I was born in the late wilderness years not too many years after the TV Movie, but I did get to watch a lot of my dad's Classic Doctor Who videos and DVD's. I remember looking at Doctor Who and Dalek websites, because, even before Christopher Eccleston portrayed a brilliant new 9th Doctor (Sadly I haven't yet seen Shalka), I had Doctor Who written into my brain. Especially Daleks.
Gonna have to second this. I don't exactly dislike David Tennant (though he could be irritating at times), but the quality of the later 10th Doctor stories left a LOT to be desired. That said I wasn't much of a fan of the Master in the new series. I just couldn't take him seriously as a villain or a threat.
Whats wrong with End of Time? I personally loved it, all I ever hear is hate though. I get his was a bit wingey when he was dying, but its a good epic story.
The biggest problems with End of time were the Master(not john simms fault) RTD just when bonkers with the writting of him, by being able to shoot lighting and pretty much fly. David tennants' doctor is it just way toooooooooooooooo much human by this point, the ending before he regen was dragged out. By the end of series 4 i was sick of the 10th doctor. The only saving grace, Bernard Cribbins the man is a legend and gentleman
As someone who got into Doctor Who with the new series, it's interesting hearing about the time the series was on hiatus from someone who was there... wait, how old is that guy. Well I've never read up on it that much so it's still interesting. Also, I loved the end.
I don't dislike David Tennant. What I really despise is the needy fangirls who are basically trying to crap all over the ethos of the show just because they think he's sexy. And the whole 'make David the Doctor again' made me want to go to their homes and scream in their faces. I may have gotten a bit carried away with this comment.
I wasn't joking at the end. I do genuinely miss the Wilderness years.
I imagine they were a lot better than sitting through Tennant.
Dimmeh Looming you should be a member of five who fans
When he showed the End of Time DVD box, I knew the crap will fly into the fan.
***** I know, I should have snapped disk one too.
Gotta love dimmeh
Thirty Years in the TARDIS.
It is canon but as a bad dream the doctor had
airpirate101 that would make sense

This video is the thing. The best thing since things started existing. Thank you so much for this!
JNT actually denied that he tried to make DIT cannon and give it a production code. The one shown on screen doesn't resemble the usual format.
Well...this Sam is now on my roadtrip list.

Awesome.
30 Years in the TARDIS. It's on the Legacy boxset.
What was the documentary he mentioned?

Same for me.
Ah, the Wilderness Years. Or, as I like to call them... 'The Dark Times'.
NOT END OF TIME!!!!
WALL MY CREDITS!

Christopher Eccleston should have played 10 so that Richard E Grant's 9 was canon!
I liked end of time, it's my favourite Tennant story
I say its 50 years old...
It is 50 years old, it just hasn't been consistently running for 50 years.
Great video, but Sam talks WAY too fast!
OH NO ZOMBIES
Is he one of those people who has an unreasonable, Dalek-like hatred of the revived series and can't move on from their overinflated nostalgia?
Nah; just someone who has taste in Doctor Who ;D
Dimmeh Looming You're mocking me, aren't you?
Oh no no no no no no no no no no.
Buzz, look, an alien!
Dimmeh Looming WHERE?!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha
