That was by far my favorite randition of the national anthem by a celebrity ever. The harmonies were in tune, it wasn't over the top in any way shape or form, and chris nailed that high E. Excellent counter tenor... And of course JC who i personally think is the best singer in the group (which Justin agrees with) did a great job. =)
i miss them tear tear. at least now there on tv now seporately then they were the past like 2 years. chris is doing a vh1 show soon joeys doing dwts and justins always on tv so im as happy as i can be at this point lol
i totally agree. no offense but bsb was kind of a mess. there were moments it sounded pretty good but for the most part it was incohesive. too many runs out of place too. and things that theyre not at fault are than they dont have as good of a blend. i dont think they hae a TRUE bass like lance (kevin is a bass baritone i think)
i'm SO glad i peaked puberty at the height of their fame...cuz teenage girls nowadays have no teenage boy bands to pin all their girly dreams and fantasies on
Now technical things...because I'm a geek that way...the arrangement had some half cadences in awkward places, jc needed to be a little quiter when chris had the melody, but damn...they were so together for the most part...i was sooooo impressed.
It's one thing to prefer one group over the other. Hell it's all opinion really, but to say backstreet boys can't sing is majorly exaggerated. You may not like them but there's no denying they can sing pretty damn good, just as there's no denying nsync can do the same.
ya that guys voice bothers me he seems too happy when he announced this stuff urgh im glad i was watching at my house instead of at the eccles stadium.
ok if you made this comment after like a christina aguilera performance of ssb i'd understand but i dont see what your main problem with this version is. so a well written patriotic song cant sound harmonically pleasing? i for one am very picky when it comes to arrangements and this screamed nothing but great harmony, a very subdued ORIGINAL melody (ESPECIALLY FOR POP), and clear articulation of the lyrics.
JC n Chris r the voices of Nsync ❤❤
NSYNC will forever trend in the consciousness of those who appreciate music. NSYNC Forever❤
