2 faulty hoods, not a good day for Buick. Polished nickels have greater longevity and are resistant to moisture. I've put them on Johnny Lightnings and won an 80 entry van tournament. Vantastic in Australia. Well done video Cheers!
This is why testing on multiple lanes is a problem... in order to get good repeatable data you need to eliminate as many variables as possible. Single lane testing against the clock is the way to go.
Not too many FTEs are ever really considered "fast"....at least in competition racing. My FTE Buick is actually Burgundy and not fast at all, i also have both corvettes and likewise......hope to see you hit the track again soon
I think the cars weight affects its performance on long tracks keeping its momentum but it takes longer to get to speed, the wheel weight on the other hand directly effects acceleration and speed, thats why fte are fte, they are really light, hollow wheels will typically be lighter therefore faster
I don't know whether the Lancer Evo X FTE is one of the fastest FTE HWs since this casting saw great success in 3dbotmaker's Diecast Rally Championship, not to mention how much momentum it carried into the finish line jump, making it fly.
FTE’s are faster out of the package most of the time. If the same minimal work is done to both, FTE is much faster. That’s why they’re better.

This always *killed* me and my friends during hot wheels racing debates when we where young! Thanks for the video.
Great comparison race. MrMomJoe is right we dont have a whole of FTEs in the Case of Awesome
I dont think a removable hood is a normal feature of hotwheels😂
You Have a very nice track, safety precautions needed for flying hoods :) . Nice comparisons of the cars and wheels..
Waivers people, get those waivers signed. 😜
1:40 They wanted to make it like a real ‘70s Chevy.
Just like in real life, the grand national falls apart. Lol
True about most GM products. Look great in the showroom though.
Man, I love your setup! This is my first vid I watched of yours. Instant sub

Hello where the best place to buy Silicone spray from ty Sir

Lighter wheels will spin up faster under the same torque, same as the 1:1s. So, yup.

Very cool, glad i stumbled onto your vid. New Sub
We need to test if red cars are faster than the other colours 😅
Question: do your hands always tremble that much, or was it caffeine related? That definitely will make it difficult fixing small little pieces.
My fastest mainlines are usually faster than there fte counterparts on our track but on some tracks FTEs are king 🤣😂 great video 👍
Maybe the nickle plating wears off over time not sure. Will keep racing and see🤔
I have a series on FTE’s VS. Standard version. I’m keeping score on how many times FTE win & looses....good race
I think there is too much play in the width of the lanes, the cars are bouncing side to side, losing lots of speed.
Nice love seeing fte's
6:56 blew an engine lol
What material did you use for the track
😍
This should be good
