- While Kamen Rider Ryuki did a complete overhaul in what audiences could expect from a Kamen Rider series thanks to its Highlander-esque storyline, Kamen Rider 555 was streamlined to be more like a standard Kamen Rider series. At least, as standard as one can get while being a J Drama like only Toshiki Inoue can provide. In fact, unlike with Hibiki, nothing of interest happened during 555’s production. Is Kamen Rider 555 as boring as its production history? Or is this one show worth riding on? Let’s find out.

Psyga is played by Peter Ho who is probably one of the most famous Taiwanese actors in the 2000s. He was in tons of Chinese shows that aired in alot of South East Asian countries. I was shooked when I learned that he was in Paradise Lost. Its pretty awesome that Toei was able to cast him.

@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork There's a Taiwanese TV series about a historical figure in China named "Liu Bowen". Peter Ho played the titular character, which is arguably his most recognizable role.
I watched this series when I was a kid along with some of my family members. It's a historical drama with tons of mystical elements in it, which is not something unfamiliar with historical dramas in China and Taiwan.
It was quite enjoyable, but my nostalgia could deceive me here as it's too long, and has a ton of characters.

Faiz’s tribute in Zi-O was one of the earliest in the show, before episode 10 I think, and it had Kusaka being revived by Takumi who’s reasoning for doing it was and I quote ‘I may hate you Kusaka, but you’re my friend, as much as I hate to admit it.’ And after that Zi-O has remained the only Rider show I haven’t finished.
How the hell was he able to revive him? That makes no sense.

Yeah pretty much the same thing on how I feel about Faiz, given it's cons I really like the show a lot and it's one of my favorites. Kinda wish they could go back having 3 or 4 riders instead having 12 or 18 like the reiwa era but gotta sell those toys
I'm just amazed Revice has kept itself restrained from having too many riders for so long.
I really enjoyed Lucky Clover. I wished like you said that they would've been utilized in a better way. Faiz has my overall favourite Rider designs and the fights are really good. However I kind of felt that somwhere during the halway point. The show became a bit of a chore to sit through. I feel like Faiz is by no means terrible but I feel like it becomes very much style over substance most of the time. I'm curious if I would enjoy it more upon rewatch. Anyway great review Kaiju! 👌
I will say the first time i watched 555 I wasn't in love with it. It is one that gets better with each viewing, though it does have some really bad dips.

Next to Kiva, Faiz is one of my absolute favorite seasons of the Phase 1 Heisei Era. The Orpnochs are also one of my favorite villian groups because of their design and presence. I especially love it when Kiba/Horse Orpnoch kills Kaixa by snapping his neck. Dude, had it coming and so did the Dragon Orpnoch when the King ate his face.

I really wanted to show Kaixa dying with Peter's, "I don't feel so good," dialog from Infinity War, but it would have been a major spoiler in the review. Thus, I went with the Crop Duster comment that was more ambiguous.
Yeah, best to save it for people who haven't seen it yet. I really hated how Yuka or the Crane Orponoch died. It was sad for her not to find happiness in the end and its also unfortunate because I really like the Lobster Orpnoch. Mr. J was also cool for his short time.

Not sure how I'm going ot tackle those yet. I might just do some big, "Sentai Anniversary Movies" video and a Kamen Rider one at some point. Or I might just tackle each movie as a mini review. Either way, they won't be edited in to the series review.

Characters from the one we should root for and the villains are all forgettable. Teruo was just a annoying kid with how badly it was written because it actually has a story but its so badly written even trying to ignore how bad it is gets annoying.
I really enjoyed the time i spent watching 555. Not a perfect show but theres alot to like about it and it is worth a watch. The whole look and feel of the show gave me flashbacks of all the Novellas i would watch with my family when i was a kid.
Interesting take on what it reminded you of. I like it a lot, I just wish the ending had been better.

you know what 555 is my 8th favorite kamen rider season yeah the ending is bad but the fights kicks ass as well as lost paradise i say your review on 555 was petty good hopefully you review kabuto soon next month cause kabuto is amazing and my 9th favorite season of kamen rider ever

I hated the friends and family who bullied Yuka. Especially the sister, who was helped by Yuka, and she did the worst possible thing to return the favor. I feel sorry for Yuka.
555 is may not my favorite KR show, but still enjoyable.
Yeah, Yuka did not deserve the hate she got. It's why I think getting rid of her family would have been justified.
Yuji got screwed over by his uncle, cousin AND ex-girlfriend.
He and Yuka are two people I couldn't blame for what they did in retaliation.
I just downloaded this season so I’m very intrigued now. Can’t wait to see what season you review next. But I never thought I’d see a Rider belt compared to a STD though… But hey GoGreen is a Rider and Master Kaku is in it so I’ll take it 😀 Also that theme song is a banger.

