Imo, as an id, barber outis is really good but as a BLEED id? No, escpecially when ring outis exists. I think she's meant to support future la mancha land id but not bleed archetype just like how middle don is having bleed in her kit but benefit more on being in envy res team.

I tried to make a team based around bloodfiend outis which basically means its a lust-bleed team and now the Kurokumo clan are finally useful (also I am using base Don don't judge me it works)
I think it's too early to cast judgement on her kit. Considering the 3 bleed IDs that are soft and hard-confirmed to come up (Gregor, rodya and don), bleed count will probably either take a backseat, or count will be easier to attain; this is especially true with the rodya ID that was teased in barber outis' own story, which if true (and isn't a butler sinclair or liu faust moment), will allow us to use arguably the best status-focused EGO in the game, Sanguine desire. In other words, let them cook

Well while Barber outis may advance in bleed potency more than bleed count, she is designed to be a bleed dps just like ring sang and Red eyes ryoshu while specializing in Slash nuking, so now we have Pierce, Blunt and Slash nukes on bleed with relatively interchangeable count providers, not to mention that she's the first bleed identity of this season, so we can expect more bleed count support to arrive in a moment. Similar case happened with Devyat rodion where a decent portion of people said she's not a good rupture identity until people found a work around, and with addition of west cinq meursault and fanghunt office hong lu following similar pattern, we can assure that we need to give it more time before coming to conclusions if the identity is really underwhelming or just needs more time to find work arounds of her flaws.
I also want to say that PM may also be working on the "playstyle" of Bleed aswell. Sinking wants clash wins, Rupture wants 15/3 stack and has multicoin ego, Burn has burn spreading, Tremor has debuffs and everlasting, and bleed.. wants clash losses or ties to make bleed damage be dealt. Ok hear me out, Barber Outis was designed with the chain battles philosophy. You don't want her early on in a fight because of how slow she is at ramping up. She's a "swap in" unit sort of like what Devyat Rodya wants but isn't. You'll want a strong bleed setup team initially, then have them die off due to clash losing or tying, thus bringing bloodfeast up and bringing Barber Outis in. The issue is though, as stated, Barber Outis has no count and thus we'll need something to replace Ring Outis.. which is a tall ask.
Oh I never tested it but if she's on the bench in a chain battle and noone else has bloodfeast does she count the bleed damage retroactively or will someone need to be on-board already with the gimmick? Honestly once a second Bloodfiend ID comes out that sort of playstyle where you field a tankier bloodfiend first and build up so when your main carry ID comes in later on they can basically immediately come online?
Honestly I consider the Ring Outis and Barber Outis ids with completely different roles despite both being bleed ids. Ring Outis is more about setting up bleed while Barber is more of a pay off with higher clashes and the majority of her damage coming from her skills rather than from bleed itself. If your looking purely to make a bleed team that wants to bleed an enemy to death I believe Ring Outis is superior. However, I lean towards Barboutis being a superior ID overall with powerful sustain, god tier clashes (+30 Offense level is no joke) and superior support for the more burst damage version of bleed with Ring Yi Sang
In all honesty I just assumed that it was thirty because that is the total number of stacks you can get with the scissors. I think I might have been mistaking her passive’s extra clash power for the scissor offense level boost. I still believe she is the superior id overall ^^
See I agree with one thing you mention about this and that’s the sin affinities she has. It would have been amazing if she got the clashable counter as a lust skill with an unbreakable coin like the original fight. I however disagree with everything else though, barber outis fulfills a completely different purpose from ring outis. Ring Outis is meant to support bleed by putting a lot of count on her enemies and cashing out with the multiple debuffs. She is a generalist support, no matter where you will put her she will work “somehow”,but not like a fully dedicated support ID to an archetype. Barber outis is meant to be a damage dealer/drain tank, she is meant to be in long fights but can excel very well in short ones her skills are meant to giving meaningful damage to bleed besides their own status effect damage kinda like Deluge with sinking or Dark Flame for burn. She provides a lot of raw damage and VERY good rolls on her skills, with scissors and also sewing target. Not to mention, she addresses one of the main issues bleed has, besides good egos unless you count like Wishing Cairn Don or Sanguine Desire Rodion, she provides AOE damage. It may not seem like a lot, but multi target damage is something bleed struggles with a lot. With her skill 3 and fully stacked scissors, in abno fights she can hit multiple parts of an abno to do more overall damage, if it comes with minions she can freely kill them to gain more scissors stacks and bloodfeast. In regular encounters, she will stack up her scissors and clean house, cutting down on a lot of time. Overall, she is the first in line of many more future bleed IDs that will support her and bloodfeast. I believe she is stronger than ring outis simply because she can sustain herself, fulfill her own conditionals, provide area damage and a completely new mechanic for bleed to interact with.

