I can see the little refraction at 5:18. That's why I love your channel; you explain things, take time to try to show specimens at the best angle, and your pretty much the only rockhound that pays attention to the depth, and take the time to really try to show the parallax banding in so many agates. Thank you for this education and entertainment all at the same time. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Thanks for sharing your passion for Agates with us. I love your laugh when you are pleasantly surprised! It makes me smile. To think a dull, drab rock can be so beautiful inside! God's handiwork!❤
I´m thinking that all the time.... wanting to see the time-laps of agate creation!!! It´s almost impossible to fathom how many years it toke to form them and now we are looking at the complete wonder
I have a friend who was moving and gave me like a hundred thunder eggs... I'm beginning to think I should take them to the rock shop and have them cut one or two open. He also gave me agates, Petrified wood, green Oregon jade etc. ROFLMAO! They're sitting on my porch doing nothing but tripping me up when I go out to feed the birds. I think I'm just going to make a rock garden and what a garden it will be. I did tried selling them on Ebay, but my ignorance showed and I gave up. So it's rock garden time. Archeologists in the future will be saying "WHAT? What are THESE doing here." ROFLMAO! I love watching you cut Agates. Your glee cracks me up and "who couldn't love an agate", I too love the Boswallis. Thanks for cutting, I'm off to watch you cut some lake Superior Agates. Happy New year to you and yours and may this next year bring you monumental amount of agate joy! ;-)
Botswana agates are my favorite agates. There's something about the colors and formation that is just plain fascinating to me. What a great batch! Thanks for sharing!
I'm a rockhounder from oregon...one of the best place on the planet for rockhounding...ive been watching your channel for a couple of years now and you inspire me with your knowledge and sweet personality...God Bless You and yours
I hope you will put some of these Botswana agates in your Etsy shop. I’ve been to Botswana several times. My absolutely favorite country and I’d love to have one of these beautiful agates.
This was a good one. My wife and I love it when you get so excited and happy when you first see them cut open. I'd like to see a camera view of you so we can see as well as hear your reaction. After all laughter and positivity is infectious. Love what you do & it was your video's that my wife & I stumbled on about a year or so ago which really got us into rockhounding. So thank you for that:)
Hi, Taylor! Though I love Malawi agates for their colors and wavy bands the most, I must admit Botswana agates are just fantastic. So beautiful. Real treasure of nature.❤
Always beautiful, Botswana, always interesting. Thank you for sharing. Moved recently from Northern WI, will miss the Great Lakes, especially Superior. Currently in So. Texas. I plan on going to the Kokernot Ranch to do a agate hunt this next Spring..can't wait.
Botswana's are one of my favorites to play with. I like the ones that have purple in them. You don't find them very often, but when you do they are special.
Oh my goodness!!! So beautiful!! I make stained glass panels and I implemented agate, geode, amethyst , and fools gold in my last panel. It's so beautiful to see the sun going through it. I wish I could send you a pic
70yr old prospector here Some of those look like your flying into a portholes. Mountains an swirling clouds......yup its a porthole 😅 P.S. Love your videos KEEP ON ROCKIN !
Beautiful stones. I had a pretty serious table saw accident several years ago, so I've been concerned about seeing your fingers so close to a spinning blade. Thanks for showing that a lapidary sawblade is not as dangerous as a woodcutting sawblade.
DAMNED 😳🤯 what a gorgeous and beyond crazy band of line each of stone !! That's wild!!! 😍😍 Belated merry Christmas 😁 and hope u have a wicked new year !
I just found your channel earlier this evening. I have been binge watching all evening - it's now almost midnight. My Dad was a rock hunter, lapidary and jewelry maker. Warms my heart. 🥰 Your enthusiasm is contagious. I collect natural stones and I agree they ARE beautiful. God does great work!
I love agates. The outside looks so plain, and you open them up, so much beauty! I’m used to the agates in Montana, not so much in other places. These agates make me think of space, whereas the Montana ones, I see mountains and such.
Always fun videos. I love the Gem Shop, i have bought several thousand $ of cabs from them over the last few years for my jewlery. They always have such a wonderful selection to pick from. Keep up the great work.
YEAH, B E U A T I F U L🙏🙏🙏AND P E R F E C T first one....wow...5.40....strange formed, but very interesting. 7.50, together they looked like butterfly-wings. 8.30...I love Botswana Agat too, I am wondering a lot about HOW they get those patterns and colors 10.2o...looked like a diamant inside a hole!!!!!! A pity with that fracture12.30... the last, tja
I'm waiting on my next two paychecks to feel financially comfortable after I buy the 6" Hi tech lap saw. My 5 pounds of african malawi agate nodules are waiting to be cut. XD
I’m not a big fracture fan either - for the one, I would either break or saw on the fracture and probably tumble the halves after shaping a bit on the saw. Sawed then tumbled agates can be spectacular as well.
Thanks for watching! You rock 🪨
Bwahahahaa love your work. Love the vibe. Rock on 😁
No. YOU ROCK! ❤

the craziest thing is we haven't been able to recreate it! we haven't grown agate in a lab yet
Once again, all studs, no duds! You always make me smile with your videos❤😊

The speckled banding looks like stardust. Beautiful. I don't care about the fractures, it makes them real.
I totally agree!
Botswanas are my favorite. That last one was so stunning! Thank you for sharing 😊❤️
I've loved rocks since I was a small child. These Botswana agates are the best and I could watch you cut them all day. So beautiful!!
Botswana agates are my favorite agates. There's something about the colors and formation that is just plain fascinating to me. What a great batch! Thanks for sharing!
Just what I needed to see after watching the news.
I'm so sick these days, but I'm smiling for you inside. So beautiful. Thank you.💗
So sorry to hear that!
Awwww, I hope you get better! ❤
The second, “ghostly” one looks like one could fall into it. It doesn’t “punch”, but it is mesmerizing.
It's so deep! ❤
I appreciate the combination of colors in agates, so beautiful

Stunners. I'm always amazed at the fact that the sides are very different in places when you use such a thin blade.
Oh my goodness!!! So beautiful!! I make stained glass panels and I implemented agate, geode, amethyst , and fools gold in my last panel. It's so beautiful to see the sun going through it. I wish I could send you a pic
