    I had a tough time from 13-21 with so many stories to tell.... However being forced out was one of the worst experiences of my life. Here's the breakdown on what happened.

      Depressed ain’t the word bro. I’m going to die a lonely broken hearted man. Seems like no one wants me anymore. Tired of being used cheated on lonely and broken hearted. I do love myself. Don’t get me wrong. I was raped by three high school bullies in the seventh grade. Barebacked and breeding makes me the way I am. My wife of 14 years left me for my stepsons best friend. I lost my 30 year driving career. Lost my son. I’m giving up y’all. All I want is to be Held and loved. I am gay now and I’m a Bottom looking for a Top and soulmate forever ♾. 479-439-3110. I am 53 and I still have issues about being gay.
    We need to realise that we live in a world, still, where being gay is still looked at as being 'abnormal', 'wrong', 'odd', 'dirty', etc etc....All that nastiness and hatred gets under the skin and we end up (without having any control over it) internalising this homophobia.
    We all must stick together, right the wrongs, support our brothers and sisters, and keep fighting for our rights.
    Thank you so much for putting your own personal story out there....Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
    Be strong young man :-)

    Our coming out stories are so spot on..it's a little crazy. I was forced out when I was 18 and a senior in high school. I was terrified of anyone ever finding out in school because the handful of gay kids at my school were treated horrible and were social outcasts. Not only from my classmates, but I was terrified of my family finding out as well. I knew I was different from a fairly young age..5 or so. I didn't know what it was..I just knew I was different from other boys. As I got older..around 12/13 ..I knew that I was gay. I'm the last and only male in my family to carry on the name and I felt a huge amount of pressure to continue the line. I seemed to be the token favorite of my grandparents. I was very self aware. When I was 15 I wrote a contract out between myself and God that I wouldn't be gay and that I would marry a woman and have kids. I even signed and dated it. Lol ..I feel so sad for that kid. I've always been a good natured, loving, and understanding guy...so I never deserved what had happened to me. I started becoming popular my freshman year of high school. I was my class's president for 3years and student body president my senior year...homecoming king...etc. I made good grades...in honors classes..was on the golf team..student council..honor society...etc etc. My best friend was a year ahead of me...and when he started college we both came out to each other on the same night. It was so nice having his support and we always built each other up. I sarted going to a few gay parties with him and a girl he had graduated with was at one of these parties. Although I didnt know her...she knew me. She had a younger sister that was a sophomore at my school. Most people knew who I was from being student body president...and she started telling people I was at this gay party and that I was gay. I must have been dancing with a guy at the party...or something lol..for her to draw that conclusion. My friends all started coming to me asking if I had heard what people were saying about me. I hadnt...but the proceeded to tell me that this girl was saying I was at this party..and that I was gay. As you did...I totally just shut down and felt like the world was crashing down around me. Around this same time I had met my first ever boyfriend...I was head over heels for him. I never experienced those feelings before...its like a natural high. That's probably why I said "fuck it...yeah I'm gay...who cares?" I was hoping that maybe it wouldn't have been such a big deal to people...but I was wrong about that. I had never dealt with being bullied like I was. Guys would push me down the stairs...slam me into lockers...they wrote "faggot" on my locker...yelled"faggot" down the hallways. They would pour pop on my car...that was a brand new mustang that I paid for myself by working...they keyed "faggot" on it...drew pictures. All of my guy friends dropped me...friends I had since elementary school...they wouldnt even look at me. I had just a small group of girlfriends that stood by me.But the worst part is when they started calling my parents house phone...leaving messages on the answering machine...saying the worst things about me ever. I had to rush home every day after school to delete the messages because I was terrified of my parents or sister finding out. I would get text messages all the time from people harassing me. I even got letters in the mail from people. It was awful. :( It got so bad I was forced to tell my mom about it...she knew something was wrong..but she had no idea of everything that was happening. She said she knew that I was gay from the time I was a little boy and that she loved me no matter what...which was wonderful to hear. But when I told her about school. ..I've never seen her so upset and emotional in my entire life. She had a meeting w me and the principals...and their only suggestion was to get my last english credit and graduate early. I went from being student body president...to a complete social outcast..in a matter of only 5 or 6months. It was like my world was flipped upside down. It destroyed me...and I turned to things that would take the pain away...that I would never have done under normal circumstances. I started using drugs...and I shut everyone out of my life for several years. I'm 34 now...and those experiences still affect me..but I've learned to deal with it in healtheir ways. I've been in recovery for 8 years now and things are a lot better. I cried when I was listening to your story...because I know that kind of pain. It's the most lonely feeling in the entire world. Thank you for sharing...I know that it will help those that have experienced it...or are now just going through it. That we aren't alone...its something that should bond people together. Sorry for the book! Lol..I just had to comment!

    Thank you for sharing your story. A similar thing happened to me in my early 30s. Even though I was already out to my immediate family, I dated a guy who outed me to not only my extended family, but to a whole bunch of strangers. It was a very traumatic experience for my immediate family for that to happen. That relationship ended very quickly and to this day, my relatives treat me differently, but I'm okay with it, because I'm comfortable in my own skin. If anyone doesn't want to get to know me because I'm gay, so be it. This is who I am, love me or leave me.