For me, Faiz was a fine show however for Toshiki Inoue as a rider writer I have a doubt on his writing quality. As a sentai writer he did a good job the reason why I like Jetman (as a main writer for Donbrother uhm where's the show's world building? but has good characterization to the character)
DonBrothers best thing at the moment is the mystery the show has. We dont fully know about the AR world at the moment but i feel we will start getting more answers soon.
There has been a lot of world buding in Donbrothers though. It's unraveling like a mystery, which I feel Sentai severly needed.

@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Unpopular opinion = Kyosuke didn't kill anyone in the show when I watched the second half of Hibiki. Hibiki had some good opinions in the 2nd half , it wasn't dark and horror this was all Inoue and Shirakura's fault , Hibiki didn’t reach the same high as its previous show Blade had , but it's not as bad as Faiz's 2nd half.

I remembered watching Paradise Lost as a kid, but the memory faded away as I didn't pay much attention to it. At that time, I thought it's just a weird movie my brother (if I recalled) watched on CD (didn't have a DVD player at the time).

Possibly. LIke I wish I had given Timeranger a 5 instead of a 4 and I do feel like I was a little too harsh on Bioman.

Takumi is honestly my favorite Phase 1 Heisei rider. He's not initially heroic, he's snippy, tempermental, and a bit of a dick. But i love his growth.
He definitely has great growth, so I think Shoichi from Agito had the best groth.
Faiz is a show that people either love or hate.....and I love it.
Yeah, the show is basicly all Inoue tropes in one list (and to be honest, I'm not a big fan of him) but this show does them right (except for the dissapointing ending) and was a blast to watch.

I’m glad you ended up liking it better this time. Definitely my second favorite rider show. It was extremely relatable at times and I truly felt like I was going on this journey with the characters. Overall a really solid melodrama that really stuck with me.
Well it's not that I didn't like it before, I did buy all 12 DVDs for $60 a volume back in 2004, it's just that the ending is what sticks out to me the most, especially since I hadn't watched the show since 2008.

Some time I get confused with the name of the show like spell zio but I say letters g o not zio or faiz not 555 Japanese logic goes nowhere with the language and handwriting😵
It's weird because Toei uses 555 in its logo, so that is what I go with. However, fansubbers spell it out as Faiz even though the English spelling is Phis. Now that I think of it, I should have mentioned this in the review. DOH!!
Now for Z-io, and even Zyuranger, that's because Z and J share the same sounds, so to us, it sounds like a J, but to the Japanese, it's dependent on which character is being used. The same goes for V and P and L and R.
As a fun fact, Faiz got a spanish dub alongside Kuuga, Agito and Ryuki in 2021.
Takumi's voice actor it's the same as Loki in the MCU movies.

It is also noted that Mr J lived in the hood until his parents moved him to Japan for reasons unknown as Japan always seems to be attacked by monsters Kaiju and the occasion of Godzilla 😂

To be honest Im not really dunking into the Kamen rider barrel more like putting a finger in it. I've only seen fourze zero one and some episodes of drive but I still am trying to get into it.

I think the movie Paradise Lost is really good, worthy of being one of the best kamen rider summer movies (for me it's second only to W's movie).

This’ll be cool and recently I just started watching Kamen rider Ichigou and I like it so far awesome main hero including Tachibana Tobei,Good side characters,excellent music,a pretty menacing organization with some creative villains for the time and fantastic special effects.

They stated that the Faiz and Kaixa gear were meant for orphenoch use exclusively. The Delta gear was meant to be usable for both Human and Orphenoch.

all the turning to dust reminded me of Buffy killing vampires. The monsters did look cool but I kind of wish they used more colors than mostly grey. was nice seeing monsters who killed miss the days when toku did that.