Barber Outis: Nah, I'd [[At 20+ Blood-tinged Scissorblades, deal +(Blood-tinged Scissorblades x 4)% more damage (max 120%)]] I actually agree with all things said here, which is strange. Normally, I would argue a lot, like I did with Spicebush problem. Barber Outis really seems more designed for Canto 7 specifically (bloodbags who gain count by themselves) or for faster MD clearing. She might get better if we get some support ids for her (maybe, Dulci Rodya or Priest Greg), which could affect her specifically or somehow the whole bloodfeast mechanic, but it certainly can bring up the problem of bloodfeast consumption. Overall, I really hope she would get some kind of synergy like Pequod Trio, it would certainly make her more exciting. Still, I like her drip and animations WAY more than the ones of Ring Outis. Sorry, painter girl, I'll still buy an acrylic stand for 550 Rub with you
I think that this video was right about Barber Outis, but with Preger and the imminent launch DulciRodya it shows that Barber Outis was just a normal dps instead of a bleed support, and with the Future Don ID I think that this team is only going to get better.
Dulci Rodya, appear before me and tear me asunder. Let me see your eyes as I expire. Also since her passive directly mentions a higher kindred I think there's a good chance that we might get an alternate base ID for Don if not just the seasonal ID.

I mean, ok, but if you are trying to take down a singular boss, you play rupture, not bleed, maybe sinking if its an abno. As a status bleed is subpar in concept, and bleed IDs are also not particularily good at maintaining it or building it up in the first place. Bleed does however have good IDs that do benefit from it, and that is pretty much the main appeal of the team, bleed conditionals. Also, Outis' self heal allows her to not worry about getting hit by cheap attacks and attack unopposed, and as far as my experience with the status goes unopposed attacks are quite good for building up the stack since they apply the status before enemy rolls their coins. And finally, she is designed as a backup ID for chain battles, because bleed damage that was dealt before bloodfiend enters the stage still counts towards bloodfeast, which allows her to quickly cash out for the bleed damage already dealt after the stack was already set up.
I have to say this about Barber Outis. Strong ID without the support needed to make them broken. However this is only the beginning of the canto and the season as a whole. As a result I have to say that she is going to get more support soon. Probably in the form of a Bleed Team that doesn’t care about how much bleed is on the target but rather how much is consumed by Bloodfeast. This would make the team a Bloodfeast team rather than a bleed team.
I feel like md is where you get the most value out of Ids in general. There is little to do with them otherwise in the months you wait for story content, railroads, or just grinding in general. Story stuff is done in the week it comes out, grinding is easy, and replaying railroads for whatever reason is all your left with. Not saying you're wrong, but I feel like it should be placed in higher consideration when you talk about Ids. Gifts kind of skew it too much for certain ones but you get more replays for it and actually are rewarded for playing them.
The most egregious part of her ID is her Counter, low numbers, only +1 Bleed Count, and doesn't actually help build up her kit at all. By the time the conditionals would make its numbers decent, you shouldn't be having to use her Counter anyways. And to top it all off, it's Gluttony, which doesn't have much use in a Bleed team.
@@nezeund She has her Skill 1 to provide the Gluttony resources for EGO. The problem with her Counter being Gluttony means her Lust Res. requirement on her passive is more difficult to trigger on demand. A Lust counter would allow her to contribute to the frequent Lust Res. passives across Bleed, including her own.

