genuinely so funny that mackenzie calls to say he and eleanor aren't compatible, followed immediately by a call from eleanor in which we find out she's dead lmaooo i love that
Thank you!!! That was what I said when she asked, "If him talking to another girl was a jerk move." Girl, you left first!!! He must have thought you weren't interested.@suzannebrownbill9232
I love playing this challenge, though I went a bit rogue. Started with an artist, built her home fully, then decided that each new character had to add something to the community area. #1 added a pool and public restroom. #2 is a maker, juice fizzer, he added covered garden plots and a sales table. # 3 is a writer, she added a live-in butler house, a butler for the community (technically he lives in lot 4), and a community gym with showers. Plans for the next 3 include a musician, a freegan, and ?. I fenced each lot and locked to each owner, also, included a private vault for each property. The character in play locks up all their money so the new one always starts with zero. I might have fudged the rules a bit, but it's the most fun I've had playing Sims in a long time.
I just finished the first part! Can Azure make paintings for her neighbors? :D if it fits their style/color? I figured that would be cool to have something each person crafts in the homes.
If you think Azure wouldn't have a tv, how about putting that outdoor theater from the little campers kit outside her tiny house? It's nice and self made/ boho looking, it will spruce up the outside of her home and would be a fun additional activity to do for her and her future neighbours! 🥰
This series just started and I'm already so invested. Deli, when you're doing sims playthroughs they're so calming and comforting, it feels so relaxing to watch you play❤
Is it a residential lot? Maybe have a random sim be the landlord and own the lot. That way each tiny home will have bills specific to them. Just an idea! Love this series!
Yeah, that's how I did it with my lot, Frank is the landlord since he built his house first and I managed to create separate units by just building 1x1 buildings lol
Just as an FYI for people who may not be familiar: that isn't a dream catcher. It's just some macrame wall art. We get it mixed up here in the US, too. Dream catchers are a cultural tradition from many native nations, but the Ojibwe tribe is widely credited with creating the tradition. They're hung near the bed to catch nightmares and allow good dreams to go to the person sleeping. I myself am not native, but I had an ojibwe nanny when I was very little and she shared this tradition with me! She made a dream catcher for me and I believe cleansed it at certain times. I had horrible nightmares when I was little and this was one of the few things that helped (power of suggestion? Placebo? The power of a long-held tradition? Who knows).
already finished my first tiny house lol, started with a writer, now im exploring the new crystal creations pack, very lucrative. especially if you do the scientist career but slack off and only collect crystals and metals. next up im going back to my roots (pun intended) with gardening
I love the romance festival! Many of my sims ended up married to someone they met there. You and that other sims weren’t on a date, lol. A bunch of you went out as a litteral group to the festival. 😂😂😂 He was just socializing even if you flirted a bit. I still feel like City Living has the most useful/fun festivals of all the ones we have now.
I'm giving the challenge a try - my first person made a community bathroom & kitchen before building her home which is literally only a single room: bunk bed, loveseat, TV, bookshelf, computer & all sorts of decor even a cute little backyard
So glad you came up with this challenge! I have been very uninspired with the game for a while (also as a 30+ simmer ;) ) but this really gets me excited - downloading the lot while watching this and destined to start with Annie Aperature
This challenge made me so excited to play again after having a bit of a slump, and i am having the BEST time playing it! Thank you for writing and sharing it!!❤
Deli, I just had an idea about the mezzanine level. Instead of going two stories, you could just use a high platform as the "bedroom". I wanted to add that I really love your design and decorating ideas. You really have a special eye for these kind of things and what could go together. I really admire your talent and your whole aura. Thanks for this awesome challenge idea ❤. As soon as my game is running again without bugs, I'll try it out.
@@rebeccamadigan6735 it’s extra op when using the gallery wall to sell them for a markup though… I guess it would have been nice to complete the aspiration as well to make things last longer for this sim 🤷🏽♀️

i love the fact that azure is a painter and she has vitiligo its kind of poetic she has artwork on her face and body and she makes artwork in real life its cool
The money trash can only gives you 10 simoleons per houehold member. It's definitely not worth it now, but when you get all the townspeople, it may be worth it for 70 simoleon per trash item (that's like $500 per meal if you throw away the plates individually)
I already started my Tiny Town, on the island in Windenburg, I've turned the lot into 7 rental units, each having 64 tiles of floor marked out, although as rental units of course they don't get the Tiny Home benefits 😕 Oh and I did give each rental different lot traits, and 6 of them the Off Grid challenge, except Pink, who I figured needed power for appliances, so I gave them Mold instead 😈 I had to make a landlord Sim to own it, they set rent to $0 and lease to 28 days, then I moved all the sims into each lot, so they're all making a (slow) start on their skills + stories as I play them one at a time. In the first go round I rolled Beatrice Jam first, so played her for about a Sim-week until she had enough $ to build a house, then did the same for Azure and Cypress - his turn also coincided with romance festival so I also took him to that and got him a girlfriend since he had a romantic aspiration! Coincidence that Deli did similar!