I honestly think Faiz is a good character driven series. The story itself can be confusing and at times predictable, but i love Takumi's attitude in the beginning and his growth to find his wish to protect dreams.
Most of the show is just well done and different.

I’ve seen more compendany writing n pretty cure fresh I’ve see maybe the first third too half off it up till we found out who was destined to become pure berry. That was a very long time ago that I watched part of that series back between middle of 2012 and 2016 I think.

What’s going on right now in geats reminds me of what happened to Yuji kiba. Michinaga gave up trying to save humanity from the Jyamato and now works with them, just like Yuji gave up on his dream of Orphnoch and humans living in harmony and became the penultimate villain as head of smart brain

Faiz is one of the most tragic Kamen rider series i have ever seen because most of the characters are dead. I think Kaido is the only the surviving member left.
Do you mean for the Orphnoch trio? I don't know as we never actually saw Kiba die. Kiba was holding the King when Takumi went to kick him and since the King survived, I'm sure Kiba did as well.
Have you seen the Kamen Rider yongou special? In the yongou special it features both Kaido and Takumi. It kinda explains what happens at the end of Faiz. I apologise if I have spoiled anything.
I’ve seen some sentia series all the way through that was several years ago. But I remember then very well. I never understood slash knew the reasons why saban decide to tell a vast majority of the canon events from zyurange. In in such a drastically different order chronologically was a smart decision. Then he turned it j to an extend fanfiction with American storey only canon events.
It was an interesting idea that fit with how children's shows were done at the time.
I guess so but I may may the storey chronologically in zyuranger hard for some people to follow. If they had only scene the American show with the drastically different canonically order.
Well some of the episodes were adapted out of order because Saban did not realize there was a sixth ranger in the show until they got to that episode, so they had to find episodes that did not have the sixth ranger footage in them while they cast their sixth.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork that explains some of them but why they do the lion goat monster after cyclops is storey ark when that monster showed up before das talos who storey got wrapped up in the American series. Das satan aka lokars in the American dubb never was after he retreated instead of blowing up.
So the show was originally planned to only be 40 episodes and it was going to end in a similar manner to how Zyuranger ended. However, due to how popular the show was, Fox asked Saban if he could continue the show for anotehr 20 episodes. Thus, they changed the ending to just end like a normal episode, took some Zyu episodes they originally skipped for time, and then got Toei to shoot new footage for them.
If 555 had camed out after the 2006 year the orphanauxs designer could take inspiration from the book “all tomorrows” to design the monsters cuz seriously if that wuold have appended the orphanaxs wuold have been the weirdest looking beasts in the entire franchise

Kamen Rider 555 is like the Ultraman Ace of Kamen Rider decent fights but alot of missed potential especially with certain characters and plot points.
I don't know if I could compare it to Ace since I think Ace blows. Probably more akin to Taro in my book. A lot of greatness undermined by awkward aspects.

Most definitely.
You know that scene from the 3rd episode of Loki when Sylvie unleashes a scream of pure, unadulterated rage? That was me watching 555. My fucking god is this season frustrating to watch.
How so?
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork First of all, I hate everyone in this show. All the characters are grossly unlikable with how needlessly cruel they are to each other, which makes the show feel miserable. What is it with Inoue making everyone hate each other for dumb reasons? I did not care for anyone here.
Secondly, 555 starts off with a strong mystery element, not unlike Inoue's masterpiece Agito, but unlike that season, 555 is vague in its explanations and introduces key plot points only to either do nothing with them or immediately drop them altogether. Remember how the Delta Gear gives powers to the user when they're not wearing it? Inoue doesn't. The fact that the show doesn’t even have a proper ending, until it was finally resolved *11 years later* just makes this even more infuriating.
Lastly, like 99% of Inoue's work (minus Agito), its conflicts are unbelievably forced and contrived. The endless frustration of the cast’s complete inability to talk to each other almost made me want to pull my hair out of pure rage. If the cast all had the ability to communicate clearly and honestly, most of the show’s major conflicts would be over in half the time. Hell, the series would be over before the episode count even reached double digits. The worst offender being the disagreement between Takumi and Kiva, which at one point becomes so ridiculous they’re having other characters pass on messages to each other for them. I was like "Oh my fucking god! JUST. TALK!!" half the time watching this show. I know Japanese culture is far more reserved when it comes to this kind of thing, but a lot of it here is just so mind-numbingly stupid that it brings the story to a crashing halt. Inoue just cannot for the life of him write natural conflicts (AGAIN, minus Agito to an extent). It's all forced.
Despite an interesting setup full of potential, the series is immediately weighed down with unlikeable characters, bad storytelling, plots and ideas that get introduced way too late to matter, the drama became way more unnecessary than before, many plot elements got resolved too quickly, too anti-climatically, dropped entirely, or just didn't make me care and an over-reliance on frustrating human drama that goes around in an endless circle.
I do not like 555 at all. Sorry not sorry, Agito is better.

