He recently did another smaller yt show, I wanna know or something...Best interview with Tim I've ever heard. Brilliant. I watched it right before this. Wish I hadn't closed the tab. I can't remember the guys name at all. It was recent though, within the past six months.

How in the hell did Tim develop his unique comedic chops growing up in Allentown Pa? I'm from Allentown and I'd be willing to bet 90% of Allentown's residents would be scratching their heads when it comes to Tim's style of comedy. BTW I checked out those crab salts, really elevated my game to a whole nother level.

Huge marc summers freak, as a kid my room was PLASTERED with posters of marc doing his thang, i would watch double dare religiously (taped every ep!). I swear i would just get absolutely lost in his eyes for hours listening to that sultry satin voice. Amazing pod! (All the parts of marc that is..) not sure who this tim guy is but best of luck with his endeavors.

I really enjoyed this. I would normally instinctively put Heidecker and Summers in opposite sides of comedy. One "cool" and the other "uncool." This excellent interview helps to dispel this simplistic interpretation. Also, realistically, Double Dare was cool, so what the hell do I know!?!

The Woody Allen comment is very revealing, and frankly refreshing given the way Woody is immortalized on On Cinema. We see so few glimpses of the real Tim, and that is a testament to how well he plays his character. The man is an enigma.
Also it is hilarious that Tim uses the phrase "jotting down notes" and a couple minutes later says he is a "Dylan freak". I don't think that was in any way planned. I like to think Bob would get a kick out of that. Great interview! Thank you!

Just watched the part you referred to... it definitely felt like Marc was itching to bring up Conan just to throw in his 2 cents and defend Leno for something Tim had no interest in at all. The rest of the interview seems great
