13 Linux Command Every Linux Admin Should Know

- In this video, we are going to learn the most frequently used Linux command which is used on a daily based by Linux Admins.
1- df -Th - to check mount points
2- du -sh - this is used to check file/folder size
3- lsof --- to check open files on system/server
4- netstat tunlp -- to check open ports on the system/server
5- nmap A ServerIP -- to check open ports on remote server/system
6- pwd --- to check your current working directory
7- ls -larth -- to check file and recent files in your current directory
8- lsblk --- to check available disks on your server/system
9- uname -r. -- check kernel version and arch
10- alias --- to create your new commands and shortcuts of commands
11- chmod --- to change the permission of files and directories
12- chown --- to change ownership of files/folders.
13- locate --- to find available files on the server if you don't know location of the file.