I've just finished Faiz about a week ago, I'm here to see if I'm insane, just in case I pissed off more modern kamen rider fans with my opinions on Faiz. I can only say that Faiz writing quality seems to have dropped dramatically towards the end of the show. And I was rather disappointed because it started out so well! I even watched Paradise Lost & I felt like the movie special was a waste of my time.
It still has that thing about modern kamen riders that I don't like. What I don't like about modern kamen riders are how they all love to add so many side plots & side characters to the point they start to forget to end them properly or simply forget about them. Which is something even you pointed out in this review.
As for gimmicks, I like the fact the gimmicks are scarce, which is actually 1 of the main reasons I could enjoy Faiz. I was quite skeptical after watching Ryuki, I thought the gimmicks would be through the roof like the modern ones. So yeah, a pleasant surprise to me. I have been told by a modern kamen rider fans who love Faiz, his biggest complaint was how the belt flies off all the time, he explained it like it is done poorly. At 1st I thought Faiz handle the gimmick well, but as the show progresses, I can see why he think that.
I also like how Faiz doesn't over philosophize itself like Agito or Ryuki, they handle their mystery very well. Sometimes, simpler is just better. But I am still annoyed by something introduced by Ryuki; the cheapening of superpowered form. It is clearly seen on the Lucky Clovers & the latter eps of the show. They transforms so casually & so loosely just to punch each other, which they could very well do in their human forms just so they could lose time & time again. This makes the kamen rider looks weak (but excusable because they wear belts that falls off them all the time). But it makes the so-called intimidating & all-powerful Lucky Clovers look incompetent. You can argue that the evil organizations of the old kamen rider series sucks, but at least they have ambitions & grand plans which is actually going somewhere until they were stopped by the old kamen riders.
As for Music, I find myself can't stop listening to Dead or Alive. Justifaiz & Person With No Name are good as well.
As for the characters, I actually don't hate anyone. I'm actually glad Takumi isn't Shouji or Shinji.

for me I would give it a very solid 4.5/5 out Kamen riders its true their were somethings I didn't like about the show but i'm not going to let it I had a really good time with it plus I just love the desgin of Faiz
Yeah. This was the first time I watched the show in about 12 years and I was reminded why I fell in love with the show in the first place. Of course, the last 6 episodes also reminded me exactly what my main issues were with it.
Faiz is just such an awesome & gorgeous design, making him one of the absolute best Rider designs out there ever for me personally 👌🔥
@@Agito4774 Teruo was a fine character until the last few episodes though. Him being Orphnoch king felt quite shoehorned in; but I don't doubt that was the intention all along. I personally find the story Uninteresting since it's 2nd half , I am more a fan of episodes that each tell a different story than an overlapping storyline that goes through the show from beginning to end. I also didn’t liked the focus on drama through the show. And i also didn’t liked how Rina wasn't looking careful. She just felt well, unsuitable for the job. That was of course intended, but this is still nothing i really care for in an Rider show. I much more enjoy characters who don’t give a shit.

Saying the last six episodes were bad is generous. I counted the last ten as being pretty wretched. As you point out, way too much shit going on when they had 40 episodes to do all this, plot points get introduced or wrapped iether too late or not at all, and it felt more of a marathon of misery that just wouldn't end.
Still, Faiz is a solid show that's worth at least one watch. But it's one you should really stop after the forty episode mark personally speaking. Paradise Lost is pretty good though.
Even with its flaws, I will still take 555 over many other KR series.

