    I’m an intermediate player and have checked out a lot of RUclips content and studied jazz privately for years.., and for some reason I can’t quite articulate I think this is my new favorite channel! There is some freshness to the approach which is rejuvenating!! Love this!!

    The cool thing is that you can play any note in any order in the scale you are playing and make it work with any of the chords in that scale.

    Dude, this is a really great lesson. There is so much presented here, and in the most basic and easy to comprehend manner. Maybe not for first time beginners, but your whole "feel and hear and know" emphasis is right on.

    Beautiful lesson, man! Loved the video you did with Paul Davids, as well. I've been wanting to get into playing jazz for ages now, but for someone who's theory is lacking a bit and who mostly plays by ear, most jazz lessons can be a bit intimidating. Even though your method of teaching is a bit more abstract than others, I finally understand some elements that I've been struggling with for a long time.     do you have the score for c triads in the positions over the neck that you might wanna share? of course its better to make an effort finding theme on my own which i did but what i really would like to know is the way you finger over them.. don't want acquire any bad habits.
