William tutorials are a Great addition to your lineup Pangolin!!
Thank you!
Hi William. Thank you. What I like about the tutorial is the workflow around creating the 4 different image versions. Thank you.
Thank you for the quality content. I get tired of seeing gear videos.
Glad you like them!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing these super useful tips/tricks🙏🙏
Great video thanks. I’ve never thought of doing different edits for printing, social media and my portfolio. I tend not to enter competitions with my photos.
Hey William. Been looking forward to seeing your content. Great videos
Thanks a lot Ken! Really appreciate it
Super tutorial Will!🙂
Excellent!
Very nice. I definately saved this one for future reference. Thanks so much.
Thank you, very helpful video.
You're welcome!
Very useful! Thanks.
Very helpful Will. I'll be coming back to this one again as I work on similar images. Please keep those tutorials coming!
Great video, William; and good ideas to follow; My wife Kate and I sat opposite you one evening at the Pangolin Hotel, enjoying the company and everything Pangolin had to offer. Thank you
One of the best video in recent times. Detailing about the post processing for various occasions. Well done Williams
Thank you so much, that is very kind!
@@williamsteelphotography Williams, it would be g8 if we have video of post processing from start to finish for fine art printing like a wallpaper, photo frame etc. I've been searching for it but not much help for wildlife perspective. Please include selection of paper, printing formats and widely used formats for selling.
Thank you 😊
A pleasure!
Good video .Thanks very much .
A pleasure 😊
Definitely
Quick and to the point!
Thank you!
Very interesting. I had not thought of doing different edits for different purposes, except alternative crops. I like the portfolio edit the most, and that is what I would print
Glad you enjoyed it Jonathan!
@William Steel hi William, do you know how I can apply for a job at Pangolin?
Very informative! Thank you!
A pleasure, thanks Jay!
Love the edit thoughts, now I must review some images that are somewhat similar to those...keep up the great work !!
What a morning this was! Hope you are well Walt!?
Hi William, great video your explanations through each step and scenario was very easy to follow I am still learning lightroom but will definitely use processes that you used thanks so much can’t wait till the next one cheers John
You're very welcome!
Thanks a lot John! Glad the video helps!
very interesting. Thank You very much !
Glad you enjoyed it Walter!
Another great video William. I've never considered editing images differently for different scenarios. The only thing I alter is the crop
Thank you.
While I could certainly see the differences between the 4 types of processing, it isn't clear to me why, e.g. the processing for competitions and your portfolio need be different. I liked the "portfolio" processing better than the competition. And I couldn't see that the differences were significant enough in the portfolio processing to disqualify for a competition . And for printing, which is more dramatic, that wouldn't also work for a competition? I thought your reasoning for each was fascinating but given the variation in judges' thinking, I am still a bit confused. The video was well done!
Wow! Great video, William! I really appreciate the "why" that accompanied each of your steps. You had me, step by step, from the beginning till the end. And I'll be returning to this video often. I wonder if you would post the text and images of this in Pangolin's blog? I'd like to be able to refer to during my own LR work. Thanks again.
Thank you so much Michael for the kind words! Really glad you enjoyed it. We will certainly be turning this into a blog in the near future, I will let you know when it is up!
That was awesome. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Mike!
Excellent piece. Perhaps the second lion’s face could have been brightened. Felt it was too much in the shadow.
Yep
great info William, can you use TopazAI DeNoise or Lightroom AI De Noise for Pangolin competitions? The latest competition talks about excluding AI generated images but not about Topaz AI DeNoise or LR AI denoise?
Please show Photoshop Editing and Adobe RAW conversions
Maybe in a future video! That being said the principles are largely the same 😊
We'd love to come back to Botswana and work with you - but my wife isn't that keen on photography. Any special pricing for this scenario?
Hi Scott. Check out the Best of Botswana safari on our site...well suited to photogs and their non-photog partners. www.pangolinphoto.com/safaris/11-day-best-of-botswana-safari
Persoanlly i would print the portfolio one in color. I don't care for the B&W.
That's what makes photography an artform, it's subjective! 🙂 I prefer the scene in colour too
Great Video but I use PS only
Thanks for sharing