Ah Faiz, easily my 4th most favorite Kamen Rider show from what i’ve seen so far as the whole series and movie (besides the show’s ending) were fantastic from start to finish and what carried the show for my enjoyment were the 2 main trios & their dynamic with each other, the gorgeous suits & fight scenes, Kaixa being a badass, and the J-drama aspect of the show which I really liked (cuz I loved Agito and this series is by the same writer so yeah) 👍😁
I wish Kamen Rider would have kept the drama aspects of the early shows.

Kamen Rider Faiz is my least favorite Rider season. I know shocking since I’m usually the more positive one when it comes to shows everyone hates. There’s allot of stuff that just comes out of nowhere, characters are wasted, and the villains are just awful. So many of the power ups just show up for now reason at all. Like, where did Kusaka get the Accel brace from? He just…… suddenly has it and gives it to Takumi for no reason. And there was also Mihara as Delta. Like, he’s supposed to be the official user of Delta……. But it literally gets wasted on him because he does nothing but get his ass handed to him every fight he’s in. I’d comment on Kusaka and how i hate him more than the show really wants me too, but enough people have already given their piece on the guy, so all I’ll say is fuck him. Kiba did nothing wrong and rest in piece for his actor. How this show went with Yuka was both depressing, and gut wrenching and the scars will never leave. Honestly, Paradise Lost was probably the only thing i really liked about Faiz. Not only do i think the film is good on its own but its honestly what i think the series should’ve been like. The Orphnoch sucked though. They barely had any characters worth remembering or caring about, other than the main ones that we’re supposed to root for like Kiba and Yuka, but Lucky Clover and the Orphnoch King just suck. Lucky Clover show up way too early and get killed off as soon as they appear, and the Orphnoch King literally just shows up at the very end of the show and dies as quickly as he came, not only giving the show an unsatisfying final boss, but also an unsatisfying ending too. Allot of the drama also felt really forced in my opinion. Most of the conflict is caused by Kusaka trying to pin Takumi and Kiba against each other, but i feel it would’ve been better had their conflict been more naturally done instead of Kusaka being the one to cause everything. The only thing i can say i really liked about this show was the suits. They’re really nicely designed and action scenes are really well done. But other then that i really didn’t like this series
Kusaka was given the Accel brace from his father after they had gotten the belts back from Takuma and Saeko.
Yuka was my favorite character. I also loved Kiba.

I strongly disagree on Paradise lost being one of the worst rider movie. It has its problems but still better than the countless recent ones.
To be fair, I think most of the Kamen Rider movies are bad, but I've always found myself completely bored with PL every time I had watched it. I'll take bad over boring. At least I can have fun with how bad something is.

Still, I would say that the writing for the movie is better than the writing for the TV show. Of course, you still have Hibiki, and Kiva's summer movies, Ghost and Drive's crossover movie, Let's Go! Kamen Rider and the entire Super Hero Taisen movie series to look forward to since, not that many people have a lot of positive things to say about those movies now, do they?!

To be short, I like Faiz but the problem with it is just it has a lot of unanswered question. Like where did the axcel watch come from or what the heck is wrong with Orphnoch DNA. But whatever, it's too late now and I did watch this season back when I was a sophomore in highschool. Anyway, who is my favorite rider? Leo aka Kamen Rider Psyga mainly because of his actor Peter Ho who was the first non Japanese speaking Kamen Rider and I did watch another movie he was in called Sophie's Revenge (I recommend that movie). Now I have to say the Orphnoch are the most racist villians in all of Tokusatsu because well just look at why they attack people and with the Lucky Clover I did think they were threatening until after a certain point and I heard the Tokucast say they should've appeared probably later on like towards the end of the first half of the show. Now the ending is questionable because well you don't if the King will be back or if he will ever recover cause he got hit pretty hard but still he ain't dead but whatever. The movie I don't really like the movie so much mainly because of the side characters in the movie. They just won't shut the hell up with their hatred because it's all they have and yeah no that's no excuse to hate people who are trying to save your sorry hids and frankly why should they. The only things that I liked honestly in Paradise Lost was of course Kamen Rider Psyga, his fight scenes and Kiba turning into Kamen Rider Orga. That's about it. Do I have a favorite fight scene? Yes two in fact. My first is Faiz vs the Centipede and Sea Cucumber Orphnoch and it was the first time Takami used the crimson smash (his Rider kick) in axcel form. The other is Psyga vs Faiz because of creative the fight was since it started in the stadium then went outside then in the hallway the back to the stadium. As for your rating I was expecting a 3 but it could go either way honestly as Faiz is still enjoyable.
I can't say the Orphnochs are racist, they just see humanity's inferiority, though, you do have an interesting point of view on that. Never thought of it that way.
The ending is a mess. We don't even actually get to see the final battle and nothing was answered about the Orphnochs. Like who the hell was Smart Lady?
Yeah Smart Lady is another unanswered question. Was she a human servant? An Orphnoch? What? I heard once that she was the butterfly Orphnoch but I can't find where I found that so I don't know.