I'm so invested in this series rn, I'm gonna binge it all - then play my own series. Can't wait. Just an idea, you can try this with a doomsday scenario, where the community is under a dome (you can build from a round roof), and the challenge is to survive "long enough" to be able to leave the dome. It may also be an off-the-grid challenge at first.
This series is so fun! I love this a lot! I love the whole idea of the challenge! Azure is such an awesome sim! I love watching her journey unfold! 😃 Her house ended up looking so cozy and inviting! Thank you for sharing this with us! 😁
Amaaaaazing again :) I am now on Beatrice Jam (Frank Stem and Azure Hue are all done now!) and looooving the challenge! I have 3 different characters that I replaced as I didn't own the packs: Phil Chill, who will earn money off Yoga classes and treatments; Giggi Giggles who will be a comedian/musician and Tanya Tipsy, a rancher and lover of wine (cough... nectar!) making. I would vote for randomising the next SIM you play and would deffo recommend the fences + lock doors (the cottage living dark brown look really cute in the lot!); I allow the current SIM to be able to join the common area for socialization and etc. but she can't get into any of the individual lots particularly the ones with nice houses too otherwise she would eat their food all the time :P Thanks Deli
I really like this so far, I wonder if as this goes on, it would be good to turn this into a residential rental and make Azure the ‘owner’ of the community? Since she’s the one who set it all up. Rent doesn’t have to be that high (just enough so she’s not in the red, plus I could definitely see her going around trying to make everyone feel comfortable there and you could use that as an explanation for property owner/manager in game socials) , it could just be like a tiny home community in real life where you’re paying for your spot and utilities, and any other costs you pay are your own. Like internet, bc you own your home. That way the active household isn’t stuck with massive bills. And each of them can expand if they so choose. 2nd levels being added on if they end up with families kind of storyline.
I love LP that involve game play and continually building in the sims. I loved the rags to restoration LP you did a couple years back and think it's so fun that you're doing something similar-ish again but with a fun new twist and story. Love love love! Can't wait for when a new episode drops of this tiny town series!
DELIIII I adore this challenge it’s so fun and creative. I love how you described wanting both gameplay and building, so so cool. The house turned out amazing, I can’t wait to see them all completed.
Maybe another way to add a challenge/interest could be ading lot traits/challanges for each sim that are in their respective colour - so for the green sim it could be the good soil, gremlins,... there are sime that rae blue too, I think of the grid, the island spirits, the well thing... I don't remember many from he top of my head tough to name more. Also the house looks so good and the landscaping is out of this world!
I adore this challenge so much - I'm on my third sim now (Beatrice Jam), having done Annie and Azure. I'm bending the rules a bit to build up the community areas, but I love how it's an easy challenge to do that with? Also it's just really nice to relax with it. Also, it's so funny how the sims seem to like going to each other's houses - Annie's tv is the biggest hit. It really adds to the community feel.
Sounds awesome and this comment makes me more interested in trying it myself! And, my thought is, you’re playing the challenge for you. If you want to bend (or break!) the rules, do what makes it more fun for you!
@@belliboooInstead of just doing a bit of the community areas per sim and then not using them again, I keep the previous sims going with their craft and continually improve the areas as I go. So, Azure was my second, and while Beatrice's money goes towards her cottage, Azure's still contributing to the gardens and my building up the community areas. I want the gardens and community areas to tie all the houses together, and it's easier for me to work like this. Also Azure keeps painting, and I might as well keep using the simoleons rather than resetting! It means there's some blending of funds, but I'm okay with that.
The bit where you said 7:48 this is like all your favourite games hit me so hard! I have saved these episodes to binge this weekend and I am so excited deli! 🤩 you’ve done it again 🥰 xxx
Absolutely loving this challenge Deli - such a fun and cute idea. I am trying it myself and I got Ziggy Yarn as my first townie and it's such a hard one to start with because you can only make money of knitting from selling on plopsy and it is not lucrative at all! But finally finished my first home for Ziggy and moving on to my next townie Azure! It would be great to get some tips on how you suggest we separate the funds between townies, especially if we don't have the For Rent pack to manage separation of lots.
