What’s great is they don’t even publish the numbers on the box or the lippert website. They list steps as 24” for single and double but they have different mounting flange sizes. Mine were 26” single and 25.25” double. So I needed a washer on one side and a 1/2” thick 1/2” nut over the 3/8” bolt that I had to swap to a longer bolt. I had two holes line up on each side and called it good. I also got a two piece bar in my box that I have no idea what to do with?

Thanks John for the video. The steps you installed and the 26 inch space between the RV mounting plates are going to be the same on my trailer. Question how many washers did you need to fill the 1/2 inch total gap on each side and what size bolts? 1/2 or 5/8ths? and length? I to want to replace my single step with the Lippert 2 step. Thanks George from Texas

I used 1 washer per bolt on each side. I believe I used 1/2 bolts. I did reuse 1 original bolt on the front for each side because of the square head to help lock it in place. Good luck

John thanks for the video. I want to do the same with my trailer changing from a single step to a double step. My mounting plates on trailer is the same 26 inches apart and I am getting the same steps you installed. My question is how many washers needed on each side to fill in the 1/2 total gap and what size bolts, 5/8 or 1/2 inch? Length?
    Thanks George from Texas
