Hai, I graduated bachelor's degree in biotechnology. Is +2 mathematics is mandatory for applying pg diploma for biotechnology because I persue home science in higher secondary ( no maths)?
If you have already done Msc medical biotech in india , why have you applied in such pg diploma course and why not in Phd ?
Very nice video. My question is do we need to have pre-assessment skill test in maths also for this course , or only for English it will be taken. Because on website, it is mentioned either maths/English test. Pls inform me this if giving math assessment is mandatory, as English assessment. Thank you
No math assessment is not necessary for Advance Biotechnology fast track course. Only English.

Bro you said during Co-op we have to ask for funds from back home in India. But if the Co-op is for 5 days can we work part-time for 2 days (during the weekend) for 20 hours, so that we can manage the living expenses such as rent, groceries etc?

Is co up paid in this or not, means if we choose co up, do we get paid for work or not? 3. Like if co-up is available, and we didnt choose that, so during that time, does our next semester continues or we will get a break for that period?

The co-op is not .You will be having co-op for 8 months and that’s optional is what I suppose .

If she is not willing to do PhD then its fine, but if she is willing to study further then try any of advance diploma or pg diploma course of her interest, after completing it she will definitely find a job and then she can grow further.

Does the biotechnology 1year fast-track program in centennial college offers 3years pgwp?
FastTrack is 2 years program with 4 semester
Normal biotechnology course is of 3 years with 6 semester

Hi there! It's been a while since I've been watching your videos and I'd say Its really informative. I've completed my bachelor's in Pharmacy, It's of 4 year degree, but when I consult with the agent for visa process they were convincing me not to apply for this course as It's undergraduate diploma and I already did undergrad so there would be a high risk of visa rejection. could you tell me if it's true? or shouldn't I apply for this course for this reason?

Hi... No it wont affect your visa but I would if you have 4 years pf bachelors and 80%+ academic score and also good financial support then try university.
There are limited seats but doing masters will be much more valuable.
Even if you apply and don't get selected in university, side by side apply in colleges as a backup plan.
Getting into a college is much easier and dpnt worry about visa rejection, you just need to have strong convincing SOP.

Yes but also keep in mind that you have to mention your course completion date in which you are occupied right now, and if they feel that you are fulfilling all the criteria they will give you conditional offer letter. Also, there are lot many people asking for this, so there is lot of processing they do before giving conditonal offer letter.
Hello, I've just applied for biotechnology fast track (1 yr), I want to know is it worth it? Can we get into field job after the course??
I would say there are much variety in jobs. Mostly it will be laboratory technician or quality control. However, you can progress in designation but i would like to warn you in prior that don't expect any extraordinary pay in starting. Also, I would like to add that if you can then get at least 1 year of work experience from back home, as that will help you a lot with CRS score building. Currently, from my batch 95% of students are struggling with scores and category draw, as laboratory technician category is not in their demand, thus we all have to rely on CEC or General draws with score under 495.

Here post secondary diploma program is after completing 12th grade of secondary schooling.
College comes under tertiary education and provides certificates, diplomas, on sometime bachelor degree.
We as an international can opt for fast track post secondary advance diploma courses as we already have bachelor from India.
Here, Tertiary education is mostly to pile up certificate and diploma certificate in our resume, to get job in better job in the industry.

Fasttrack course always starts from 3rd sem

The course starting date is May 2024 and finishing date is August 2025 they mentioned in offer letter
@@spiritualwisdom-bhagavadgi9734 still its more than a year right. See their one sem is of 4 months. And as you are joining from 3rd sem you need to reach until sem 6. So 3-4-5-6, thats how it is 4 semester course. Simple biotechnology is 6 semester course.

1. No you don't need math, but yes there will be certain subjects where lots of calculations are going on, but not to worry... you we will get through it.
2. It is a language test (English), which centennial conduct, and they offer you subjects, which can help you grow in report writing, developing language skills for professional environment.

BSc medical is very much different from biotechnology. you can try for Medical lab technician course or nursing if you just want to come to Canada based on diploma course. Or else I would suggest you can ty for masters degree relevant to your medical field and then move further with that.
there will be some pre admission test or licensing test for doctors. I don't have clear idea about that but surely I have heard that there are some tests / licensing to be done for doctors.
