People forget how magical this season was for Jake Delhomme. Came off the bench to replace Peete in like his 15th season. ULL grad who wasn't given a fair shake after impressive performances in NO. Led his team to a super bowl and rivaled Brady the GOAT himself through the entire game. Pats only won by a field goal and had a lot of people thinking they were overrated at the time.
The Patriots went 34-3 in their next 37 games after this day, winning two Super Bowls. That is the most dominant two year stretch in the Super Bow era, probably in NFL history.
@@bulldogsbob to a degree, nfl needed to pay them and etc because the negligance was insane. But as far as the rule changes and etc that was nfl covering their ass from those lawsuits. So the sudden over the top, excessive flags is bs but we know the reason why which is related to the lawsuits and realizing through betting which still wasnt legal yet,on top of the ways the flags control/dictate the game, its easier to excert control over the game/players. Remember when defenders jump to swat ball and accidentally contact the qb helment resulted in roughing the passer ? Prime example.

Defenses figured out Holcombs tendencies and the season was a wrap. Then in 04 we get Garcia and Winslow while the steelers draft Big Ben. That set the franchise back about 10 or 15 years. Thanks Butch Davis.
Man I remember watching him and Marshall getting interviewed on Inside the NFL in 2002 and Marshall started crying. They were both like we don’t even know wtf is going on!
2:12 Whoa! Who would have thought that the pats would have gotten the idea of their current home jersey's outline from Bill's team shirt in 2003 hahaha.
Being from Chicago I remember vividly people thinking this was a bad move. I thought he deserved a chance but injuries and inconsistency seemed to work in Bill Cowher's favor as he had been highly criticized for not giving Kordell unabated keys to the offense. This season for Kordell proved why. Really did like him as one of my fav QBs before this season though.
Hahaha, I remember the Bills thrashing of NE in week1 after there was a new sheriff in town in Buffalo, it's amazing that the Pats ended up with the Lombardi trophy that year, the second in three years after edging the Panthers in the superbowl
Not to mention Lawyer Milloy leaving NE and going to Buffalo right before the start of the season and TJ here saying the Pats hated their coach. Come week 17 the Pats are 13-2 and give Buffalo some serious payback killing them 31-0 in return. Man I miss the 2000s.
Shout out to the " Idiot Drunk Kicker " lmbo...man They ESPN today . ANY Network will NEVER touch this show..ever. MNF ESPN had some good years/spots too.. i miss Stuart yo
This show was my childhood. I loved this show with Berman and Jackson. I looked forward to it every sunday. Also the fastest 3 minutes
Same I love those guys! I Miss Tom Jackson also

Nfl had to keep their narrative/agenda going.

My guy.....thanks for the uploads.......loved these days in football the nostalgia is dope......

love it 2003 -2005 covers almost every episode and playoffs. Great quality to
Back when safeties and LBs could actually hit players without having to worry about drawing a flag... The good ol days!
Blame former playing suing the league for that.
@@bulldogsboblawyers suck
at least the NFL is protecting players that made them billions and they also get have longer careers 🤡 ✌️

2003 Browns had a helluva great defense. Held the Patriots and Colts, the AFC Championship participants to 9 points each
If they had a half decent quarterback in 2003, they could’ve made some noise in the AFC

Back when everybody was good !!! I miss the early 2000’s great football
After losing Super Bowl XXXVI, Warner was never the same again with the Rams. Amazing how he managed to revitalize his career in Arizona
Man I remember watching him and Marshall getting interviewed on Inside the NFL in 2002 and Marshall started crying. They were both like we don’t even know wtf is going on!
Well he was massively concussed early in this game and played thru it hence why it was so ugly
Some many people I forgot all about this is nostalgia
RIP the late, great Stuart Scott
This program was the best! I miss it so much!
2:12 Whoa! Who would have thought that the pats would have gotten the idea of their current home jersey's outline from Bill's team shirt in 2003 hahaha.
They just switched to their color rush uniforms
Man this was before youtube where you had to tune in to see the highlights 🔥
What a blast from the blast. This is amazing.
The bills had a super bowl caliber defense. Schobel, Williams, Adams, Spikes, Fletcher, Clements, Winfield, Milloy
injuries killed them that year
@@Diljabar along with the loss of WR Peerless Price. Josh Reed and Bobby Shaw was not good replacements.
But a 60 yr old Bledsoe
@@brandonsmith7787 As a Falcons fan, I remember being pumped about signing Price..Ended up being a bust smh
Ended up 6-10. Crazy. Looked like world beaters in this game.

Damn I don’t think I’ve ever seen Brady play that bad he stunk up the joint

Good days when you only a few sports shows now there’s a million and most of them are debate shows lol
Two HOF QBs (Brady and Warner) with probably their worst career games in the same day. And Manning had a pretty bad game, too.
Kurt Warner had the excuse of being severely concussed early in the game…
Vikings get their 1st win at Lambeau since 98, but 16 weeks later....
Wasn't this the episode where Tom Jackson said that the Patriot players hated their head coach?
I never knew Kordell Stewart played for the Bears.

Alge Crumpler holy shit I haven’t heard that name in a long damn time.
Who would have thought that the QB switch in Carolina led to a super bowl appearance