Thank you for up-loading the lot with the boxes and their items on the ground and also a gated area for that sim's area. I also placed the lilacs and lights tree for each lot to add some more light at night. Super cute house. I do think the next sim should be randomized again.
OMG this is such an amazing NEW Sims challenge! Thank you Deli!!!!!! I can't wait to do this!!! I can't wait to see other youtubers do it also. Much love to Deligracy :)
Been loving this challenge, one of the only challenges I’ve actually been engaged with and playing all the way through. Great work deli, thank you!!! ❤
I love this challenge so much! I started with Beatrice and got her mixed in with some drama before I moved on to the next character. It's been so much fun!
I love this challenge!! I downloaded your lot and a sim came over to date my sim ended up asking to fix the stuff that was broken. I had no idea what was broken so said YES! and he ended up dead because he was trying to fix the kitchen stuff at the beginning of the lot. LOLLL Then I ended up inviting another sim to start painting and now I have a house with two small rooms for each and a common area. it's been very fun and THANK YOU for that!!!
I’ve watched lots of sims play & this channel has to probably be my favorite. I absolutely love this series. I love the storyline & your builds. It’s so calming. Cannot wait for the next video!
Deli! I have a recommendation, there is a new online life simulation game called Vivaland where it's basically like sims, but you create a town with your irl friends who plays the game. You should try this callenge in Vivaland and play with mutliple people who tries to do the challenge, it'll be chaotic and fun haha
Roofing tip: dunno if you fixed it, but to make the insdie look better with the intersecting roofs, shrink the little side gable to just one tile deep and then drag the edge to merge with the main roof. That'll stop the roof wall interupting your vaulted ceiling. You might have to place floor tiles above the bathroom. Could stick her cardboard box up there as storage under the eave.
I downloaded your build, and have built two tiny houses. I decided to temporary remove the sims, who finished their house, so I only focus on one at a time. That makes it easier to make sure no one spends that sims money, and no one earns extra money for them either😊 such a fun challenge, am loving it!
I'm hooked! Can't wait for the next part. I personally like randomising what should come next :) Also, definitely think you should put fences and lock each individual property... unless you want it to be extremely commune living lol
Im impressed with this tiny home! It's so cute. Also, I say randomize the next sim unless you have one you specifically want to play. It'll be a nice little surprise for us either way

I absolutely LOVE LOVE this challenge and will definitely be doing it! Thank you so much for this challenge and sharing it with us! 🥰🥰🥰
You are so welcome!
I love the way her house turned out!! This is such a fun challenge! Thanks for creating it ❤
Roofing tip: dunno if you fixed it, but to make the insdie look better with the intersecting roofs, shrink the little side gable to just one tile deep and then drag the edge to merge with the main roof. That'll stop the roof wall interupting your vaulted ceiling. You might have to place floor tiles above the bathroom. Could stick her cardboard box up there as storage under the eave.
You're so talented in building houses and interior! Thank you for always inspiring me 🩷🩷
You are absolutely SLAYING! Love your energy and passion with this challenge. Thank always for such entertaining and enjoyable content!
I downloaded your build, and have built two tiny houses. I decided to temporary remove the sims, who finished their house, so I only focus on one at a time. That makes it easier to make sure no one spends that sims money, and no one earns extra money for them either😊 such a fun challenge, am loving it!
That's a good way to do it. I chose to make the lot a rental and give each sim their own rental unit.
Would love to have the next sim chosen by random again. So excited!
I love this new series so much, please randomize again I like the surprise
Best start of my day! I watched this as i ate my breakfast☺ Love how the build turned out! Super cozy and chill vibes!💙
Always a great time watching a fellow Aussie simmer. This is such a great idea. Randomise the next one. Love your channel Deli. 🎉🎉
I'm hooked! Can't wait for the next part. I personally like randomising what should come next :) Also, definitely think you should put fences and lock each individual property... unless you want it to be extremely commune living lol
The house looks so lived in!!!! Absolutely stunning

Randomize it again! That way whatever you get it’ll be a surprise
Im impressed with this tiny home! It's so cute. Also, I say randomize the next sim unless you have one you specifically want to play. It'll be a nice little surprise for us either way
