This is why dodge did us scatpack drivers a huge favor because we are running the exact same engine & power but pay less on the insurance side because the scat isn't considered a real race car because dodge purposely put the scatpack in the r/t category for that reason & that reason only. I can bet all scatpack drivers have a cheaper insurance rate than anybody who owns a srt.

they combined all variants of srt in the newer scat packs. i own a 21 wide body scat challenger on 305s fully loaded and everything is literally the same. we just get better suspension.

Bro its a widebody its not a rt scat pack nor does it say rt on any of the widebody sticker. Widebody is a srt392 but only with a widebody kit and its package. Pretty much the 2020 and up widebody is the upgraded version with a bge block as well. Love the srt392 but lets get it right
Naw dodge didn't make the Scatpack into the RT for insurance purposes. They specifically said they wanted the RT community to feel empowered because they we're feeling left behind in 2012, so they switched the game in 2015 for affordability SRT will always cost more than RT and more recognizable. RT Scatpack is never going to be same in value

Wide body in my opinion isn’t a good buy. I’ve seen some for 50-60k with base model cloth seats. Most of the time SRT 392s come fully optioned. Including adaptive cruise sun roof etc.

I think the reason why Dodge doesn’t consider Scat Pack an SRT product is because the Scat pack trim came out way before SRT was established. So while it uses SRT technology, they have to consider it a Dodge product. Not exactly sure, but that could be why

The base model of that car is a normal sports car, grand sport is lighter, made out of aluminum, upgraded brakes, upgraded oiling system, mag ride, with the widebody and wider tires. Rt just stands for road and track so it’s a 392 road and track with scat pack package basically I had a 2020 and had to get the whole scoop about dodge and srt split in 2017 so that’s why the scat pack was reborn and the 392 srt was discontinued then in 2020 they reconciled their differences and made the red eyes and stuff

Same car different tune and suspension helps you take off faster, that’s why the demon so hard to beat on take off the suspension is perfect for a drag car they spent thousands testing and developing that suspension bro ps the 800+ horses helps too😂

‘19 Scat you have to add dynamic package for 6 piston and 275’s. So basically you have to add options to the Scat to make it like the SRT 392’s