I have another friend who was outed by a then straight friend and three years later that friend got divorced and my friend gave him a place to live and they been together 5yrs now. Hello Sweetheart!!! THANK YOU so much for sharing your story with all of us. I have seen so many of these coming out stories and they all seem to personify what is good in the gay community. I had come out nearly 30 years ago and although time has changed since I came out....you kids are coming out even earlier than I did at 27. Although my family knew before I came out I came out for my self out of necessity and out of not being able to do it any sooner. I had come from a dysfunctional home so coming out then was not an option for me.....so later on in my life I chose to come out to my mom who was more than accepting....she knew even before I told her. Dad was never around so I told him in a letter and he was okay with it. My 2 sister's didn't care as long as I was happy and they figured it out as well. So baby, all I can say is to move forward and don't look back. Your husband Daniel is a delight and you boys are so beautiful together. DO NOT let being gay define who you are, because you are so much more than that. I tell the gay kids that I mentor as their "Mama" to not let people treat you less than you are....just move on, let go and make it the BEST life you can for yourself. You have a beautiful life with Daniel and I want you boys to ALWAYS be happy. YOU DESERVE THAT! LIVE LIFE HAPPY, JOYOUS AND FREE!!! XOXOX MAMA😊❤🐻🎶🎵🎶🎵

    Thanks for telling your story, I think you give very good advice in your conclusion about finding true friends who are supportive in all aspects of your life in what you are trying to achieve, and have similar interests. I wish I had advice like that 50 years ago, but then the world was very different and there was no understanding or knowledge about what a true gay friendship and relationship was.

    Your advice is spot on. You were absolutely right to get rid of the toxic people in your life make new friends. Yes it hurts when you lose old friends because of who you are who God created you to be you absolutely right I found my soulmate that means the world to me, he’s my fiancé
    Keep sharing your videos they help kids from committing suicide. You have no idea the impact you have the number one killer of teens is suicide. No one should feel bad about themselves, especially if their parents don’t approve that’s their parents beliefs. That does not have to be your beliefs keep doing what you’re doing you’re doing good things.

I wasn't there, I don't know you (but really happy for you that you've found Dan) so am amazed you would even talk to that AH, let alone accept the 1st date or even go get a social drink with him.... you be you, you and Dan make a great couple, wishing you a lifetime future together, and loving this channel..... UK guy, full of admiration for you.

      as two young men, I hope you tackle the tackle and check, most of us don't. The Xmas show was done with humour, but to save lives..... wonderful that the Rugby player, a gay out man, stood up and told his story.... thank you - xXx

    I came out three times in my life; the first two when I thought I was bisexual, the third and final time when I realised I was actually gay. I can definitely understand that it's not easy as the words are there on the tip of your tongue, it's just actually vocalising them is the 'bigger' part of it, mainly cos you're nervous as the what the potential reaction will be. Ironically both my older siblings told me that they'd already guessed I was gay before I actually told them which actually made it a lot easier. My immediate family unit aka parents and older siblings, all know now and have a greater acceptance of it so it's not much of an issue with them now. Also they're okay with the fact that I'm dating a guy now (though we're still in the dating part, we're not actually a couple yet). Hearing stories like yours are just further proof and reason that equality inclusion needs to become part of the national curriculum in all areas of education. My reason for saying that is because it'll educate people more on the facts on the LGBT+ community and history. Also, it'd help immensely in abridging greater understandings and relations with other minority groups and communities.

    • @iamxjamesross
      @iamxjamesross  3 года назад +1

      This is very true! I think, as LGBT, we forget that 'straight' people have not been 'exposed' to us. So it's a shock. We have had time to accept and acknowledge our feelings and by the time we feel ok with it, when we get a negative reaction its almost as if you don't understand why because it's now been 'normalized' to us. The same as after the months go by it becomes more 'normalized' for 'straights' or parents to learn of their kids being lgbt. Slowly the world is learning and becoming more accepting, and in the next few generations it will be so widely accepted, it won't be much of an issue. But it is important for lgbt to acknowledge their parents have lived a lifetime without this. In fact, I'm planning on making a second video regarding this and I'm going to include this paragraph in there. Thank you for bringing to the surface my thoughts on this.

    Its Bullshit to be forced out!
    Back in the 60's and 70's in was a whole different world. Especially on a ranch in the west.
    Guys liked messing around at night with the lights out. But, in the morning back to being a straight cowboy. Not like Broke Back Mountain.
    When you were alone with another guy, then they wanted to "have fun.." Two minutes later if our buddies showed up, then we acted super straight. Super straight guys would invite me to spend the night [with no hint of anything.] Then once alone, they would create some reason to get undressed [i. e. swimming] but then once naked the wrestling began, and things progressed rapidly.
    You live in a much better society now. I would have enjoyed growing up now, instead of then.
    Sorry, you were forced out. In my day, and community you would have been beaten several times. Even by guys who hooked up with you a week earlier. So, take it as a blessing you born when you were.

    • @iamxjamesross
      @iamxjamesross  3 года назад +4

      I was lucky to have not had such a negative reaction as in the times before. However unfortunately I feel that it would still happen in a lot of the small towns / villages. Even in this day and age. One day hopefully it will be widely accepted. 💚 thank you for your comment