Faiz base form is one of my favorites in Kamen rider it’s just so simple it works and I normally don’t like the base forms that much also the lighting effects during fights at night are awsome

I finished this show years ago and was the first kamen rider show I saw all the way thru, it has strong beginning weak middle and the ending is terrible.
I think the middle is a little weak in the mid-20s but then got great again in the 30s. Agreed on the ending though. No idea what the hell they were thinking.

Honestly, the thing I most couldn't stand throughout the whole show was the number of times past information, ideologies, and themes were restated episode by episode. I get that this was a weekly show that anyone could tune in on at any time, but the same things get repeated so often, it really highlights how small scale the story really is and how stretched out it feels over the 50 episodes.
Also, all of Lucky Clover were completely useless. None of them did anything interesting and constantly got their asses kicked, with the exception of Kitazaki, to the point where there was no tension and I just got bored every time the show decided to focus on them. Really, overwhelming majority of Smart Brain's Orphenochs were just a complete waste of the entire concept because we get no information on most of them. You'd think that for a series with a central theme of what makes a true monster that we'd get some information on the monsters of the week, but a third through the series we get no information on them and half of them just jump in from off screen to help Lucky Clover members.
Yeah, I don't think I can agree with you on this series being highly enjoyable. Imo, it just wasted almost all of its potential and some of Kamen Rider's best costume designs.
And there I thought they didn't have enough time to tell the whole story given how out of nowhere the Orphnoch Hunters appear and are gone with ease. However, there is nothing wrong with you disagreeing with me. I do agree with several points you have made.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork It's not so much that there isn't enough time so much as the middle of the series is so focused on love triangles within love triangles and peoples' alliances shifting due to misunderstandings that any ideas related to the plot got shoved to the final quarter. That's why the show feels so static throughout as Smart Brain has no real defined goal they're working towards prior to the introduction to the King. Compared to any of Inoue's other shows, they're weak as water as an antagonist group, and I don't know what happened considering he's usually pretty good at writing compelling antagonists.

Ok, so i'll state on why is 555 (Faiz) my second least favorite Phase 1 season, in my opinion the show had a decent start, things got somewhat more enjoyable once Kusucka was introduced, then it just fell apart once it reached the second half, and just completely crumbles around the 40s, i didn't care for most of 555 characters, including the main protagonist himself, the only time where i actually liked Takumi is during the revelation of his true nature arc, Keitaro and Mari weren't that great either, the lack of communication may have degraded the quality of this series however it's just best if they actually just sat down at least for a couple of times to resolve something, and once again the remaining episodes from the 40s were utter trash (that's saying something from someone who watched Saber's first arc), and finally the direction they didn't know what to do with the Lucky Clover generals thus completely changing their entire character.
Pros about 555
Yuka, Saeko, Kitazaki and Kiba are great characters
That's all they were the saving graces of the show for me
555 is a season that really disappointed me, I liked Kiva a lot and while i initially dropped Agito, i was still interested and had my expectations high, way too high
However if i may state it is the most tolerable out of my top 5.
Agito is hands down the better show.
I actually stopped at episode 10, but from what i saw of it it was decent.

Also, the novel omits Smart Brain, The Smart Lady, Lucky Clover, The Orphnoch Hunters, Hanagata, The Ryusei School massacre, Sawada, Rina, Shoji Mihara, the two cops, Chie, two Faiz power-ups, Auto Vajin, Side Bashhar, The Delta Gear, the Jet Sliger, Teruo, and the Orphnoch King.
Yeah, I never heard of it before, but honestly, I have no interest in novels. What matters to me is what was done in the show. However, it sounds like ti pretty much omits everything about 555.
