I have a pegboard for all of my yarn too. I had a bunch of large bolts though that I used instead of the hooks that usually go with the pegboard. I primarily use the really chunky yarn though so I don't have as much yarn on it as I would like. The pegboard itself ends up looking like decor with all the colors.
Get some mounting puddy for the bottom corners. So 1, it does bang around every time you open and close the door and 2 for added stability. you can also add a few bits half way down on the edges. between the screws and the puddy it will be fine.
You are my crafting soulmate lol!! I do resin work, apparel & just started tufting. I dont know if I'll do a youtube channel, but I love all your stuff. You do everything! Love love love it! 🤗
I love watching you do the rugs. I originally started with your channel when you did resin. I make resin jewelry(925 sterling silver and 18k gold plated) and decor. I love the new adventure you are on.
You know what I love most about your DoorPegBoard? You can easily take it with you and set it up even if you move. Also, don't forget the power of Zip Ties. If you add on you can just zip tie it together.
It's *so* good to see you being *you* again. From a long time lurker, it makes me so happy to see you this happy about what you're doing. ❤ Always stay true to yourself. Xx
Only because I know you were worried about the screws scratching the door, you might want to consider hanging an old sheet or something behind the peg board. The backs of the hooks might scratch 😬 I hope the peg board works the way you want it too! Can't wait to see 😁
Would lino-stamping the raw peg board work? 🤔😲 It reminds me of your paper and cards. Also, check out the back of your peg board while it's hanging to see what the Hook vs Door situation is like. If they're going to damage it, maybe you could try using the black felt and/or some scrap rug-backer to protect the door. Or engineer some sort of spacer for the back of the board so there's a gap.
Hey i have a question!?? I know ive sen it in another video, just cant remember which one.. but the cloth tags you put on the bottom of your rugs, how do you apply them do your rugs ? Can you do a Tutorial video!? Im interested in seeing the process!
I was telling my partner about tufting and showing him some of your work and his response was "that looks like an expensive hobby, you already have an expensive hobby, pack in looking at more hobbies" 😅
I haven't seen you in a while; you seem totally out of it, especially in the beginning of this video.. I'm not trying to be mean or obnoxious; just stating what I feel, If no one likes my comment, I'm not here to argue; just let it go.

What if you just use the peg board for the lose ones like the yarn you've used. Since you don't have enough room for all of it.

I love seeing what you are up to while we are just hanging out and waiting on stream to start lol
Could you add a washer before you put the screw in? Then you can tighten them?

Awesome rugs dude! I appreciate you explaining the intricacies of the practice.
Thank you so much!! Of course! 💕
The ice-cream line and the gradient look awesome 🎉🎉❤
Thank you so much Becca! 💕
I saw you post the finished keyboard rugs on Instagram! They look so good together, like they're made for opposites.
Great introduction 😎🌻
Love your videos!❤
😂 I love the stream to video inception, I'm like I was there 🙋
I would buy one of the keyboard rugs if I wasn’t broke right now lol.

Oooooooo lino stamping would be cool!! Yooooou are so right. I’ll have to figure something out for that 😅
I’ve been wanting to start tufting for a long time. But I live in a studio. Do you think it’s possible?
Yeahhhhhhh.
You need to get some rubber stick on type feet so it stands away from the door.
Yooooou right you right!
When are you thinking of for the next rug drop?..

For context I make macrame so I already spend a fortune on cord 😅
LMAOO!! They’re not wrong with the expensive part 😂

Lol oh. I didn’t feel totally out of it 🤷🏻♀️
@@ArtsyMadwoman Happy to hear that ❣️
No because why did you feel the need to say that? 💀
What a completely weird thing to comment.
