliant tutorial 63, going on 64
Thank you!! 😊
It has been half a century since I took tap lessons. I saw a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movie -- and then found you. I ordered shoes today and I am excited. You are really a tremendous teacher. Where are you located?
I'm just seeing all your comments, Michelle - thank you! Your kind words are much appreciated, and I'm happy that you're enjoying the tutorials. 🥰 I'm located in Texas. 💜💜
@@BeginnerDanceTutorials I got the taps out of the box first time tonight and did this warmup with you. It was fun. I lived in Dallas when I was young.
So glad you had fun!
What tap shoes do you use here? They look and sound great
Hello! I’m wearing Bloch’s “Jason Samuel Smith” style. They’re a heavier tap shoe, which gives them a great sound. I’ve been very happy with them.
I’ve also heard great things about Bloch’s “Respect” style. They have a similar look, but they’re a less expensive option.
I believe both styles run small, so you’ll probably need to size up.
Hope this helps! 💜
Good except when dancing with music you can’t really see what’s going on with her feet. Need more close up Otherwise good!
Thanks, Carolyn! I recorded a second video with music that includes a close up view. Hope this helps! 💜 ruclips.net/video/HyaqCGWyzFc/видео.html
