Yeah that's a great idea. I'm leaning toward doing it again with a much more basic loadout next time, maybe starting with something like an SKS with PS ammo, PACA and basic meds etc... Objectives like the Evasion tournaments do could be fun too. Might just run it back with one new rule at a time and keep augmenting as we go until it feels like a good fit.

@@SwampFoxTV Also, I'm a pretty good sniper in games like post scriptum and hell let loose, and is hard to make long shoot in that games. But I never feel that I totally "get" the ballistics in tarkov. I know why, lots of differents barrels velocities and bullets, etc. but I hope the new balllistics plus innertia, makes a new and better snipping experience for me.

Next time someone asks me what Tarkov is, this is the video I'm going to have them watch. This is peak Tarkov, and honestly how it was meant to be played.
did a very similar thing for the guide this wipe, just refilled ammo and meds after each raid. and i started with a hatchet only and only used things i found in raid. by the end of it i had an ak 74n with a reap-ir off of a guy i killed and and lvl 5 armor. really cool challenge
I think Deadly and I will try to run this one again with a slightly altered rule set, adding objectives on each map. I expect it'll be a bit later this wipe
I think creating certain objectives per map, or just generalized objectives would be a cool touch to this kind of challenge. For example, the PMC is a military operative that recognizes high priority targets, so in the event that the Boss Scav is on the map (like when you heard Killa) he attempts to eliminate him, it definitely doesn't need to be a modified Snowball challenge, where you're forced to hunt down every Boss, but it could add to the immersion. Or in the event of Labs, you make it a priority to kill at least 3 Raiders or something like that.
Yeah, I think we'd do something a little more like the Evasion tournaments like planting a sniper rifle in the dome, or throwing smoke nades in certain locations etc... just to force movement and objectives into certain areas rather than having every decision be entirely PVP centric next time

Thank you. I think we will try this again later in this patch with some objectives added (maybe smoke grenade a specific rooftop or take screenshots with the range finder etc...). That way we aren't encouraged to always take the quick way out. I had fun with this first run through of the challenge though!

It's all conceptual right now so no one knows how it would or even could work. They have to get Streets of Tarkov out and running smoothly before they could ever consider linking up the maps so it'll be a long time off it they can do it

Great video with a nice story flow in the background. If you are in search for other ideas in the same direction a group budget might be fun. Something where you have to come up within a time limit how to spent the budget. Really bringing in the comcept of having maybe only one player bringing in an optic for long range while the other goes more doorkicker to save cost, or maybe bring out the good midtier guns that noone uses in endgame but have really good value for your buck like the older AKs or a MDR. Ammo might be a good idea to leave out of the budget since the prizes are so crazy and come up with a different limitation. A teambased weightlimit might be a totally different thing, like a limit for the insertion dropoff for th eteam and then you have to reach a objective and then make it to the extract on the tarkov map (maybe axtraction is on the roof of the shoreline resort ? why bind the final destination to an ingame extract on the last map)

Interestingly, just doing the challenge early wipe after 12.12 will mean more players on servers, lesser gear available, and an 8th map to throw into the rotation so it'll already naturally be harder next time. Thanks - I don't know if there was an issue with the render, but during this particular day of playing, the game looked way foggier than usual which is what 90% of the comments are on this video haha. What if you could only start with 150K rubles of gear? It would be a lot more challenging and suspenseful. Another idea: You can access traders when you're actually at the trader's location, such as ragman in interchange, or skier in customs. Edit: spelling mistakes

Yeah that's fair. It's been a really hard balance between the live streams and spending so much time planning and editing for RUclips. I've made all the regular Twitch alerts super small in the bottom right corner with little to no sound so they're not immersion breaking for a possible RUclips edit later on. The jump scares are just too much fun for my chat and I can't take it away from 'em so I just do my best to edit most of them out, though it's occasionally an issue when one of them overlaps something important happening.
Maybe there's an option in VoiceMeeter I'm not sure if you use that software or not. I'm not entirely an expert on it but maybe some experimentation can be done with audio outputs.
I think we're going to run it again soon with some objectives on each map to force a bit more exploration while keeping it still pretty open-ended. The only thing I didn't super like about the original playthrough here is we were a bit incentivized to just get enough XP to avoid a run through and then leave. This way with objectives the exploration factor would be a bit more present
@@SwampFoxTV yeah I felt that when you got to interchange. I was thinking if you had to find specific loot like An intel folder or 3 flash drives and paper or 2 of each diaries before you exit labs. Or even map specific loot like 1 bottle of water on customs, a scav shotgun on factory, CMS on shoreline, something gold on woods, computer parts on interchange but great video anyway man alot of fun to watch
Anyone know why he couldn't use his red dot on woods or interchange without a ton of glare on night vision but as soon as they go to labs hes a-okay with zero glare?

Thanks - I don't know if there was an issue with the render, but during this particular day of playing, the game looked way foggier than usual which is what 90% of the comments are on this video haha. If you watch anything else of mine you'll see it looks quite nice. Glad you enjoyed the adventure anyway!

What if you could only start with 150K rubles of gear? It would be a lot more challenging and suspenseful. Another idea: You can access traders when you're actually at the trader's location, such as ragman in interchange, or skier in customs.

Yeah that's fair. It's been a really hard balance between the live streams and spending so much time planning and editing for RUclips. I've made all the regular Twitch alerts super small in the bottom right corner with little to no sound so they're not immersion breaking for a possible RUclips edit later on. The jump scares are just too much fun for my chat and I can't take it away from 'em so I just do my best to edit most of them out, though it's occasionally an issue when one of them overlaps something important happening.
Maybe there's an option in VoiceMeeter I'm not sure if you use that software or not. I'm not entirely an expert on it but maybe some experimentation can be done with audio outputs.

I think we're going to run it again soon with some objectives on each map to force a bit more exploration while keeping it still pretty open-ended. The only thing I didn't super like about the original playthrough here is we were a bit incentivized to just get enough XP to avoid a run through and then leave. This way with objectives the exploration factor would be a bit more present
@@SwampFoxTV yeah I felt that when you got to interchange. I was thinking if you had to find specific loot like An intel folder or 3 flash drives and paper or 2 of each diaries before you exit labs. Or even map specific loot like 1 bottle of water on customs, a scav shotgun on factory, CMS on shoreline, something gold on woods, computer parts on interchange but great video anyway man alot of fun to watch
Anyone know why he couldn't use his red dot on woods or interchange without a ton of glare on night vision but as soon as they go to labs hes a-okay with zero glare?
The glare is from moonlight reflecting, in labs there is no natural lighting thus no glare :)

I don't actually know what was up with this one. The weather was ridiculously foggy and rainy the whole time we did this challenge, but on top of that the actual render does look a bit grayscale so I'm not 100% sure what happened to be honest.
