- I absolutely love this #Jeep #Wrangler4xe If only they made it in a 2-door! But I know, where would they put the battery? #Cars

My only complaint is the loud motor. It’s a 2.0 but sounds as loud as a Cummins Diesel 😂
Yeah but people love Cummins! 😂
Very good review - thanks. Willys is the model I would get. Love the setup, wheels, etc. I’d still opt for the v6 - but the dealers in my area seem to stock the Wrangler mostly in 4xe. BTW - what color was the Jeep - Earl Clearcoat? PS glad you showed the engine bay- a lot of reviews skip. Thanks !
It is no hassel getting in the back with the hard top, but who wants that? And a Bronco is a Jeep that drinks bud light...
Thanks, Man. I am looking for a job. I have two interviews this week. Please pray for me.
My 2024 4xe willys is at the dealers service dept for the 2nd time. At 200 miles 12 volt battery out of power and hybrid battery as well, then again at 500 miles. The first time it was thought that it sat on the lot without being driven long enough that the 12v battery was at a low state. They charged it or whatever but two weeks later same problem again so now I am concearned its a deeper issue. I read on the 4xe forum the 12 volt batteries they source are garbage.
I always dreamed of a Jeep, I’ve been with my Toyota Sienna since 2016, It’s the Price for the Jeep, I haven’t purchased yet…. Blessings to you🕊
Speaking of antenna in the windshield, my 71 Buick Riviera has an antenna in the windshield. Also a gas cap behind the license plate. They really wanted to hide anything that broke up the flow of the body. It makes total sense on a jeep though, because you don't want a branch breaking or whipping it. I'm surprised they didn't do it earlier.
I'm surprised it was that old! That's so cool
I kinda like the antenna on my 2018 JL, it gives the retro feel like …a Jeep. But I don’t mind my 2024 4xe has antenna in the wind shield, and glad it is Gorilla glass.
My jeeps have always eaten windshields and radiators. Guess just a Jeep thing. Doubling or tripling the price of a windshield makes no sense.
I got a 2024 willys 4xe and i dont have the juicebox thing. Is it standard equipment??
I think it may be an upgrade
like it but the price , top down and heater on fun fall drive
It is undoubtedly pricey.
Great review on the Jeep 4byE. Looking good with the Go-tee or is it a soul patch? Haha, any way, I didn’t think Jeep was still doing the soft tops. All the ones I see have the hard top in my area. Keep up the excellent reviews, stay Strong and Encouraged. By brother in the Gospel. Genesis 15:1
I have shaved to just a mustache at the moment, don't know if it will make it into a video. Videos come out kinda randomly so next week I might have short hair and no facial hair.... And i'll be in shorts haha. Who knows! Well I guess I do..
Great review!
Regarding the top, you can choose hard or soft. Many dealers can swap a hard top on their lot to soft top and save you $1400.
But most 4xe are sold with hard top as that is simply a preference by most 4xe buyers.
@@DZ-cm5xw, I fully understand regarding the option. Just in SoCal, you don't See many soft top here.
@@donaldhenderson3495 totally understandable especially in California where small crime are rampant. Anyone with a box cutter can get into a softtop.
Does the 4xe have the ability to use gas to regenerate the battery for electric use?
It has regenerative braking, but I do not believe the gas affects it.
On a 2024 4xe, yes you can use your gas engine to charge the battery, sort of, in a slow pace. Switch to “eSave” mode, the engine will charge the battery when the vehicle is driving even without using regenerative breaking.
All 21-24 4XEs have the esave option, uses gas all the time to keep the battery fully charged or recharge it
Also, when you’re off-roading in 4L it only uses gas and charges the battery at the same time. It can do both electric or gas in 4H
Have you ever fully or significantly charge the battery from 0% using eSave?
I never be able to for my 2024.
It looks like even at eSave, the Jeep is still in a hybrid mode which still consume battery.
I’m just here for the amazing locations

Ahh yes, The Garage and The Lodge. Classic locations that tower over the landscapes in the intro.
Normally I’m right there with you and I love Jeep, but you lost me on this one. The “4XE” is at the top of almost every list of the least reliable vehicles. I love the idea of electric and hybrid cars but the tech just isn’t there yet.
Edit to add, my 2022 Gladiator regularly averages 21 mpg so I’m not sure that the hybrid option changes that much.
See but I feel like Jeep's have had reliability issues forever. Consumer Reports ranked the Jeep Wrangler in general as one of their least reliable cars. So I'm sort of approaching this with the mindset that amongst all the Jeeps, which have had reliability problems for years, this one is the most fun to drive and daily out of the ones I've had the opportunity to experience.
@@AlphaShark yeah, I’m working on my doctorate at Liberty University and wrote a research paper covering the financials of Stellantis. I’ll always love Wranglers and only have a Gladiator now because a Wrangler isn’t practical for starting a family, but there’s no doubt that they’ve taken a dip in quality over the past few years. In the past, the reliability wasn’t as big of an issue since they were so easy to work on and parts were so available. But now, especially with the hybrid options, you practically need an engineering degree just to diagnose certain problems.
I hope doctorate work goes well! My sister graduated from Liberty a few years back. Yeah, I mean I just can't say this one is worse than the others, it's unfortunate they've developed the reputation they have. But it doesn't make them any less fun to drive for me. I mean the new Gladiator has a manual option that has been critically rinsed like the dishes for breaking down all the time. It seems like they all have issues.
@@robertmartin6957just curious, why a Gladiator is better suited for family over a Wrangler? I think it is the other way around.
I think it may be a misunderstanding about the MPG of Wrangler 4xe, I always thought after the battery reaches 0%, the Jeep would have around 20 MPG driving on its gas engine. But the reality is quite different. I get about 30 to 35 mpg after the battery is less than 1%. So it looks like the Jeep is always a hybrid after the EV range is gone, which make sense as even at less than 1% “displayed” battery charge, the battery still have 15% juice remaining but only allows you to drive in hybrid mode.
These 4XE's have 3 cooling systems: what can possibly go wrong? And this is coming from a person who owns a 2023 Wrangler Willys with V-6, manual tranny, and crank windows.
Wow I haven’t realized so many of the comments are negative! Sounds like the 4xE is very hinky when it comes to reliability.
@@AlphaShark A mechanic on YT gives one of these a thorough going over check that out.
2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL Sport S Willys 4XE!
When I go to work, I have to charge my Jeep every night and again at lunch time. My job is 35 miles from the house. It's horrible. I hope they would get a better batter with more than 21 mpg. It should be at least 40 to 60.
Thanks for the review but would be ideal to have separation of church and automobile lol..
Thanks for your opinion Steve :)
It is pronounced Williss, not Willies 🏴☠️😎🦆
Dually noted! I never knew that
What you talking about Willis?
You couldn't give me a 4xE. no thanks.
I will never trade my Toyota for a JEEP. STELLANTIS is a poorly run company a d build crap
