I love the music at the beginning. Makes me feel like I'm in the middle east, marching on a trail to an archaeological dig site. 😊

A moat was discovered at the northern edge of the City of David in Jerusalem, providing new insights into the city's layout during the time of the biblical Kings, possibly even extending back to the era of Abraham.
The excavation site, known as the Givati Parking Lot Excavation, has been ongoing for 21 years and provides a cross-section of 2,000 years of Jerusalem's history, with layers ranging from the 9th century BC to the 11th century AD.
The moat, which is at least 9 meters deep and runs east to west, was likely a significant defensive structure, possibly separating the Acropolis from the domestic parts of the city.
The discovery challenges previous assumptions about the extent of Iron Age Jerusalem, indicating that the city was larger than previously thought, stretching further west than earlier believed.
The moat's exact purpose and age are still being researched, with possibilities including its use as a separation barrier or a defensive feature, but further excavation and analysis are needed to draw definitive conclusions.

Perhaps we have found the real 'Ofel' or the real 'Miloh' of the Biblical text.

Ye made also a ditch between
The two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the Maker thereof, neither had respect unto Him that fashioned it long ago. Isaiah 22:11

Look at all the effort going into digging and researching biblical sites to prove religious stories. You religious folks believe that your god wants all of us to believe in him and those stories. What you all fail to realize is that your god, if he exists, could easily provide tons of evidence without all the digging and conjecture.
Use your brains, please, and recognize that this god just doesn't exist.

Faith is a gift of God’s grace. “You do not believe because you are not of My sheep.” (Unless you are granted the mercy of repentance and faith). The heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.