Slow down brother. We are like one step into the new season, the new chaper isn't even fully out yet, and you are already dissing the first bleed id. We will get like 3 - 5 more, that includes Dulecina Rodion aka an id that will finally make sanguire desire usable, so i doubt count will be an issue. And besides bleed count barber outshines ring in practicly every way.

Also, Ring does more damage with her s2 and has a better sin affinity spread, she doesn't just inflict far more count. I respect your opinion, even if I disagree. Imo you need to look into the future, gluttony might turn out to be very necessary for carmillia. Barber outis is also the first step into the first step to the bloodfeast gimmick, and there is much to come when it comes to that, we might get a support id that buffs other ids that consume bloodfeast. When it comes to Dulecina, Barber Outis uptie story confirms that she will be in the game, so dont worry. Great video btw.

I’ve not had any problems maintaining bleed count with hook Lu and r Merusalt on the team. Barber’s clashing and damage are so much better than ring Outis that I think it outweighs the extra bleed damage from the extra count.

im new to bleed teams, very much so. but from what i can tell, barber outis is honestly fine for bleed. she applies a bunch of potency, and i have pequodcliff and rhinosault supplying my bleed count for me. it works great enough in single target, which is where bleed seems to excell. mirror dungeon litterally doesn't care about count tho because of all the count in the EGO gifts, so she works even better there. all in all, barber outis looks like a sign of "haha screw bleed teams yall love, bloodfeast is the new meta for bleed"
Honestly she should perform incredibly well in an attack weight focused team. You fill your whole team with weighted skills and spam them to mow down crowded encounters. It lets you do minion fights stupid fast. (Assuming you dont have magic bullet...)
As someone with magic bullet, i find her aoe isn’t that useful (outside of walpurgis 2) so do what you will with that info (its only a one coin skill and often doesn’t deal much damage to enemies)
@@the_puzzlest you run her more so because of the number of targets hit. Think of it as a cleanup tool. After spicebush dawnclair and wildcliff run through everything there isnt that much health left to damage anyways.

I was hesitant of replacing kk with red eyes when she came up, but at the end count was still sustainable only because ringtis s2, yet i still think barber is way better at those massive mob clearing stages we have been getting on canto 7 since count is pointless there
An argument for barber would be that she works a lot better against chain battles or boss fights that summon ads, as her aoe allows you to focus more on the boss and let the ads get killed on the side. That and the fact that ring outis sucks at clashing with her s1 and 2, and barber does better at clashing. I do still think ring is better for the bleed niche at the moment tho
it's insane that at MAX RED EYES STACK, using her empowered S3 applies.... 5 bleed...PM gave her empowered skill 3 a roll of 33, heals SP and HP, +160% dmg at full stacks, yet gave her 5 bleed potency lmao. Status effects are so undertuned compared to raw dmg numbers and they're never going to fix this lol.

Well, guess I'll take the barber side because I'm boring with ring now. Also, I don't need bleed counts that much because there's so many bleed ego gifts in the mirror or railway way too op than IDS do, and MOST IMPORTANT that she has AOE attack weight, that's why.
Ay I got her first ten roll so wether she's bad or not doesn't really matter to me besides theres bound to be some ids that are not so good this season but to be fair she's a character that obviously has a connection with other future IDs that might make her just as if not better than ring outis even if that's a stretch but I really like this unit and the next blood fiend boss we fought after her is another one that seems to use the same bleed type gimmick but with more count than potency and her carnival gimmick seems crazy strong if it where to be used by a id but like wise I hope people manage to get her there first try if they want her but if it makes you feel any better she is pretty fun and when it comes down to attacking weak or stagger targets shes pretty crazy in mirror dungeon she does some fun damage even without a full bleed team

In all honesty I just assumed that it was thirty because that is the total number of stacks you can get with the scissors. I think I might have been mistaking her passive’s extra clash power for the scissor offense level boost. I still believe she is the superior id overall ^^

