    Agree 100% with the guest's opinion. This happened five minutes from my childhood home, it's absolutely unfathomable to me such a crime could happen due to stalking, from a relationship ten years ago. I have had a brief experience with a stalking from a relationship 30 years ago, we briefly reunited, but his behavior really scared me, and I abruptly stopped communicating with him. Now after seeing this trial coverage, I think I made the right decision.

    Are defense attorneys trained to makeup theories just to get their clients from being found guilty? Do defense attorneys care about truth and if their client is guilty? Do they want to win at any cost? Do they feel good and believe that if the state did not make the jury vote not guilty -- then even if the client is guilty -- it does not matter. Does truth matter to defense attorneys?

    Kouri Richins case: Until this letter there was a chance that one juror possibly could have reasonable doubt. Even "If" She is totally innocent, this letter is devastating. If that was for a book she sure doesn't know how to write, or take notes to write. That letter to the common person screams narcissist, manipulative and guilty. The walk the dog letter is the final nail in her coffin. The best she can do now is hope for a plea deal and I do not see the prosecution offering any deal now!

    Ruby/Jodi case: I can see Ruby potentially taking a plea but I do not see Jodi taking one. She is a manipulator and narcissist who is insistent that it’s her way or no way. She does not care if a child has to be retraumatized and she has gotten away with abuse in the past, but I do believe her luck has run out.

    The defence alone that he broke into her home after she had already increased security just to talk to her is completely insane. The lawyers should be committed as well.
    In Ruby Franke's case you also don't want to put the children through this because abused children, even as adults, often are gaslit/parentified and blame themselves for getting their parents in trouble. So they have to sit in a courtroom they think their parents are sitting in because of them.

  • @kevinhornbuckle
    @kevinhornbuckle Год назад +9

    Rudy Franke apparently has narcissistic personality disorder. How would the prosecution bring this into evidence? Character evidence/propensity evidence can come in if it can be shown it was the means to the crime. A forensic psychologist can watch Ruby Franke’s videos and describe the sadistic tend in her behavior. Similarly, Jodi Hildebrandt’s “work” as a relationship counselor can be debunked by experts in the field. So then why were these two women able to achieve contrary ends to their ostensible objectives (child well-being and marital stability) for so long? They did it through fraud and deception, which is what narcissists do. And they don’t stop. They are untreatable.

    I really think people throw “narcissist” around way too much lately.. however, this Franke lady seems 100% just that. Putting your abused children on such display on a platform such as RUclips without a choice for your own praise and gain and income and then denying them of basic necessities is sick on every level No matter what you call it.

  • @Medra207

    Rubi Franke case: I don't see a plea deal and this case. 1) Rubi has already laid out her defense and made horrific allegations against her youngest son. She want her day in court because she is a narcissist and has to prove to everyone she is right! 2) As much as the state does not want to have to put a child on the stand to testify against their parents who have abused them. I believe they're going to take this to court to make an example of her. To show a community of family vloggers, and to bring to light the overexposure and mental cruelty that comes with blasting your children 24/7 online. 3) This case is more about Jodi Hildebrandt than anything else! The case with Rubi we'll have to go to trial to bring to light the multitude of victims that Jodi Hildebrandt has destroyed. For Rubi's husband and children are the foundation of this case that allows all these other cases to be brought in.

So I get it justice doesn't matter its who puts on the best show especially when your rich and afford to buy justice. I think I'm sick but we know how the so called justice system works. The poor can't afford to play the system like the wealthy.

    The Utah mothers should be charged with actual torture. There is zero defense of these women’s actions. There is no space for any form of defense. Seriously. People that torture children must be severely prosecuted. The only leeway would be determining what prison they go to. No pleas negotiated. Just charge them fully and give them life without parole. End of story. These children will unfortunately have to live their lives out forever with the trauma. These women will never see the errors of their ways! They are evil and narcissistic sick humans. No excuse. Not even insanity. These children fully helpless. Hero child who was able to actually get away. He is the hero. His actions have save the rest of his siblings. To the adult child that had moved away she is the one that could put the nails in the coffins. These children must seek peace. The father who abandoned his children should also be held in some form of accountability. No way these women will ever see their children again. Terminate parental rights.
