@@Cr34ky there's 2 ways to trade (not talking about trading your teammates, I mean killing and dying to the same person). One is with projectiles, so if you shoot a projectile at your opponent and he kills you after you've thrown it or vice versa yiu will yrade each other. However guns in this game are hitscan so this doesn't matter for gunplay. The second way to trade is with lag (I'll use pavlov as an example here). If you shoot someone the game will instantly consider them dead, but they won't die instantly, rather they'll die after the server has registered your shots (which is directly related to your ping). Now the server willkill them but they still won't die, because the information has to travel from the server to their client (which is directly related to their ping), then they'll finally die. From the time the game considered your enemy dead on your client and until they actually die, your enemy can still shoot and kill you, if they shoot you in that timeframe between when they're considered dead and when they actually die on their client, you'll trade each other and both of you will live (This is called client sided hit detection, since the game counts someone as dead right there and then on your client). But breachers isn't like that, in breachers if you shoot someone the game won't consider them dead, rather they will only die when the information that you shot them has reached the server (the time it takes for it to do that is directly related to your ping). This means that if you shoot someone when you have high ping they won't be considered dead, if they have low ping and they shoot you before they're considered dead and the server registeres that they shot still before they're considered dead then you will die first. Now the server registeres that you shot him, however because you're dead it doesn't kill him and a trade doesn't happen (This is called server sided hit detection since the game only registers players as dead on the server ).
@@Cr34ky For anyone reading this now, basically I tested something a long while ago and got to the conclusion that rather than peeker's advantage, this game just always favored the lower ping player. However because I am super dumb and didn't double check anything as it turns out, peeker's advantage is very real and it's really bad and I feel super dumb.
here are some of my tips - lift some weights 15-30 mins before hand to make the guns feel lighter and hold them up with less strain - don't use button crouch or turn, this is personal preference but you cant control the speed of turning and moving that well with buttons - play your first 35-50 levels with just jesper and omen, whatever attachments and gadgets you want but aim train with those guns because they deal less damage and require more shots in the head faster to kill
oh and one more thing i see a lot of tight and unsmooth aim, one of the most useful things I do is stay in a calm mindset, don't overfocus just relax and go kill
I ageee with all of those tips for new players except the last one. I'd say especially if you're new even if you use a vezin you'd probably still get stomped by a league player and it's probably not gonna be a fun experience. At the end of the day if you think it helps you then you do you, but I'd rather improve slowly and have fun than get stomped but get better fast
Always good to keep yourself humble if you want to get better even if you think you’re already pretty good. Never even thought about doing that side step peek

Even at the current highest level of competition people still make a ton of mistakes and the meta isn't quite fleshed out yet. Pretty much as long as you know you can be better then you're good. I mainly use the vezin. Also in the settings you can change your gun angle and if you enable virtual stock then you can also change vstock angle but there's no way to put the gun closer to you. You can however change your reticle in the settings (open the menu > options > comfort > scroll all the way down) I'm a bit confused tho, the crosshair always stays exactly the same size no matter how close the gun actually is to your face. How exactly is moving your hands / putting the gun closer going to help?
@@mike_d10 Thanks. I just think I'm more comfortable with the recoil and shooting (and holding) when the pistol is closer to me, dont know why. When i have my hands closer to me it like im squeezing my arms in. One thing i forgot to mention was that when the pistol is far away from me i think its harder to aim tbh
I play on standalone lol (I just got my cable recently and now I play with a quest 2 connected to a pc via link cable, but all of my current videos were on standalone with a streched recording)
It doesn't need to be too close. As long ss you have your offhand, dominant hand and eye all on the same line yiu should be able to look through the sites. Also try enabling vstock (virtual stock), that way your right hand can focus only on aligning the scope and the left hand eill be the one doing all the aiming
with only 4 videos (with 2 of those being montages) you can only have so many subs. I also am yet to even start working on my next video because of lack of motivation / laziness sooooooooo
How do people rappel breach windows?? I’ve seen people straight up jump through windows and I don’t know how. I just have to do that awkward grab the ledge BS 😢

@@Leftykman I hold the gun right handed, with the right hand fairly close to my face and my left hand fully streched out. For pistols I strech out both of my arms all the way
@@Leftykman Always aim with both eyes open for the best visibility and depth perception (If you only have one eye open, you won't be able to see enemies hiding behind your gun, but this is solved if you keep both eyes opened. It also allows you to perceive depth better)
🤷♂️ I recorded this video on standalone, didn't change anything other than stretching out the resolution so I'm not sure, it should look the same for everyone

@@mike_d10 The best way to do it would be using a sidechain compressor, so the music volume lowers automatically depending on the voice volume. I let you Google that to learn how to do it with your setup ;)

You're right, should've gone more in depth into it. If you don't mind I'll explain it here and sometime in the future I'll make a video about it. The game makes a boundary around you (fairly small, circle shaped boundary). Then if you move your head anywhere in that boundary, the game will see that as a lean (orientation doesn't matter). If you go past that boundary the game will linearly reset your lean. Also if you start moving using the joystick, the game will reset your lean. Also the white square you see right under you marks where your character's feet are. If you're not directly above that square that means your character is leaning and in general that square is a good indicator to see how much you're leaning if at all. That means you can pretty much walk in real lie as much as you want as long as you're still walking within that boundary and the game will count that as leaning.

Lol same, I regularly get 20+ kill games and I was literally doing none of these. Although I do often get quite a lot more deaths than my teammates.
Hopefully now with this extra knowledge I can get that up to 30+ kill games and a lot less deaths.

You can do that by pressing the crouch button when in front of a window
