I'm pretty sure it is a Steel Pan Drum. They're awesome, and it is a lot more affordable than a hang drum.
What instrument is that? Its sounds and looks similar to a hang but is really small. Wicked cool sounding man.
Is that a "hang drum" ? A musically cultured friend told me about them. If it is what he was talking about, they are quite hard to make, made by very few craftsmen, and several THOUSAND USD$?
I think it's the "american" version- much more affordable and sometimes made from the bottom of a propane tank.. I could be wrong though
