Just quoting a raw piece of data doesn’t really make much sense in isolation. Over the last 10 years the figures have hardly changed, 2020 being an exception for obvious reasons. Raw data equally doesn’t account for reporting methods and their accuracy or lack of nor does it take into account the improvement in vehicle safety which has played a significant role in reducing road deaths. Your implication seems to be that these speed camera devices have been responsible for the reduction in fatalities and that isn’t the case. The matter is far more complicated.

These people were hauled up for it and threatened with impersonating police officers. Whichever way you slice it a civilian (even in the employ of the police) has not sworn an oath, has no powers of arrest and is no different than those bikers the police threatened with prosecution. You can't have it both ways, either employ real police to do the job or remove the police livery off the vans and clothing.
Not a police officer so civilian. Simple.
Excellent work! Love his pretend radio and nobody comes 🤣
Can I park my vehicle where money box is parked?
Off you pop is an amazing way to send them packing
Yet he didn't get sent packing.
Police staff are not sworn police officers, therefore should not be using a vehicle in Police livery, this is impersonating a police vehicle, therefore illegal.
Give your head a wobble. An inanimate object can't impersonate anything
He is a full-time working member of the constabulary, so is as much part of the police as any other employee. Any constabulary member can drive fleet vehicles for A to B duties.

It's got bugger all to do with road safety etc,it's all about collecting easy money.
Just what is the law now days? Is there any or is it made up as they go along????
Revenue raising not safety. Get rid of a few plods and that van and save the taxpayers some money.
Quality audit!! Good work mate
Well aye. Thats it do as your told
I love how you're acctually more effective than the van', with the ammount that slow down to tell you well done and good job !!! Brilliant keep it up!
This is why people have lost respect for the police.
The only thing that truly unites white and black people is that we both deeply distrust the police.
Why?
I'm no fan of the Police, but catching speeding drivers has reduced road deaths. In 1966, 7985 people were killed on the roads in the UK, the highest in peacetime . in 2019, the figure was 1870.
Easy, don’t get hit by a car.
The matter is far more complicated.
so many idiots are still baffled by bullsh*t
No one wore seat belts in 66, and cars were tin death traps.
I didn't know they could stop on the duel carriageway to make threats.
They can if they are the 'police'- nothing applies to them, lawless and untouchable.
‘I didn’t realise this was a car park’ at 2:22 was absolutely class!!🤣😂👍
Nice to see the face behind the revenue raising! Bet his family isn't proud of him!
I wouldn’t be surprised if he used to be a traffic warden..
And you tell people that it too do with safety!!! NO it isn't it a MONEY MAKING THING!!! DON'T believe them!!
This has nothing at all to do with safety but it does bring in revenue.
The man in the van looked , sounded and behaved just as I imagined he would. Theres always a snake ready to work for other snakes.
he looks like a sad little man that should be retired, what a waste of a life to sit in a van all day stealing money from people to give to the government, and then have the balls to lie about they have the right to park anywhere ! hope his children enjoy xmas paid for with other peoples misery
Great to see you condoning speeding drivers 👍
Go back to sleep Zombie!
FTP, speed traps, are illegal
@@user-427.commodore speed traps are illegal ? So the police are breaking the law? Keep off the drink I would say 😂

Look at all the kids crossing the road ???? No ? Thought not. Esp when them speed traps are like set at just 2mph over limit. Clear money making.
He's only doing his job, leave him alone
I think every one knows what the speed limit is and why it's there.
So why get the hump with this guy, instead of trying to get speed limits abolished.
Why doesn't this guy get a proper job instead of being a government snitch and screwing over his fellow working class citizens, they aren't even real policemen
Think its because the police are only interested in motor offences these days
You’re not allowed to break the law to enforce the law
It has a police vehicle exemption.
Amazing response time from the Police. Get problems like burglaries, anti-social behaviour, vandalism etc etc, they take hours to turn up if at all. Shows their priorities, taking the knee, doing the lambada, helping stop oil protesters and the easy targets, motorists.
I drive a modified subaru impreza so this was a total pay back to cop's for me to watch. Just subscribed to you. Good on ya lad 🇬🇧🤘🤘🤘🤘
What has the make of your car got to do with getting payback?
So basically you are a boy racer in a clapped out old scooby - how many points have you racked up whilst driving like a tool? Speed limits exist for a reason. I hope you don't find that out the hard way.
@@Tom-ol6cu He's a boy racer in a crappy old car and no doubt has had run ins with the Police. Axe to grind ...
Loved this. Keep up the good work subscribed 👍🏽
Observation time. A. Was he a police officer in there doing his job, if yes no badge number on his uniform. B. if he was a civilian working for the police then that is fraud by misrepresentation. C. double yellow lines on both sides of the dual carriageway means no parking. And does greater manchester area have a clean air policy as im sure he was sat there with thye engine running. nice one Off you pop.. Crack on

I feel so much better 🤣

given there are hundreds of static cameras in the UK this is a total waste of Police time!

It's actually pretty common that councils will pass a law allowing emergency vehicles to park wherever they want. We have such an ordinance in my city
It's not an emergency
@@freetimesaudits In my city, and I'd venture to guess many others, it doesn't matter
@@utoob23 it should matter, they are not above the law
@@freetimesaudits It's the law that gives them the ability to do it. The council is the culprit
They have done that for every Police Force in Australia, total immunity from prosecution for all offences against traffic rules and regulations, even when not involved in an emergency. Only a matter of time before the UK follows that example.
I've seen them out at 23:30 on a Tuesday a time when there's little on the roads including pedestrians.
When Police start out an interaction with "advice" and dress it up as something they are doing to prevent something worse happening to you as if it's a favour, you can generally take it that they have no powers in that situation as it is and they can't do anything. But at least most Coppers still recognise that. It's when they wade in misusing/abusing powers on a routine basis that we should be very worried (and take action).
Not to fear.theres more of us than there is of them. When I was young bloody minded reckless and possesed fast fists I offer out a young dartford copper when he thought it funny to threaten us with his german shepherd.he declined my offer despite my goading that he was chicken shit.
You can see how dangerous it is there. The Van is obstructing the visibility of what looks like a crossing in the centre reservation
good point , he is parked illegally and god help any pedestrian
The crossing is actually just in front of the van and is controlled by lights.
