Good video! Small note on TTK, I think you have TTK and DPS mixed up. The Jesper and Omen are high TTK weapons, in that they take a longer (higher) amount of time to kill, thus they are low DPS weapons. One other tip I notice lots of newer players struggle with is crosshair placement, or even just walking around with their weapon lowered in general.
Crosshair placement and pre-aiming are going to be covered in a future video! And I promise I know the difference between DPS and TTK, misspoke when recording my VO 😂
i did most of these already, although, that first tip to put your arm from under, to forward seems amazing, ill definitely be trying that in a few minutes 🙏 thanks for the vids
I think you might be misinterpreting the reason you’re losing fights. There’s not a lot you can do to improve your reaction time, and even so it shouldn’t be THE differentiating factor in losing a gunfight the majority of the time. If it was, I would legitimately talk to your doctor. BUT you can put more thought into how and when you take fights, giving you more time to react than your opponents.
thank you for this. I have just got the game (2days ago) and i decided to jump into some competitive i tried to apply to all my teams expectations but we lost and i got raged at, so the end part is really usefull especially when your getting told to uninstall the game and several insults
Yep! Teammates in competitive games suck sometimes. In Breachers I play with everyone muted in public lobbies, and I mute people in ranked games if I have to. I would recommend grinding control point for a couple weeks to learn the maps and mechanics, and then play some ranked. GLHF!
@@typic_ Enjoyment absolutely should be prioritized. And a lot of people will improve at a rate their happy with just by playing, or have a natural talent and disposition that allows them to learn these skills quickly. But there's a lot of people who just want to improve faster, or for whom Breachers is their first VR FPS and they don't know where to start. This video is definitely aimed at that audience moreso than people who are already competing. I appreciate your feedback though!
People seem to be able to not only react instantly but know exactly where my head will be with perfect aim before I’ve even had a chance to pull the trigger
I do use virtual stock! But it can have some benefits to not use it, since there is motion smoothing applied which adds a delay to small movements. For rifles, I position my dominant hand like 6 inches in front of my face, and my non dominant hand about 6 inches in front of that. I like this because it makes me feel like I have a decent amount of mobility without sacrificing accuracy. For pistols, I hold my dominant hand in the same place and use my non-dominant hand to support it. Also, I thought your name seemed familiar and I used to watch a bunch of your Rocket League tutorials! Glad I could return the favor!
I just started and when I always grip my gun with my other hand it’s mad hard for me to get already set to fire it’s either aiming up or down and it’s mad hard for me to see my red dots any tips
I was super good and now o was going against super good players like grande masters and I get destroyed as soon as they see me so thank you for helping me
@@HarryVRC In our defense, we're a meh silver team AND two of the maps were 5-7 🤣 I'm on Global Dystopia Nexus. We just got into Breachers right before the BCS season started, so we're still learning the maps and developing strats.
I hope this doesnt come across as rude or anything, just my personal opinion watching this. I believe you did a good job showing the "flicking" part to quick reaction time situations. I also think you missed several core mechanics which in my opinion help with having better aim than just the flicking part. Still a good video for beginners.
Not rude at all! I appreciate the feedback! But yeah, this video is aimed at beginners, and I’ll make a video on more advanced topics like preaiming and timing in the future for sure!
@@TrickyIsSpecial Nope! We’re only Silver in BCS rn, and just got into Breachers maybe a month prior to the season starting. We were primarily a Vail team.
i spwan and get headshoted before i can even make my load out .. im walking and this dude will matrix 360 full split and headshot me as im spraying him down (how does half a clip of bullets not kill a dude who 1 taps me) So many ppl 1 tap its so annoying and honestly makes the game not fun at all to play
My friend, you did not hit half a clip in that scenario. And what's good about these kinds of games is that you are entirely able to one tap them back :)
What other sort of questions do you have about Breachers?👇
Love how you added at the end “you either win, or you learn!” So true. You can’t expect instant results in life!
Thank you! That mentality has helped me a lot and I hope it might help a few people out there.
Good video! Especially loved the part going over how to correctly flick
YOOOOO I love your videos! That means a lot! Thank you!

Of course! I really appreciate your support and feedback! And fr, the quick draw tip has saved my life in tournament games.
Any tips on how to get a better trigger finger, half the times when I die it’s because they shot faster than me

Thank you! I hope it helps!
Playing a TDM/Control point before you start playing is all you need - same for me and all of my team - VRF
Definitely a great warmup, but for those who want to get more repetitions to improve faster in a lower pressure environment.
@G4IJIN_VAIL I think enjoyment of the game should be prioritised, you'll get good enough aim just playing the game.

Prefiring is a very common practice in a game like Breachers! If you’re holding angles for too long you increase your likelihood of being prefired.
Do you use virtual stock? Also, whats your irl stance like?
How does it differ between rifles and pistols?
