3 months late, but I had this issue today. I had to update the firmware to V1.23, and the controller selection is supposed to be in the middle for the xbox. It worked after that, even with a controller with no batteries.

It will work on ps5 without an adapter if you are playing ps4 games on your ps5. If you want to play ps5 games on your ps5 it wont work without the adapter. So at that point instead of getting that stick and the dongle, just get a better stick.

can you use the octagonal gate in a sanwa jlf lever? i bought the mayflash f300 last month for ₹13200 = $160 approx. its very expensive in my country india

yes, and very easy to modify too. i have custom art and rgb buttons with a sanwa jlf lever on mine.

This stick is pretty slow. Fine for casual use or let your opponent use it so you will win. Even the new firmware claims to fix the latency to 1ms, there's still noticeable lag.
