Un cantante fuori dal comune, da qualcuno descritto come la più bella voce del mondo, da qualcuno addirittura descritto come un extraterrestre per le sue qualità vocali!
Straordinaria estensione, fluidità incredibile tra i registri vocali, grande intonazione e precisione, timbro della voce che si modella e si adatta alle varie interpretazioni, ma sempre aggraziato ed equilibrato. Grande facilità sulle note basse ma anche una maestria nel cantare le note alte. Insomma una bella voce che vale la pena di essere scoperta!

Dimash non canta soltanto con la voce : canta con le mani, e con tutto il corpo. Non è un cantante che si deve semplicemente ascoltare, bisogna anche vederlo cantare, altrimenti si perde una gran parte del suo magnifico talento. Non c’è bisogno di capire le parole, si risentono tutti i sentimenti che riesce a trasmetterci. Potrebbe cantare l’elenco telefonico che sarebbe sempre emozionante come sempre. Sono Dear dal 2015, e ho seguito tutte le trasmissioni di « I am a singer », e da allora non l’ho più lasciato, e ho potuto assistere al suo cambiamento, sia di voce che di fisico, e non mi stanco mai di ascoltarlo. E non sono una groopie di 17 anni, ne ho 72, più o meno l’età di sua nonna. Dimash non è soltanto un cantante straordinario, è anche un umano bello fuori e dentro, decente e umile. Le auguro il più gran bene, e di continuare a regalare il suo gran talento a tutti i suoi Dears.

Anch'io ho 72 anni ...sono 4 anni che lo ascolto.....amo tutto di lui ..... secondo me si nasce artisti....lui e' nato x stare sul palco....nn c'è il minimo dubbio ...gli auguro tutta la felicità del mondo....e che Dio lo protegga!!!!!!

Dimash begins sitting by playing the piano, soft voice and then stands up and continues. Dimash's English vocalizations strike me about the same way as his Italian vocalizations struck you, Valy. For a non-native singer, it's quite okay, but it's obvious he's a foreign singer. He doesn't have mastery of the long i sound in English, among other small defects.
Who cares? Not me.
When I first heard Dimash - it was only a year ago - I was amazed at his vocal techniques. But there is more to Dimash than that.
His techniques do not bury the song's message. They amplify it. The song is speaking through him, not being smothered by him. The result is mesmerizing. And it's a deliberate step away from contemporary pop, where vocal technique is very nearly the only thing that matters. Contemporary pop is a narcissist's paradise.
Is there a narcissist in Dimash?
Possibly. But if so, he's a narcissist with a passion for conveying each song's message. This is his art: he does not merely sing brilliantly. He makes us feel each song.
This is not a new thing in music. Of all instruments, the voice is the best suited to making us feel emotions. But I think that contemporary pop has largely lost sight of that aspect of vocal music. Whitney Houston, Demi Lovato, excellent singers like them have fallen into a trap. Their songs are vehicles for proving their vocal mastery. The end result appears in imitators, who use ever more complicated vocal gymnastics to impress us, to the point of losing the song's meaning entirely.
Suppose you wanted to make a computer. You lavish tremendous attention on the screws that will hold the case together, polishing them, insisting on tight tolerances. Then you use cheap components and hope that the world would think you had built the best computer in the world. That is how I see contemporary pop music. Yes, the screws are important; without them, the computer will fall apart. But there is so much more to making a great computer.
Does that make sense?
Perhaps not. I have little talent for analogy. I will persist anyway.
Dimash's computer screws are almost without equal, but I notice also how he arranges instruments and backup vocalists. He often relies on them to execute mood shifts, to punctuate his art, to compliment it. He uses them to foreshadow what he will do, introducing a dramatic tension that is resolved when he does it. I think he is controlling every aspect of his performances. Even the lighting is subject to his control. He is considering the whole of the song, the whole of the musical experience. He is not building a computer by paying attention only to the screws.
Dimash is a control freak, but I say that in the most complimentary sense. He wants the audience to thoroughly understand each song, to experience it as emotion and message. He is more than a singer; he is a musical artist. Everything in his concerts is paint to his brush.
I hope some of what Dimash is doing will rub off on little Daneliya Tureshova, the multilingual 12-year-old Kazakhi enfant terrible now terrorizing the world's judges in vocal competitions, bringing them to tears. She is merely a singer, today, albeit one stuffed to the gills with talent. Dimash has moved to another level. If she follows him there, the world will shake.

Premesso che amo Dimash e lo ascolto più e più volte, secondo te, tecnicamente nel punto in cui dice "we won't let go" verso la fine percepisco, al contrario del solito, un certo sforzo... forse è l'unica volta che percepisco la voce leggermente "sforzata"...... sottolineo che sto cercando il pelo nell'uovo .... questa interpretazione è straordinaria

Oggi sono proprio nella più grande emozione...finalmente trovo una. Coach vocale non solo bella e simpatica ma anche una grande influencer che analizza con caparbietà e vive le emozioni come noi che ascoltiamo...premetto io ho conosciuto dimash in TV all apertura di sochi,poi da allora lo seguo in tutto quello che fa ..la cosa che in assoluto e fuori da questo pianeta ed è incredibile e che se ascolti più volte i brani non mi stanco mai ,e ancora più e come se fosse la prima volta . trasferisce emozione e comunicazione dei testi in qualsiasi lingua lui canti e ti arriva una sassata diretta al cuore..creando una magia e amore.sono contento che ,tu valy ci sei e il modo con cui colori la tua voce mi attacca letteralmente al video...ne seguo anche altri ma tu sei la migliore ..io se posso ti chiedo di fare altre reazioni sui nuovi brani,,per esempio ogni pietra l ultimissimo Messico ,screaminglay love e così in sempre più casi..grazie sei simpaticissima e soprattutto una grande professionista del canto...quello vero. Love is like a dream é un'altra performance che SOLO DIMASH può fare(G1 ed A1 in vocal fry, utilizzo di diminuendo perfetti, risonanza spaventosa ai toni baritonali, voce da soprano(falsettone?), E5 in voce mista supportata alla perfezione(19 secondi). Una reaction sarebbe perfetta.