See I agree with one thing you mention about this and that’s the sin affinities she has. It would have been amazing if she got the clashable counter as a lust skill with an unbreakable coin like the original fight. I however disagree with everything else though, barber outis fulfills a completely different purpose from ring outis. Ring Outis is meant to support bleed by putting a lot of count on her enemies and cashing out with the multiple debuffs. She is a generalist support, no matter where you will put her she will work “somehow”,but not like a fully dedicated support ID to an archetype. Barber outis is meant to be a damage dealer/drain tank, she is meant to be in long fights but can excel very well in short ones her skills are meant to giving meaningful damage to bleed besides their own status effect damage kinda like Deluge with sinking or Dark Flame for burn. She provides a lot of raw damage and VERY good rolls on her skills, with scissors and also sewing target. Not to mention, she addresses one of the main issues bleed has, besides good egos unless you count like Wishing Cairn Don or Sanguine Desire Rodion, she provides AOE damage. It may not seem like a lot, but multi target damage is something bleed struggles with a lot. With her skill 3 and fully stacked scissors, in abno fights she can hit multiple parts of an abno to do more overall damage, if it comes with minions she can freely kill them to gain more scissors stacks and bloodfeast. In regular encounters, she will stack up her scissors and clean house, cutting down on a lot of time. Overall, she is the first in line of many more future bleed IDs that will support her and bloodfeast. I believe she is stronger than ring outis simply because she can sustain herself, fulfill her own conditionals, provide area damage and a completely new mechanic for bleed to interact with.
I think she's definitely designed with the future bloodfiends in mind. Dulcinea Rod + sanguine desire will probably make up for the loss in support.
She's bad because she doesn't have Barber's intoxicating laughter and squeals. I hope she's available as an announcer.

I actually agree with all things said here, which is strange. Normally, I would argue a lot, like I did with Spicebush problem. Barber Outis really seems more designed for Canto 7 specifically (bloodbags who gain count by themselves) or for faster MD clearing. She might get better if we get some support ids for her (maybe, Dulci Rodya or Priest Greg), which could affect her specifically or somehow the whole bloodfeast mechanic, but it certainly can bring up the problem of bloodfeast consumption.
Overall, I really hope she would get some kind of synergy like Pequod Trio, it would certainly make her more exciting. Still, I like her drip and animations WAY more than the ones of Ring Outis. Sorry, painter girl, I'll still buy an acrylic stand for 550 Rub with you
I think that this video was right about Barber Outis, but with Preger and the imminent launch DulciRodya it shows that Barber Outis was just a normal dps instead of a bleed support, and with the Future Don ID I think that this team is only going to get better.

it's mostly dependent on who has the first slot. My Yi Sang does double the damage of any other ID cuz he's in slot 1.
I mean, ok, but if you are trying to take down a singular boss, you play rupture, not bleed, maybe sinking if its an abno.
As a status bleed is subpar in concept, and bleed IDs are also not particularily good at maintaining it or building it up in the first place.
Bleed does however have good IDs that do benefit from it, and that is pretty much the main appeal of the team, bleed conditionals.
Also, Outis' self heal allows her to not worry about getting hit by cheap attacks and attack unopposed, and as far as my experience with the status goes unopposed attacks are quite good for building up the stack since they apply the status before enemy rolls their coins.
And finally, she is designed as a backup ID for chain battles, because bleed damage that was dealt before bloodfiend enters the stage still counts towards bloodfeast, which allows her to quickly cash out for the bleed damage already dealt after the stack was already set up.
I have to say this about Barber Outis. Strong ID without the support needed to make them broken. However this is only the beginning of the canto and the season as a whole. As a result I have to say that she is going to get more support soon. Probably in the form of a Bleed Team that doesn’t care about how much bleed is on the target but rather how much is consumed by Bloodfeast. This would make the team a Bloodfeast team rather than a bleed team.
I feel like md is where you get the most value out of Ids in general. There is little to do with them otherwise in the months you wait for story content, railroads, or just grinding in general. Story stuff is done in the week it comes out, grinding is easy, and replaying railroads for whatever reason is all your left with. Not saying you're wrong, but I feel like it should be placed in higher consideration when you talk about Ids. Gifts kind of skew it too much for certain ones but you get more replays for it and actually are rewarded for playing them.

The most egregious part of her ID is her Counter, low numbers, only +1 Bleed Count, and doesn't actually help build up her kit at all. By the time the conditionals would make its numbers decent, you shouldn't be having to use her Counter anyways. And to top it all off, it's Gluttony, which doesn't have much use in a Bleed team.

