- While travelling over 161 countries, surely Drew will meet a lot of people. What are his thoughts? Drew Binsky is a 27 year old travel video maker and blogger from Arizona, aiming to inspire young adults to get out of their comfort zone. He’s visited 153 countries since 2012, and plans to see every country in the world by 2020.
Drew first got the travel bug from studying abroad in Prague, then taught English in South Korea where he started his first travel blog in 2013.
In Jan 2015, Drew left Korea and went on a mission to visit all the countries, while making a living through his blog and social media. It wasn’t until early 2017 when he picked up a video camera to start making daily videos, and 2 years later, he’s surpassed 600 million overall views and 2.5 million followers.
Apart from traveling, Drew is a huge sports fan, golfer and a 2X Guinness World Record Holder. You can find him @drewbinsky on all social media. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

How did he fund it? He told so many people they had to buy a TEFL certificate to teach in Korea, something you DO NOT NEED. You just need a degree. Then he got 35 dollar off each person, and this funded his trips. I lost respect for him.

As a teacher, I have heard many complaints against Drew Goldberg (AKA 'Binsky') for getting his travel money by tricking students into buying a TEFL certificate. As a current teacher in South Korea I must tell everyone that he did indeed lie. He misled people to invest in the certificate. I have no such certificate, none of my co-teachers have a certificate, and I am very angered at this behavior that indeed has hurt many students, and tarnished the reputation of Drew Goldberg. Shame on you Drew Goldberg! Please, students, get money HONESTLY to travel. Become a teacher for the world, but remember, ethics, honesty, and hard work. Bless you, Linda

MAYBE they realized he is not a real world traveler. He scammed innocent college kids telling them the first thing they NEEDED to teach in south korea was his endorsed tefl certificate, a TOTAL LIE! And in every country he has to pay someone to hold his hand like a scared little kid....

I'm so glad I just found his channel! Nothing excites me more in life than traveling to new places in the world and seeing the cultures and beauty there. I've watched some travel videos but sometimes they are a bit drawn out and boring. I don't know if I'll make it to every country in the world like Drew, and his videos satisfy my desire to find out what life is like all over the world and what there is to see there. I get to learn and enjoy so much by watching! Love his perspective and commentary. Thank you, Drew, you are an inspiration.
