Che dire.. una capacità espressiva e tecnica al di fuori del comune. Un talento indubbio.. Così si nasce e si migliora con lo studio e l'esperienza, come un vero atleta, mi piacerebbe infatti sapere chi è il suo coach o il suo team e sono sicuro che alla base della sua preparazione ci sono anche tecniche yoga e di meditazione, perché è come se, cantando, si distaccasse dalla realtà.. come se quasi non esistesse nessuno attorno a lui mentre si esibisce. Armonia fisica e mentale. Un canto interno, intimo, una potenza e grazia che arrivano da un qualche punto, si incanalano e si sprigionano attraverso di lui. Una forma di preghiera. E capirne l'emozione.. nel momento in cui dici "ho i brividi.." bè, li avevo anch'io nello stesso istante. Il risultato del senso del canto, almeno secondo me.. non solo un'esibizione, ma una forma emotiva che diventa un dono verso gli altri.

Wow! Hello è un bellissimo brano di Lionel Richie che io ho sempre amato! Certo che neanch'io mi aspettavo quel vocalizzo arabeggiante in Hello, che in realtà avrebbe potuto inserire in qualsiasi altro brano malinconico e che comunque, proprio per la sorpresa, rende Dimash sempre grande ed unico! Devo però dire che trovo la timbrica di Richie in questa canzone assolutamente perfetta. Comunque Dimash è Dimash e stupisce sia per la scelta che per le sue grandi qualità! E anche questa volta la tua analisi è azzeccata!

Hello from America. I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my RUclips recommendations for over a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation" and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera. I came across your channel, and like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, his delivery, as well as his stage presence.
I will finish all of your Dimash reactions today. I appreciate your professional, informative, and educational analysis and commentaries. You are certainly among the top of my favorite channels.
Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim 3 hours every day to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance.
From what I gathered, he started singing and piano lessons at the age of five and was found to have perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master’s class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with Honours, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career.
His range is about 7 octaves now and ranges from a rich bass-baritone through to an extremely high soprano and whistle register. He has even hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato. However, Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums.

He changes a little bit the lyrics, both times when the lyric says "I love you".
At 3:28 of your video he sang "Wo ai ni". That's "I love you" in Chinese, the main language of the audience. You can hear the public "rising" with that "adaptation".
At the end of the song, at 6:24 of your video, he sang "Wo ai ni" again.
Few seconds later, at 6:37, he sang "men seni suyemin". That's "I love you" in his mother language, Kazakh.

Check out Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique. He is around the same age as Dimash and can reach most of the same notes. Gabriel has done a few songs of Whitney Houston's and Mariah Carey's. His latest I WISH I COULD FLY was not to my taste at all as he did not build his voice at all in that one like Dimash does. Take care.

As you probably already know, Dimash's rendition of "Hello" was a guest performance on "I am a Singer 2018". At the end of the second verse, Dimash sang "I love you" in Mandarin ("Wo ai ni") to the Chinese audience, and again in the third verse, adding "I love you" in Kazakh, before whispering "Thank you" in Mandarin at the end.