The problem with her Counter being Gluttony means her Lust Res. requirement on her passive is more difficult to trigger on demand. A Lust counter would allow her to contribute to the frequent Lust Res. passives across Bleed, including her own.

Slow down brother. We are like one step into the new season, the new chaper isn't even fully out yet, and you are already dissing the first bleed id. We will get like 3 - 5 more, that includes Dulecina Rodion aka an id that will finally make sanguire desire usable, so i doubt count will be an issue. And besides bleed count barber outshines ring in practicly every way.
The new chapter not being fully out is not even relevant here? I never said Bleed is bad, just that this ID sucks compared to Ring. Also, Ring does more damage with her s2 and has a better sin affinity spread, she doesn't just inflict far more count.

I respect your opinion, even if I disagree. Imo you need to look into the future, gluttony might turn out to be very necessary for carmillia. Barber outis is also the first step into the first step to the bloodfeast gimmick, and there is much to come when it comes to that, we might get a support id that buffs other ids that consume bloodfeast.

I’ve not had any problems maintaining bleed count with hook Lu and r Merusalt on the team. Barber’s clashing and damage are so much better than ring Outis that I think it outweighs the extra bleed damage from the extra count.
For my team i use her for pretty much the sin affinities that fits in my team thats a mix of bleed and rupture with ring yi sang and a flex ID.
Ring Outis inflicts more bleed BUT barber Outis certainly does more damage inside and outside of bleed teams. Compare damage numbers and youll see.

im new to bleed teams, very much so. but from what i can tell, barber outis is honestly fine for bleed. she applies a bunch of potency, and i have pequodcliff and rhinosault supplying my bleed count for me. it works great enough in single target, which is where bleed seems to excell. mirror dungeon litterally doesn't care about count tho because of all the count in the EGO gifts, so she works even better there. all in all, barber outis looks like a sign of "haha screw bleed teams yall love, bloodfeast is the new meta for bleed"

Honestly she should perform incredibly well in an attack weight focused team. You fill your whole team with weighted skills and spam them to mow down crowded encounters. It lets you do minion fights stupid fast. (Assuming you dont have magic bullet...)
As someone with magic bullet, i find her aoe isn’t that useful (outside of walpurgis 2) so do what you will with that info (its only a one coin skill and often doesn’t deal much damage to enemies)

I do hope there's gonna be a future Bleed ID in the near future where it synergises well with Barber Outis, maybe another Bloodfiend ID, hopefully

I was hesitant of replacing kk with red eyes when she came up, but at the end count was still sustainable only because ringtis s2, yet i still think barber is way better at those massive mob clearing stages we have been getting on canto 7 since count is pointless there
I guess she's good there, yeah, but that's kinda a 1-canto thing, and bleed is still gonna be mostly used on bosses.
An argument for barber would be that she works a lot better against chain battles or boss fights that summon ads, as her aoe allows you to focus more on the boss and let the ads get killed on the side. That and the fact that ring outis sucks at clashing with her s1 and 2, and barber does better at clashing. I do still think ring is better for the bleed niche at the moment tho

it's insane that at MAX RED EYES STACK, using her empowered S3 applies.... 5 bleed...PM gave her empowered skill 3 a roll of 33, heals SP and HP, +160% dmg at full stacks, yet gave her 5 bleed potency lmao. Status effects are so undertuned compared to raw dmg numbers and they're never going to fix this lol.

Ay I got her first ten roll so wether she's bad or not doesn't really matter to me besides theres bound to be some ids that are not so good this season but to be fair she's a character that obviously has a connection with other future IDs that might make her just as if not better than ring outis even if that's a stretch but I really like this unit and the next blood fiend boss we fought after her is another one that seems to use the same bleed type gimmick but with more count than potency and her carnival gimmick seems crazy strong if it where to be used by a id but like wise I hope people manage to get her there first try if they want her but if it makes you feel any better she is pretty fun and when it comes down to attacking weak or stagger targets shes pretty crazy in mirror dungeon she does some fun damage even without a full bleed team
