- Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu known by his stage name Bobi Wine, is a Ugandan politician, singer, and actor. He is a former Member of Parliament for Kyadondo County East constituency in Wakiso District, in Uganda's Central Region. He also leads the National Unity Platform political party. In June 2019, he announced his candidacy for the 2021 Ugandan presidential election.
Mathias Mpuuga (born 12 October 1975) is a Ugandan politician, lawyer, and teacher who served as the Leader of the Opposition from 2021 to 2024. He previously served as a Member of Parliament of Masaka Municipality from 2011 until 2021 and briefly as the Leader of the Opposition. He is the current member of Parliament representing Nyendo-Mukungwe Division, a newly created constituency following the elevation of Masaka Municipality into a city. Mpuuga also serves as Deputy President of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Political party led by Bobi Wine.

By the way, why Mr. Mpuuga opposing the Leadership of President Robert Kyagulanyi. First of Alllll.. I ever had Mpuuga addressing President Kyagulanyi as “My President”. Also, is Mpuuga still in Opposition, but opposing opposition, or opposing NRM government. Where is his stand at this moment. It seems he is floating. I would like to advise him to be clear and leave opposition. He can rejoin DP of MAO because we all know where they’re falling. Alternatively, declare that, he is joining NRM before it is too late. NRM will fail to give him the card to stand in his car rent area… because, he is not clear which party he is in. Coming back to NUP and be the leader of NUP as it was his dream…. There is no go.
