It feels like Vail is going to be what kicks off competitive play in vr. I can imagine e sport arenas set up to watch these teams play. I can't wait to see the future of vail.
I can't wait until Vail release to everyone. I've never played a true VR shooter before, and hearing about Vail gets me extremely excited to try it out.
It's a lot of fun. Best of luck to you in the giveaway! If you don't get it, you can offer to be a bug tester on the game's discord and get a code that way. But it does come out before the end of the year.
A useful way to shoot without using sights is to turn your rifle sideways and hold it in the center of your view. It works best with a laser sight but it's pretty accurate without one as well. It's faster than using sights at close range, and it makes very close range easier to handle with a long gun since if you are too close you can rotate your chest and pull the gun farther back quickly. It also helps in games like pavlov where recoil is insane, you can counter recoil by turning your body as you shoot.
@@G4IJIN_VR Oh also, for pistols you can turn the gun so the sights are in front of your left eye instead. It makes iron sights faster to align and you can keep both eyes open while aiming. + also good for being very close while being able to hold it with two hands the whole time. ^ Basically do what John Wick does in his movies, the technique itself is called center axis relock. I was having trouble with pistols so I just gave it a shot and it really made it easier.
On VR, almost certainly. I saw their CEO in the patron discord where they said they already had over 500 daily active users when I joined, which put them at like 5th most active users at the time. And they've let a bunch of other people in since then, and it's not even an open beta yet. I'm so optimistic for the future of this game.
@@G4IJIN_VR That numbers a bit misleading when you consider Pavlov shack has 10-16k concurrent players depending on the day. 500 daily active users is alright but that's only on Steam. Truth is, the largest market and playerbase is going to be on quest (and other affordable options like Pico) And upcoming psvr2
Thanks for the tips are there anything to like practice everyday and stuff, because I been looking to join a team for a few and, I have a scrim at 8pm tomorrow Eastern time.
It will be coming to the next generation of standalone headsets, but unfortunately current ones can’t run it. The future is very bright for VR, PC or Standalone.

I am using Liv for vail which gives a great smoothed experienced for the viewer but how do you capture content in VR aim trainer and other FPS games that LIV doesn't have integration for? Do you just use right eye capture?
Thank you for your kind words! I had a similar experience starting out. I either capture the game’s preview window or use an open xr extention for OBS that captures anything in my headset.
