Great demo man! The sound aesthetic with your chosen settings reminds me of what the Fortin Grind pedal would do in the Neural stuff I have :D
Oh what, really? Yeah I imagine that the Grind pedal is also fairly aggressive, I just never used it myself. I have a few new pedals that I will demo, soon, too!
@@mammothaudioengineering this pedal sounds really good. and the Fortin Grind is incredible. Check out what it did to my little 8100 valvestate 😁 I"m thinking about getting this pedal and combining it with my Fortin Grind.ruclips.net/video/bqN80DTJfMo/видео.html
Nice demo
Thank you very much!
Shit basically off bruh. Gotta eats dem guts cuzzo…..
Man this sounds so damn good both in the loop and in front. Excellent vid!
Thank you, man! I'm glad you liked it. I have opted to keeping it in the loop on my pedalboard because it changes the sound more drastically and that, to me, is cool!
@@mammothaudioengineering mine should be here in a couple days so I’m definitely going to try both loop and out front.
@@JeremyVarao have fun with it, man, it's a really cool pedal!
You didn’t messs with the internal trim pots !!!
True, but I didn't feel the need.
Would you chose this or the evil ned for "moderate" amount of chainsaw for modern/tech death metal?
Greetings, Witcher. Since I've never tried the Evil Ned and regularly use the Death Knob, I'll go with the Death Knob. I think it's genuinely awesome.
Lambert, Lambert, what a prick.
Cheers!
@@mammothaudioengineering I see, i also have a keeley modded metalzone and a tc eyemaster and a blender pedal, so i'm not sure i really need it, but i kinda dig the simple one knob design, way easier then throwing the eyemaster and the blender pedal both on my pedalboard, the keeley modded metalzone can do "subtle chainsaw" but it's a bit different from the hm-2 so i'm unsure but for sure it's cool design nevertheless.
-Not bad :)
Cheers!
@@krisania96 Well, I think the good thing here is if you want a different approach to the chainsaw tone, this will definitely cover a different area than the pedals you already have. The Keeley Metalzone is already amazing, but I don't think I'd call it subtle. The DK lives in the loop of my amps these days and given that fact alone, it will definitely change things up for you, especially if you decide to use it with an amp directly instead of going with your pedals. And another idea that I enjoy: it pairs incredibly well with an octaver before it. Blending in a lower octave just does things things to my soul.
@@mammothaudioengineering now that thing you mentioned with the octaver got me interested.
@@krisania96 I did a video on my pedal board build where I showcase that tone! I think it's a good demonstration of what I am describing!
Great demo man
Thank you very much!
