Hank should have some backup arranged, I know that he was doing this mission solo but Hank's fault here is he thought that he was always more of a 'man' than his brother-in-law. He completely undermined him here that he is just not dealing with his brother-in-law but a major drug kingpin.
@@narutomax1101 Nah man he was acting without telling anyone else in the DEA so the normal process doesn't slow things down and gives Walter an opportunity to escape.
@@oken6023 I got you but Hank should have taken him more seriously. He always thought that Walt was weaker than him and can take him down by himself. What he didn't realise was he was not just messing with his brother-in-law, he was going head-to-head with the biggest drug kingpin in the South at that time. Again his pride got him killed.
You’re missing the entire point of this scene. They can’t make a case against Walt unless they find his money so then he wouldn’t have money for an attorney
When I was watching the show 2nd time, in this scene Jesse was smiling when Walt got arrested, I was saying to myself don't worry Jesse, that smile will go away really soon.
That “coward” from Walter bites so hard, almost more than anything else he’s said on the show. Not even the word itself but how he said it. If you were held at gun point that would be the perfect last words to at least have the person think about it a little bit subconsciously either before or after they shoot you.
This was a great ending to the franchise. Walter saw prison and Jesse got informant's protection. Well played by Hank. He beat the gangs and ended the game.
Hank's death is his own fault. If he swallowed his pride and told the DEA about walt in the first place he wouldn't have been in that situation. He basically got him and gomez killed just to satisfy his need to arrest walt.
No. If Hank told it to the DEA, he wd be sacked first. U simply don't get to remain a DEA agent when one of the biggest meth kingpins is ur well-known brother in law and u've failed to catch him fr that long.

That's the only time where I was like "Okay, that's just unrealistic bullshit" for multiple reasons. I think I misinterpreted what you meant tho, cause even tho it was a weird scene it wasn't acted bad at all, just way too far fetched lol
Walt chose this life multiple times. Gretchen and eliot offered him a way out with the job. Jesse told him to go to the cops instead of killing gale. Skylar told him to admit he was in danger and go to the police. Hank offered to talk to him about anything when he saw the beating jesse gave him. Walt could have turned informant against the salamancas and fring. Saul told him to be happy about winning the irish sweepstakes with fring dead and to walk away. Every time, he doubled down until it blew up in his face.
"Gretchen and eliot offered him a way out with the job." He has no obligation to take that job "Jesse told him to go to the cops instead of killing gale." and spent the rest of his life in prison, why would he do that? At that point he might as well let mike kill him and also puts himself and his family in grave jeopardy "Skylar told him to admit he was in danger and go to the police." and spent the rest of his life in prison, exactly why would he do that? Also if he did go to the police and did that he and his entire family would be killed. "Hank offered to talk to him about anything when he saw the beating jesse gave him. Walt could have turned informant against the salamancas and fring." again stupid and the cartel would kill him and his family, also probably spend life in prison. "Saul told him to be happy about winning the irish sweepstakes with fring dead and to walk away." There is nothing immoral about making meth, but I would agree he should have stopped when he had several million dollars. "Every time, he doubled down until it blew up in his face." It did not blow up in his face, Jesse outright betrayed Walt.
@@voluntarism335 “Jesse outright betrayed Walt” you mean like when walt watched jane die and did nothing or when walt poisoned a little kid jesse knew just so jesse would keep cooking with him? nothing more dangerous for you or your loved ones than being heisenberg’s partner

After this series ending scene the screen fades to black and a hilarious blooper reel played. It was amazing how many takes it took sometimes for Bryan Cranston to get his lines straight. That clip in the lab where he repeatedly referred to the Marg Helgenberger Principle was hilarious.
I love the look on Walt's face. It's not anger, it's the way a dissapointed father looks at a son who decided to betray him. Jesse knew that Walt went trough all of this to leave money for his family once the cancer kills him and he still betrayed him. And although Walt became a horrible person who let his ego get over his head as they progressed, manipulating him at times, he still saved his life on several occasions and showed authentic compassion towards him, even more than his real parents. That's why Jesse at 1:40 cannot respond to Walt's accusing look other than toning down his initial enthusiasm over Walt's arrest. He recapitulates if depriving Walt of his only unselfish goal is the point where he went to far since now he did what he actually despises. Especially when he realizes that he hid the money at the place where they cooked together for the first time.

if hank didnt waste time glotting he'd be alive wouldve had time to drive off.
Nah they're way out in the desert. They'd get halfway before jack and his men came
Hank should have some backup arranged, I know that he was doing this mission solo but Hank's fault here is he thought that he was always more of a 'man' than his brother-in-law. He completely undermined him here that he is just not dealing with his brother-in-law but a major drug kingpin.
@@narutomax1101 my thoughts exactly he wanted Walt so badly he got careless
@@narutomax1101 Nah man he was acting without telling anyone else in the DEA so the normal process doesn't slow things down and gives Walter an opportunity to escape.
@@oken6023 I got you but Hank should have taken him more seriously. He always thought that Walt was weaker than him and can take him down by himself.
You left out multiple other factors, incredibly dishonest the way u contructed this.
"Gretchen and eliot offered him a way out with the job." He has no obligation to take that job
"Jesse told him to go to the cops instead of killing gale." and spent the rest of his life in prison, why would he do that? At that point he might as well let mike kill him and also puts himself and his family in grave jeopardy
"Skylar told him to admit he was in danger and go to the police." and spent the rest of his life in prison, exactly why would he do that? Also if he did go to the police and did that he and his entire family would be killed.
"Hank offered to talk to him about anything when he saw the beating jesse gave him. Walt could have turned informant against the salamancas and fring." again stupid and the cartel would kill him and his family, also probably spend life in prison.
"Saul told him to be happy about winning the irish sweepstakes with fring dead and to walk away." There is nothing immoral about making meth, but I would agree he should have stopped when he had several million dollars.
