My theory on the leeks breaking is the timer that makes seeds despawn if they are left on the ground too long. That should NOT have happened with the grown plants, but it doesn't keep happening which is good.
Other things:
The loud noise was the repeaters hitting the autoarm.
A small reminder that tungsten makes the chemistry lab, unlocking plastic and other things.
Pretty sure it's actually getting the event started. I had a set of the corn going and then started the event mission and the corn despawned. Haven't had any issue with the replanted stuff.

Don't forget, you can set up an infinite byte farm using one of the resource plants (with multiple resource items), a power source, auto arm, platform, and research chamber. The caves tend to have higher value resource items.
22:30 you need a button repeater to activate the proximity; and one of the collectibles on the arm to filter so the arm won’t grab seeds.

FYI, the auto arm WILL fill the canister on top of the EXO platform if the auto arm is positioned correctly.

While soup is worth more points per item, a full load of unknown biofuel will make much more points, soup can store up to 24 in the medium fluid canister, plus the 8 side slots, a full load is worth 2240 points, where as the unknown biofuel is stored in a medium has canister and this can hold 160 units, plus the 8 slots this gives a full load per launch of 9240 points, enough to complete the event with a single launch.
The amount of time per point is higher with unknown biofuel
That loud noise is the auto arm Turing on and off because the proximity repeater is too close to it. Just inch it a bit away and you’ll be good. No need for the delay repeater
The data chips are used to unlock the large resource canister and the large Rover seat type b. There's 10 chips in total, 5 type a and 5 type b. Hope this helps
The astronium comes from a rare squash variant
You should get the power extenders, that way, you just use base power to your factory garden
You can make the LEEK into scrap.
You can research the sturdy squash for easy bytes. They are only about 300 bytes but they only take about a minute to research and they grow very fast.
You should put your snail in the ball.
the reason way you got astronium was because there is a rare sturdy squash and it is purple and it drops a sample and asronium
if you like automation so much and you don't care for low and slow research points, you could do what i have done, tree, tap it auto to smelter, carbon, auto to research chamber. now its low amount and slow, but over time it build up and is a slow steady research amount =D.
It is corn. Maize is the native American word for corn and in game it's called Amaize. Obviously a play on words.

The medium storage silo is good, but only for tier 1 storage.
Delay repeater with the proximity switch on top. Flatten out the bottom of your plant hole.😅
hey i found that the train is OP, rails bring energy and oxygen where do you need and you can call the train from where you want in the rail, the rail it's built like the tethers and it cost for 10x 1 resin and 1 aluminum also it dig the path if the rail post is built near a wall or the top is too low
you can bring all the energy of your base to the portals easily, each rail post has power output...
also the rail is "transparent" i mean you can walk through it with rovers...
just need 1 station (maybe i think you need but maybe not idk), the train and wagons if you want and rail posts for the rail, also there are 3-way exchange...
It makes extenders functionally useless
Z if you want some bytes an easy way is to research organic it’s only worth 50 ea but it’s infinite with tappers. As well if you convert into carbon then it’s worth 75 ea. it’s not a lot, however it’s a constant automate-able and will add up over time while you do other things ( as well a source of extra power if you need it)
if u need bytes just use the sturdysquash samples in the research chamber
Z ain't gonna read this, but anyone else that does... A button repeater within range of the proximity repeater is the key. And a more shallow hole.
`I used 2 proximity repeaters like in the video he talked about. Since I don't know about them I had to experiment with location to get them to also replant the seed. After I got them in the correct location in relation between the 2 all I had to do was send the rocket off and take off the rewards when they showed up. I got all of the C and D circuits really fast in Xbox and Steam. I enjoyed this event more than the last one where I almost filled the huge flat platform with duplicate circuits just to get the 5 I needed.
I personally use the delay repeater, place the proximity repeater on top of the delay repeater, and set the delay to maximum, self powering, and minimal wiring necessary, just be sure your auto arm is outside the proximity area, so it's not turned on and off by the squash harvester.
@@MalfunctionNeo So using the proximity repeater on top of the delay repeater with the delay repeater set to maximum will do the same thing as using the 2 proximity sensors I'm using now. I noticed that if I placed the 2 proximity sensors too close together they made the noise also but, they did work good. Placing them further apart stopped the noise and they still worked to replant the seed. This is the first time I've used the proximity repeater.
Basically yep, but because the delay repeater waits for the 25 seconds, it doesn't retrigger the proximity straight away, causing a lot of noise as the two proximitys try to constantly retrigger... And you can move the whole setup without having to break it by picking up the delay repeater.
@@MalfunctionNeo If I place the 2 proximity repeaters away from each other they don't make the noise but still work like I need for them to. I got that from the video I watched about how to set up what I did for the event. It did work really well. If I continue doing the event I'll try the setup you're talking about to get more experience .
Keep the liquid canister on the rocket til it's full then put it on top n send it & repeat
Use 2 buttons when u trigger 1 the other turns on don't forget to set the auto arm to only pick up the squash or it will grab the buttons
You can put multiple tappers on one plant by the way
For now, you can shred the Leaks for scrap. 2 leaks per scrap.
I’m farming this now before it gets patched. Working on filling an extra large resource canister, currently at 1000 of 2000 😅
Its not going up becoz its out of the radius, you don't need the platform for the exo thing.

The leeks disappeared because u sent the rocket so stockpile SOUP untill u get the amount need then send it (if you dont send a full load of soap it will break the leek from my experience not 100% sure though)
READ the text on the data circuits!!! There are story clues there.
The squash disappearing is a bug caused by the event starting at the exo request rocket, reload a few times and move away from your base to get more to spawn, now you've started the event the issue won't reoccur.
Z did you know that you can add multiple trailers on your tractor?

I have no idea why your Tuberyl plants disappeared. Mine don't. (Also, don't forget to save the game frequently in a vehicle/shelter when on foot.)

That 3157 isn't your points for the event, it's the number of research bytes you have.
I've been using this type of farm for the event for a couple years... even have another autoarm set to grab astronium and put it in a resource canister.
Medium storage silo is nice, but it really ramps up when you get the large storage silo B... you can put twelve medium storage silos on it, great for the large rover. Even better, have another rover trailer with two of them loaded with medium resource canisters, can get you tons of resources...
