A. You decide to take the path to the village: You would really love to find a souvenir and perhaps one of the townsfolk can tell you a little more about the forest. You wander down the path and cross the street into the little town. People are strolling around the village in good cheer. Most of them seem to be carrying steaming mugs of cider and donuts dusted with sugar. Your stomach growls and you realize you haven’t eaten since breakfast. You follow your nose into a bustling little bakery. The scents of nutmeg and freshly brewed coffee greet you at the door and you are excited to see rows of pumpkin-shaped pastries behind the glass. You ask for a sugared donut and a to-go mug of cider. The owner behind the counter asks if you are new to town. You explain that you are staying in the little cottage just down the way. She claps her hands and exclaims “Oh how lovely! I’ve stayed there myself once or twice, it’s a beautiful place to admire the autumn leaves.” You nod and mention that you might like to go for a walk through the woods to admire the leaves tomorrow. “That’s a wonderful idea” she agrees. “Just be mindful to stay on the trail, the forest is said to be enchanted and you never know where it may take you if you leave the path.” You thank her for her wisdom and turn to leave the shop. She calls out to you and you turn back around. “I almost forgot to mention, it’s also best not to eat forest food. You never know what it might be enchanted with. Enjoy your walk!” B. You decide to enter the forest: What’s the worst that can happen? You think to yourself, stepping through the trees. As you enter the woods, you hear the crunch of leaves under your feet and the sunlight warms your skin. You are filled with an oddly comforting sense of calm. You notice the flecks of gold dust everywhere, but when you try to take a closer look, it always floats away. Out of the corner of your eye you think you see tiny sparkles, but when you turn your head, nothing is there. Perhaps it was a trick of the light, but you could have sworn you saw a tiny winged creature peeking out from behind a tree. As you round a corner you stumble across a crackling fire in the middle of the woods. No one seems to be tending to it, but it seems to be burning bright. You realize you have discovered the reason for the delicious scents wafting through the woods. Above the fire sits a large black cauldron, filled to the brim with popcorn, seemingly coated with a sticky caramel-toffee. A slightly smaller cauldron sits just beside the fire, simmering with something that looks and smells an awful lot like cinnamon apple cider. Your stomach growls. You realize you haven’t eaten since breakfast and suddenly that popcorn is looking quite tempting. You reach out your hand and pause, surely no one would miss a handful of popcorn, would they? On the sun dappled path I would hug one tree and then another giving thanks and blessings to the beauty surrounding me. Nearing the tantalizing toffee popcorn and the warm apple cider, I would settle on a nearby log~ wait and watch for the woodland forest inhabitant to show themselves as I place a prismatic crystal on the other log nearby and wait for the sun to create and play with the bright tiny millions of rainbows. An adorable little cherubic elf in a brown and orange outfit peers over the top of a rock and looks right at me. His brown eyes under riotous coppery red curls twinkled with mischief and friendly curiosity. Hello I whispered and gestured for him to take the prismatic stone. Tis yours in exchange for a bit of your popcorn and fine cider if you would please. Why yes of course you seem polite and of good manners, plus possess incredible magic to harness the sun into rainbows The elf said reached for the stone and graciously pocketed it. Thank you sweet lass come now eat and drink your fill. I did and was soon whisked to a realm so beautiful and magical off the beaten I did not want to ever leave....until I missed those I truly loved....and knew the rainbow stone would be key to getting home! Home sweet Home!

I was excited when I found this channel this morning. The music is very soothing and beautiful. However, after listening for only 15 min, there were loud and obnoxious ads every 4 minutes. I get it, you want to make money with the ads, but you have ruined the ambiance of this beautiful music in the process. I won’t be back.
